Chapter 3

'BooooooooooooomM!!!'

The three huge boulders destroys the tree where Akari and Rouchi was ,and proceeds to destroy the ground, scarring the land and scattering dust all over the place.

'Tiiiiiiissss~'

No.3 Iwa Shinobi:" Think we got them?"

No.1 Iwa Shinobi" OI! Put you guar-"

Rouchi dashes out of the dust with his hand cocked back

HAAA!

Rouchi tries to punch one of them but was easily blocked by the enemy

Two Iwa Shinobi tries to overwhelm him quickly but Rouchi simply jumps back and ducks down

Akari jumps out behind Rouchi and slashes his water enhanced tanto with enough momentum to create one concentrated slash

'Fwooshing!'

one of the Iwa shinobi dodges with the cost of an arm while the other one tries to block the attack with a kunai but fails to do so when the blade cuts through the kunai like butter and continues to cut the man in half

'SShhiiinngG!'

'Tiiissshhhh!!"The blood spurts out, spraying it's blood everywhere dyeing the ground red

While the blood sprays everywhere, one of the shinobi attacks with a jutsu towards Rouchi who was behind Akari

'Earth Release: Earth Flow Spears' condensed mud spikes burst out of the ground trying to skewer Rouchi

Rouchi successfully dodges the attack but was met by two clones of the same Iwa shinobi, punching him in the gut and the face.

"Gguuughh!" Rouchi flies to a tree, injured from the punch

Rouchi tries to ease the pain but jumps back quickly when the clones strikes towards him with rock hardened fists that easily destroys the tree Rouchi was resting in.

"Damn it their unto me!, I need to be able to link up with Akari to perform our jutsu"

The Iwa Shinobi follows him trying to punch him but Rouchi calms down and activates his jutsu

"Wind Release: Whirlwind Fist" Rouchi clad his fists with revolving blades of wind

Rouchi successfully parries their hardened fists and attacks them, cutting their arms in the process until finally being struck on the chest.

One of the clones breaks down while the other reforms himself and holds Rouchi's hands in place

Rouchi realizing he was stuck quickly makes the symbol for a shadow clone jutsu

"Poom!' The shadow clone appears and attacks the clone with the same jutsu used by Rouchi

Right after Rouchi frees himself, the original appears with a new clone and attacks him at the same time

'Earth Release: Earth Flow Spears' which bursts out spike from the surrounding ground

'Earth Release: Rock Gun Technique' which spews out rocks in high speeds at a small size then enlarging into a huge boulder.

Rouchi , realizing he's cornered, jumps up and unleashes a coordinated jutsu with his clone

'Wind Release: Breakthrough"

'Fire Release: Flame Bullet"

The two elements complements each other and destroys the incoming boulder

"BOOOOMM!!"

'Tisssshhhh" smoke rises and dust covers the area

Rouchi leaps out of the smoke and the clone dispels it self due to covering Rouchi from the spikes below skewering itself.

'Pant~Pant, Uugghh!!, the pain from the clone really hurts ain't it Akari?,Pant~Pant"

While he was panting trying to catch his breath, he suddenly jumps sideways after seeing shadows of shurikens coming towards him.

"Thunk!Thunk!Thunk!Thunk" the shurikens embedding itself on the ground and trees

"Damn it, Where is he?"

Rouchi jumps out to the side when he hears some sound on the trees

!Swingg!

"AGGGHHHH!!!"

Rouchi's legs were cut off when the enemy appears with a sword encased with lethal wind

"Fuckk!!, My Legs!! it hurts!"

While Rouchi was crying in pain, the Iwa Shinobi flickers towards him sword drawn to kill him

Rouchi closes his eyes in fear of the enemy and waits for his death, but it never came and all what he heard was a sword clashing with another sword.

Clik!Clik!Clik!

He opens his eyes and sees Akari bleeding in the back and clashing his tanto with the enemy sword.

"Akari!"

"Wassup Rouchi!, looking pretty with your legs out there!"

