New Ability

"Okay thank you!" The lizardman child said. Kai's had to fix his hair because those claws really messed it up. The lizardman walked back too his mom giggling, with his tribal clothing clinking. All the lizardman's tribal clothes seemed to be unique in some way, He thought that was cool. The hunters always wore the same silver armor though. But Kai noticed were going at it with the repairs, which was good.

He sighed and sat on a rock nearby. "Karla?"

"What is it?"

"Im guessing you were born in a small village, so do you know how close your village is to here?"

"I have absolutely no clue, the forests here do seem a little different from the one I always explored in."

"Alright."

"Also," Kai added. "Did you tell all the lizardman moms to just stay here? Because I totally forgot about telling them where to rest."

"Yeah, I just thought all these rocks in this park would be nice for them all to sit on."

Kai nodded his head. "Makes sense."

He laid down on the rock from his sitting position. It was about time he get a few new abilities. He was waiting for some spare time to do this anyways. Because he would have to call off all the repairing before it got too late.

"Book," he announced. "Appear!"

Stardust swirled in front of him, and the book appeared over him as grand looking as ever. The gold somehow still glittered in the darkness.

"Can I learn something new?"

The book flipped pages and landed on a new spell.

Kai read it.

-----------------------------------------------------

Cosmic Magic: Luminant Star

Description: Summon the power of a star upon your enemies. The spell gives off extreme heat, and being near it won't just cause severe burns, but also blindness and radiation sickness, due to the ultraviolet, x-ray and gamma radiation. Intense radiation bombarding your enemies cells could cause radiation sickness, nausea, immune system damage, cancer and death. Of course you can adjust the power in the spell, and the energy it gives off.

"Jesus christ." Kai breathed. "That sounds scary. I only know what death and nausea is. What are the others?"

Nothing happend. Kai expected that.

"Anyways,"

He proceeded to read the instructions.

Instructions;

Step 1: Put out your hand facing outwards.

Step 2: Imagine your self gathering heat and energy around your palm in a sphere.

Step 3: When the spell appears, make sure to concentrate on holding it so it doesn't fall to the ground.

Step 4: Throw it at your target like you would with a ball.

"Huh?" Kai said. "So this would be like condensing solar wind into a ball like I did with that troll? The solar wind spell never said anything about radiation though. So I guess it's different."

----------------------------------------------------

It was beginning to get really dark out. Kai called back all of the lizardman working on rebuilding the village. They all gathered infront of him. The croud got bigger and bigger, until the whole park in the village was totally full. Kai guessed around 700 lizardman. Which was way more than he thought. There was also of course the 30 to 40 lizardman mothers behind him with Karla. The other lizardman in that building from before seemed to spread word about him taking over the village and the orders. The croud all still looked stressed and pissed as hell. Kai was expecting these faces for at least a month.

He cleared his voice. "So," he said. "It seems that we will need a bit more time until we get functional buildings, and I'd like to know where we do all of the farming and water gathering. Will anybody tell me where those two things are?"

"Errrr, our livestock farm is half a mile from here, and so are the crops," one lizardman interjected in the croud.

That was good, that means that production wouldn't halt.

"Okay good, I was also wondering, how much of the village was destroyed?" Kai asked the croud again.

"About half of it, sir." Another lizardman interjected.

Kai destroyed less of the village than he thought. He never explored very much of the village, so it made sense. The village was definitely way bigger than he thought. There were probably still so many forces that could fight against him when he used solar wind, but they were all preoccupied putting the fires out, and all surrendered instantly after word came out that he was taking over. At least they made it easy for Kai. That would've sucked if they kept coming with soldiers.

"Alright then, we will sleep outside for the night. Whoever lives in the houses still standing can reside in them. The ones with broken houses will have to sleep outside for the time being," he annouced.

There was a concurrent "Thank god!" and "Dammit!"

Kai was expecting that.

"Oh and also," he added. "Who put up the protective barrier?"

All the lizardman looked at each other pointing at who to ask.

One of the larger and darker green lizardman spoke out.

"It was a powerful mage of our tribe that died a little over 10 years ago."
