Secret meeting

"Diversion?" I asked in a confused voice.

Kyoko said with a nod, "That's right, this whole tournament has been nothing more than a diversion by the Kamo Family. They've been working behind the scenes the entire time."

I was even more confused when I heard this, but I still asked, "How do you know this?"

Kyoko shook her head and put a finger over her lips before saying, "There's too many people around right now. Let's talk about this after we get somewhere quieter."

I nodded in agreement before revealing a bitter smile and saying, "Couldn't you have waited until later to do this then? Was there a need to pull us away while everyone was looking at us?"

Kyoko gave a nod as she said, "Of course there's a reason."

I raised a brow in doubt without saying anything.