"Legs!?, Fuck! my legs! I forgot!" Rouchi Screams in pain remembering his legs were gone and bandages both of it to ease the blood loss. "Agggghhh!!, It hurts!"

Akari let's out a small smile then quickly becomes serious in confronting the enemy

Akari's PoV Before coming back to Rouchi

'Shit Rouchi's getting attacked, I need to go there!"

Akari tries to go to Rouchi but ends up blocking multiple kunais

~Cling!Cling!Cling!~

The Iwa shinobi flickers towards him with a rock encased fist. Akari dodges the attack and throws kunais with paper bombs

BOOOM! BOOM!

Explosion appears, scattering smoke and dust everywhere.

Akari relaxes a bit but then suddenly becomes serious, jumping back sensing the enemy coming towards him.

'Swingg!'

The one-armed Iwa Shinobi slashes with his kunai but misses to do so

"AGGGHhh,Damn it!! stop moving around Brat!!, look what you FU-(Redacted) did to my arm!!"

The Iwa makes 4 earth clones and sends it towards Akari flickering.

Clang!Clang!Cling! ThuD!ThuD!

Akari parries 3 kunais trying to stab him and successfully cut two clones in half, then jumping back quickly when one of the clones launched a boulder to him.

"BOOMM!"

Right as he landed on the ground he heard the original Iwa Shinobi to summon a jutsu

'Earth Release: Bedrock Coffin'

When he landed, multiple sections of earth completely surrounded him intending to crush him

"Fuck, he surrounded me!'

right as he said that he heard another jutsu being casted

'Earth Release: Reverse Antlion' the jutsu used the earth beneath him to harden and encase him, immobilizing him in the process

"Shit! this is bad he's gonna crush me!" As the walls were gonna crush him

he made a shadow clone and the clone used the Enhanced Water Breathing-2nd Form: Water Wheel and cut the boulders intending to crush them in half then kicked apart the earth trap with a chakra enhanced kick.

After that the clone poofed and gave back the residual chakra to Akari, who escaped from the trap

Akari goes out of the earth made coffin but was not given any break when he saw the 4 earth clones with paper bombs attached to their body running towards him at full speed.

"Damn it then!!'

Akari gathered half of his remaining chakra and spews out flame from his mouth

"Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!"

"~BOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!~"

The ground shakes, trees uprooted or destroyed due to the explosion, and smoke and dust covering the whole area.

"~TiiiiiiiiissshhH~"

After a while, the smoke and dust resides a bit showing Akari lying on the ground bleeding and not moving

"Damn Brat!!, that took a while but I'm gonna kill you"

As he was about to stab Akari in the neck with a kunai, another Akari appears behind him and stabs his heart," Wha-What the!, H-How d-", Akari did not even let him finish and decapitates him.

As the Iwa Shinobi lies down on the ground with no head, the Akari that was lying on the ground went poof and gave the residual chakra to Akari.

'Pant~Pant~Pant, Finally did it, you troublesome Bi-(Redacted)!!

Dang! he made a mess out of me. My back's injured from the explosion so I can't move very well.

"AAGGGHH!!"

Shit! I forgot about Rouchi, I need to go there quickly'

Akari quickly flicker to the direction where he heard Rouchi scream. "Damn it I won't reach him in time at this speed!, I need to go faster! and Faster!

I need to be swift, I need to be quick, please let me reach him in time!!"

Without him knowing he activated the Breathing Style of Thunder, boosting him in great speeds

Akari Pov when he arrived at Rouchi

Akari was clashing with his tanto against the sword of the Iwa shinobi

Clan!Clang!Clang!Clang!

Iwa Shinobi' Damn it!, where the hell did that fool go!?, I thought he was fighting this damn Brat!'

'Clang!' 'BBZZZZZZShiiingg!!!'

'AAAGGGHHHH!!"

Akari successfully parries his attack and unknowingly used the first form of Thunder Breathing, cutting through both the arms and leaving a deep clean cut through the Iwa Shinobi's abdomen

"AAggghhh!! IT HURTS! IT HURTS! IT HURTS!, MAKE IT STOOPP!! PllEAASEE!!!'

the Iwa shinobi screams in pain due to the deep cut in his body and lightning coursing through his body.

