Luck of the draw

After showing off a bit of power, no one dared to pick on me again.

There wasn't even anyone that dared to approach Kyoko out of fear of starting something.

After all, there was nothing to gain from fighting before the tournament started.

If I was someone that they could easily bully, then they might have stirred up some trouble. But now that I've shown that I wasn't that easy to bully, they wouldn't try to cause any trouble that easily.

If they did, all they would do is injure themselves before the tournament.

Unless they were certain that they could beat me with only a few injuries, then they wouldn't do that.

Since no amount of prestige was worth being injured before the tournament which was the main event.

They knew what they were here for and they wouldn't allow themselves to be distracted by other things.
