Detainment

Kai woke up. He sat up from his bed and looked around. He was in a barred room. There were lizardman guards standing infront of his cell. One was more burly, with black scales. The other was more thin, with ordinary green scales. They both were wearing silver armour

It was now the second time he has been caged up.

He sighed. "What is up with my luck?"

Kai wasn't that worried because he could just break out at anytime with Cosmic Magic.

He got up from the bed and realized there was a little girl sitting at the foot of the bed. She looked up at Kai. She had sparkling blue eyes with blond hair. Her clothes were brown and tattered. She seemed young, maybe about 9.

"U-uh hello." The girl muttered as she looked away from Kai. She was obviously scared, and Kai did look intimidating with his clothes. "I let you sleep on the bed b-because you seemed tired."

Kai felt really bad for this girl. He wondered how she got captured.

"Thank you little girl." He replied. "Whats your name?"

"It's Karla." She looked up at him.

"Nice to meet you." Kai said smiling. He leaned against the wall next to the bed.

"U-uh what's your n-name?" She muttered in a soft tone. She started playing with her hair.

"It's Kai."

"K-kai," she repeated under her breath. "That's a cool name."

Kai chuckled. "Thank you."

The little girl sighed. She seemed alright on the outside, but Kai could sense how unstable her emotions were.

"Don't worry, We both can break out of this place." Kai whispered so the guard wouldn't hear him. He wanted to lift this girl's spirit.

Her eyes widened. "B-but how?"

"Don't worry, just give me a second." He said with a smug face.

He wanted to learn a new spell, but the guards would notice, so that was out of the picture. He decided to just use the spells he already had.

He walked up to the bars of the cell. The two lizardman guards turned around him and pointed his spear towards Kai.

The girl jumped back out of fear and ran to the back of the cell.

"Don't try anything, human," the more burly lizardman hissed while flicking his tail. His black scales hardly reflected any light from the overhead lantern in the hall outside the cell.

"Don't worry," Kai teased. "I won't do anything. Although, I would like some snacks."

The two lizardman let out a low growl and turned back around.

"So you guys are just going to ignore me?"

Another grunt from the two lizardman.

"Okay, understood." Kai sighed. His expression changed from teasing straight to serious. "Magnetar."

His pupils slowly turned from an ordinary brown to a glowing purple with hundreds of tiny stars in them. The rest of his eyes turned a soft black color. He put his hand outward. A bright blue orb appeared right infront of it.

A high pitch monotone humming could be heard in the air. The girl stepped back and gasped, grabbing onto the sheets of the bed.

The guards turned around with wide eyes, alarmed. The bright blue orb seemed to also release energy towards the lizardman and the bars.

The cell bars and the two lizardman contorted. Everything infront of Kai in a 5 foot radius was vaporized into dust.