'AAGG!!-'

His screams were cut short when Akari stabs him through his eye, the blade reaching to it's brain

"Pant~Pant, We~we did it,"

Thud! Akari falls to the ground unconscious

"Akari!!" seeing Akari fall to the ground Rouchi crawls towards him despite the pain he's experiencing.

"Akari!, wake up!, I'm coming so don't you dare die on me!!' Not knowing that Akari was just unconscious, Rouchi tries to wake him up thinking that he's dead

"Akari!, you bastard!! don't you dare go!!'

While Rouchi was screaming at Akari to wake him up, he hears the voice of one of their teammates

"Akari!! Rouchi!! are you okay!?, Where are you guys!?" Aoi was shouting towards them trying to know where they are

"Aoi? Aoi!?, Aoi we're here!! Oii!!, Oii!!"

Hearing his teammates cry, Aoi together with another group of shinobi were going towards them. Knowing Aoi knows where they are, as Rouchi falls unconscious too.

Akari wake up from his dream and opens his eye

'It was a dream about the past huh...'

Akari get's up to sit down and look at the window

'It's gonna be just a day now and I will go back outside doing missions again huh.."

It's been 2 and a half month, since Akari was resting and recuperating on his injuries

At first he was bored not having anything to do, but was quickly overjoyed when he noticed that the hot medical-nin he saw before and was overjoyed when she's the one going to be taking care of him.

So the day go by with Akari either eating, sleeping, or talking to her

in those 2 and a half month, he got to know her name as 'Koharu Mizuno', a girl who is a medical-nin trainee for about 3 years now. She enjoys listening to various stories that Akari tells her.

Akari found out that the stories that he picked up randomly when he was sleeping or training was actually quite entertaining to her. He found out that she specifically like the manga or anime he got on his memories. He found it quite amusing when she makes all kind of expressions when she listens to him.

To make it easier for her, he told her that she can enjoy it more if he can draw or write it on a paper. In the next day he told her he needs paper to write on, she sneaked some unused paper to his room for him to use.

For the rest of the month, Koharu took care of Akari or hangs out in his room talking to him or listening to her. When they got closer to each other, they decided to tell some things about their self. When he told her about the 2 and a half years of his Anbu life where he picked up his assassination techniques, trained his so called "Breathing Techniques", and the things he had to do after retiring from Anbu just so he can be promoted to Chunin and participate directly to war, She was surprised that he told her such things and that he was too trusting. But she immediately shut up when he told her " Hmmm...I don't know, when I'm with you I feel way too relaxed and besides I got a good eye when it comes to choosing people that I can trust". She got red when he told her such embarrassing things, that he slapped his head.

"OWW!, What the hell did you do that for!?"

"SHUTUP!SHUTUP!SHUTUP!"

"Well just say it when you don't like it, I mean I was sincere when I said that I felt like that, Hmph"

at first she was embarrassed but she found it quite cute when he acted like a kid causing her to giggle a bit. When he heard that she giggled on his pain he ignored her for a few hours causing her to really laugh out loud that he acted like a kid but quickly apologized when she heard that he won't give her any stories to read which in turn made Akari a bit insulted that she only wants to talk to him because of his stories.

This got Koharu feel really guilty because she actually like it when he's talking to her and feels happy that they got along well. Seeing Koharu act like that he also felt guilty because at first he only thought of her as someone he could kill his boredom with, but he ended up liking her presence and looks for her every time that she's gone.

The two fell silent for a few minutes before deciding to say sorry but ended up speaking at the same time. This caused the two to argue for a minute on who's gonna be first to speak up, it got heated to the point their speaking loudly, that the shinobis and medical-nin who heard it ended up watching the two bickering like kids. When they took notice of the others watching or laughing at them, they both got embarrassed quickly and had faces completely red.

Akari, to hide his shame , ended up covering his whole self with a blanket while Koharu that had no where to hide her shame ended up going inside his blanket too.

"What the hell are you doing here!!"

"Shut up and let me in!'

