Switching sides

"Grand niece, it really is good to see you again." The great elder said with a wide smile on his face.

With the way that he acted, it was like he didn't even remember what had happened last time.

With the way that he was acting, it was almost as if he was a grand uncle that cared very much about his grand niece.

The other elders quickly followed up with what the great elder did and started greeting Kyoko with smiles on their faces.

The way that all of them did this really made it seem like they were setting up some kind of trap. That was just how suspicious all of them were acting.

But they even took it further when the great elder turned to look at Kyoko's father.

"Nephew, it really has been a long time since you've been back. Why have you never come back to visit after all this time? We were all worried about you." The great elder said to Kyoko's father with the same smile on his face.
