Destined to Prevail

Kai closed his eyes and recalled the instructions of the spell from his memory. He imagined the air around him heating up, and he felt the warmth spreading through his body. The plants around him started to sizzle. He opened his eyes and looked at the troll, who was now only a few feet away from him. He raised his hands and pretended to grab the wind. He blew it at the troll and shouted "Solar Wind!"

A sudden gust of wind blew towards the troll, carrying with it intense heat, and burning the plants around him. The troll stumbled backward, clearly surprised by the sudden attack. But it quickly regained its balance and charged towards Kai, clearly determined to take revenge.

"You are full of surprises human!" Mozo laughed while running straight at him. "What magic trick will you do next to delay the inevitable?"

Kai only could think of one thing. He had to use the same spell, but output more power!

He closed his eyes and focused even harder, trying to imagine the air around him heating up to an even higher temperature. He felt a surge of energy flowing through his body, and he knew that this time he had to make it count.

He raised his hands again and shouted, "Solar Wind!"

A massive gust of wind blew towards the troll, carrying with it intense heat and blinding light. The troll roared in anger and swung its massive club, trying to hit Kai. But Kai was quick and agile, dodging the attack with a swift movement.

Mozo stumbled forward, off-balance from his missed swing. Kai saw this as an opportunity to strike, and he raised his hands again, this time calling fourth the asteroid spell.

"Asteroid"

He clenched his fist in the air, hoping to increase the power of the impact from before. This time, his fist glowed a purple color. Kai heard a loud howl from the sky. Before he knew it, the asteroid landed straight into the troll's chest with a loud boom. The troll roared in pain and fell backward, its body smoking from the shock.

Kai knew he had to keep up the pressure, so he quickly followed up with Solar wind. This time though, he wanted to change the shape and concentrate it into a more powerful blast.

He focused on the instructions of the spell once again, but this time, he concentrated his energy into his hands, molding the wind into a sphere of intense heat. He shouted, "Solar Wind Sphere!" and released the ball of energy at the troll.

The Mozo was caught off guard by the unexpected attack, and it struggled to defend itself. The sphere hit it square in the chest, sending it flying back, crashing into a nearby tree with a loud thud. The impact shook the ground beneath Kai's feet. The troll was knocked out cold.

Kai at this point, was too tired to use anymore abilities. He was totally out of breath. He looked to the setting sun in the distance. The troll wasn't dead and would wake up soon. Kai decided he needed to run away as fast as he could. This was his only chance.