"No it's my own blanket! get you're own blanket!"

"SHUTUP!SHUTUP!SHUTUP!"

The bickering of the two inside the blanket caused even more laughter for the others watching them, causing the both of them to get even more embarrassed.

The Next Day

Akari just got discharged and wore his new mesh chainmail armor beneath his new reinforced Jounin flak Jacket that he ordered to be upgraded using his new money from a Space Inventory Seal that was made by Rouchi after learning his status causing him to send some seals to Akari.

Just right after he finished wearing his clothes he opened the door just to see Koharu.

Seeing each other they both got red a bit remembering what happened yesterday but Akari quickly calms himself and tries to talk to her who was getting red for another reason.

"Umm...Koharu what's wrong are you okay you're still a bit red so... are you good?"

Akari said in a genuine concern due to Koharu still having a red face.

"Huh!?, yeah yeah no, I'm good, I'm ok" Koharu said after calming her self a bit but a bit of red can still be seen in her face.

"Hmm, okaaayy, if you say so" Akari who did not know what's going on with her just replied to her in a bit of joking but concerned tone. Seeing her still not speaking, he tries to speak of another thing to lighten the mood a bit.

"So, what do you think?, I look cool don't I?"

Akari said as he shows his Dark green Reinforced Jounin flak jacket with a Light blue T-shirt inside topped by a mesh chainmail, Dark Blue pants with blue steel plated grieves covering both of his legs until to his knee, White gauntlets covering his entire arm from his hands to his elbows, Armored black boots, pouches behind his waist and both of his sides, and a pair of Ninjato behind his back.

Koharu became red again when Akari showcased what he's wearing, so to hide her embarrassment she asked him what they were made of.

"Oh, well the gauntlets, grieves, armored boots, and Ninjato are made of Chakra Metal with a bit of Orichalum, while the Jounin flak jacket has steel plates and silk inside and some steel mesh chainmail while the t-shit is actually ...well T-shirt"

"What!, aren't you a shinobi so why are you carrying so much armor? won't it drag you down?, and isn't Chakra Metal and Orichalum Expensive!?" Shouts in a surprise by Koharu thinking that he has way too much to carry

"Whoa Whoa, don't shout ok I'll tell you the reason

So firstly, the reason that I wear that many armor is because the Chakra metal in them allows me to inject chakra through them and make a barrier for any incoming attacks and, no it doesn't drag me down because I can manage it perfectly because I have the skills for it, finally for the last question, am I rich?, Hell no!, I have burned through my money the moment I had it, so I'm basically broke right now!"

Surprised by the sudden outburst Koharu was taken aback by his declaration. "So, does that answer your question Koharu-san?"

"I guess so, but still you need to be careful at who you need to tell this with, you don't know maybe I'm a spy just speaking to you so that I can gather Information!!'

"Well if that's true I guess I messed up, but I told you I have a keen eye when it comes through people that I can trust"

"You! You really!(sigh)...I give up you are really too stubborn"

"Hehe~, I need to be, I'm a shinobi you see fufu"

"I don't really know any shinobi that will tell everything about him and is telling way too much to a person he just met for a few months"

"Hmm...then why don't you tell me what to do and be there with me when I have to be cautious"

"Wha-!,You you really!!"

The two continued talking or teasing each other for a few minutes before Koharu dropped the bomb.

"Akari...you'll come back again right?"

Noticing the worried tone on Koharu, Akari pats her head and tells her with a warm and tender voice

"Yeah, I'll come back so don't worry"

Hearing that, Koharu returns to a joyful attitude and tries to act tough by slapping his hand away from her head.

"Okay Okay , you need to go now or you'll be in trouble!"

"Wha-!, sheesh and here I was trying to be considerate"

The two leave the medical area and Akari says goodbye to Koharu as he goes to the Commander's office

"Oi! Akari, you better visit me again alright!!'

"Yeah I'll visit you so don't you dare leave when I'm back alright!"

Akari says so as he walks towards the commander's camp

'Don't you dare break you're promise~' Koharu said so that only to herself hears.
