Kai faced down at the ground so nobody would see him activate cosmic magic.

His eyes began to glow bright.

This was his moment. He could hardly keep in a smile.

He looked back up. The crowd gasped in shock in response to his eyes. They started to back away in fear of what was about to happen.

"Solar wind! 100%," Kai screamed out.

Intense heat emanated from Kai. The air around him practically lit of fire.

The lizardman at the pedestal backed away from the heat, including the guards who got serious burns right away. Kai managed to warped the heat around Karla so she wouldn't be harmed.

"W-what is this!? Guards kil-!"

Before the dark green lizardman at the pedestal could finish his sentence, the whole courtyard was shrouded in flame. The audience ran away in fear of their lives.

The intense heat and smoke turned the sky red. Ash from the trees fell from the sky. Then it was followed up by a second explosion that engulfed half of the lizardman town in flame. The town was in turmoil. It only toook 15 seconds.

Kai was able to control the direction of the second explosion of solar wind so it dodged around Karla, leaving her unharmed once more.

He looked around after the ordeal. The guards and many of the audience seemed to be burnt to ash.

Kai stood up and stretched. He was breathing pretty hard after exerting that much energy. He definitely wouldn't have been able to exert that much power from solar wind when he fought that huge troll. So he was glad to see the improvement, even though he never really used solar wind after that fight with the troll.

He walked of the courtyard and look back at Karla. She was frozen in shock.

Kai snapped his fingers.

"Yoohoo, Karla," He said.

Karla shook herself and looked at Kai.

Her lips moved, but she said nothing.

"H-how?" She breathed as she managed to get a word out. "W-what kind of fire magic is that?"

"Well it isn't exactly fire magic, but I don't want to give away too much info," Kai responded. He did not want word to spread. At least not yet.

She looked down at the ground, refraining from asking anymore questions. She looked a bit sad.

He gestured at her.

"Come on. I really want to check if there are survivors"

"O-okay."

Kai walked down the road, looking back and forth between the houses. At the end of the road, there was a decent sized building that seemed to be made out of pure metal.

Kai pointed at the building. "I bet they're hiding in there."

"Maybe."

Kai noticed how Karla became less talkitive than she usually was after seeing him use solar wind. Maybe she was scared, maybe she was still in shock. Kai had no clue whatsoever.

When they got to the building, they were met with two big doors with huge handles. Kai tugged at it, but it seemed to be locked.

"Hmmmm," He thought to himself. "What ability should I use?"

He just decided to use abberation of light. He probably wouldn't even need to call the name out. Probably only 15% of his energy would work.

He extended his arm, and spacetime itself began to bend. He was aiming for only the doors, so he didn't accidentally kill someone right away. He felt like his mastery of this spell was growing, so he felt good.

The bended spacetime around the door closed in the the singularity in the middle Kai had created, making it just dissappear with no trace.

All the lizardman from inside were terrified. they all started panicking, screaming, and cowering back to the wall of the building. He was pretty sure anyone would do the same if they saw someone completely warp a huge metal door into nothingness.

Lots of moms were hugging there children, with their tail wrapped around them. Some of the older male lizardman took the offensive, staying their ground for whatever Kai would do. There was lot's of crying from children, especially with the ash and red sky in the backround.

Kai made a sinister smile.

He lifted his arm, activating cosmic magic again, his eyes started to glow brighter than they ever had before. The hundreds of stars in his eyes almost hypnotic. His hair looked like it was also slightly tinted purple.

Kai was filled with a lot of anger after after all the ordeals he faced with lizardman, including them taking away his family.
