Finish Him!

Kai could feel the strange earth creature staring at him with anger. Even though it didn't have eyes.

The worm creature jumped from the ground, dirt and dust from the ground being throwed aside. The creature jumped higher than he had expected.

It almost reached his height.

"What the heck is this thing!?" He yelled. "How the hell does it have that kind of power!?"

He commanded the nebula cloud he was on to go higher up. He went up about 20 more feet, so he was pretty high now. Luckily, he wasn't scared of heights. He then realized that the wretched book timer was done.

The timer concept was really strange. Maybe the point of it was to slow growth? The voice earlier did say Cosmic magic was very powerful. And so far he has been learning the moves extremely quickly.

"Book!" He screamed. "Appear!"

The book materialized out of thin air. It was enveloped in cosmic sparkles and stars.

"Show me the next ability!"

The book opened to the next blank page, and text started to materialize out of it. It was painfully slow.

"Come on! I don't have time!" He yelled. He was starting to get tired from all the power he was outputting. The worm was still jumping at him, and every time it seemed to get closer and closer.

"Finally!"

-----------------------

Cosmic Magic, spell 4: Abberation of light.

Description: Warp spacetime to your content. Effective against non-magical creatures, no matter the defense and strength. Uneffective against any creature with a reasonable amount of magic power.

How to use:

Step 1: Pretend the space around you is your body.

Step 2: Try to condense and repulse the space inside enemies for max damage. Or use around enemies it to make shockwaves. Similar to #@!% ^%^$#&, unlocked when you reach #$%@$^$ %%$&

-----------

"Huh, weird." He said. "Wonder what the last part means."

The end of the directions were strange. But other that that, he got everything else. The spell should work on the worm because it seems to only have physical prowess. He lucked out on this ability.

"Okay whatever, Let's just do this!" He Affirmed. "Pretend the space around you is part of your body, then alter the state of it by repulsing or condensing."

He closed his eyes and concentrated. He felt the connection between the space around him, and secured the feeling. He opened his eyes, and they were glowing even brighter than before.

"I think I can do this!" Kai exclaimed. He put his hand infront of himself, palm out. He wanted to destroy the worm from the inside, just because it sounded cooler to him honestly. In the condensing way that it stated in the book. He waited for the worm to land back out the ground, and he proceeded to strike.

"ABBERATION OF LIGHT!"

There was a strange monotone rumbling sound that quaked the air. It had a metallic sound to it. The trees around him also violently rumbling.

All the sudden, the worm started to contort in a swirl. Actually, that included everything around the worm too. It was like reality itself was being warped. Well actually was spacetime, but they both sounded very powerful.

The worm let out an ugly scream. It slowly faded into silence. As with the worm's body which was incinerated. Literally gone, with no trace of anything.

Kai stared on his little nebula cloud in the sky, with disbelief.

"Wow."

he shook his head to get out of his daze. He proceeded to lower the nebula cloud he was on to the ground.

"Feels great to be back on the ground!" Kai remarked. He picked up a little leaf from the ground and examined it, for now reason at all. He was still taken aback by the complete vaporization of that worm. He felt like he wasn't ready for that kind of power. He didn't want to become some evil overlord, and if he power like that, god know what he could do.

He proceeded to walk back to the tree he was at earlier. It took him a while to get through the underbrush, but he made it. He felt like his memory was a lot better than before obtaining Cosmic Magic. It was very strange.

When he got to the tree, the weird crystal-eyed hairy rodent creature he had seen earlier was standing on the branch. It had ginger fur. It didn't seem like a trheat, and it was more curious than anything.

"Hello little guy!" He said. kai stepped forward. The little creature tilted it's head.

"Squeak!?"
