Domain of Death

" This is my first time using this technique alright, so please don't die ." Su Mu placed both of his palms together into an intricate hand seal and closed his eyes.

" Dong!" Suddenly a loud noise rang out, akin to the ringing of a funeral bell. The entire arena became silent. No one moved an inch and all eyes were glued to the stage, as if the audience were in some kind of spell.

" In the natural order of creation, death is the absolute end of all things. Nothing can escape the clutches of death... not even life itself." Su Mu uttered and opened his eyes which had turned pure black.

" You think a few mystical words can scare me?!! Four seasons sword technique!!! All seasons as one !! " Seemingly angered by Su Mu's so called act, Lin Langtian immediately let out a loud cry. Soon all the swords that had been prostrating before him turned to face Su Mu. Each manifesting the essence of the four natural elements, Fire for Summer, Wind for Autumn, Water for Spring and Ice for Winter!! " Boom" The swords streamed towards Su Mu, disintegrating all the ground around them.

Su Mu didn't even bother to defend himself and just stood there. Just as the swords were about to ruthlessly pierce his body, he flashed his cocky smile and uttered.

" Boom!!" Suddenly Lin Langtian felt himself traveling through worlds unto a barren land.

Looking around him in shock, he began to materialize energy around him but realized that his profound energy was somehow gone.

Soon, the barren land began to transform into a world of blazing inferno. Right in front of him, a huge throne materialized and there was a figure draped in a large black cloak holding a huge scythe.

(2)"Kalos sto anapofefkto!!" The huge figure muttered in an unknown language before tapping the edge of the scythe unto the ground. Soon, millions of demonic creatures burst out of the ground and began rushing towards Lin Langtian.

" Get off me you filth!!!" He tried pushing them away but he realized that couldn't. Soon he felt himself being dragged into a pit. Looking down into the pit, the only thing he saw was infinite darkness.

" No!! No!!!!!" Turning his head around while screaming, he saw Su Mu sitting on the shoulder of the large cloaked figure laughing.

" Save me!! Save me!!!" Screaming for the last time, he was dragged into the abyss after which it closed like nothing ever happened....

In the real world, moments ago, the audience witnessed Su Mu about to get completely eradicated by dozens of swords when suddenly he muttered something from his mouth. Next thing they saw was a vast amount of death energy bursting out and formed something like a barrier, isolating the two fighters in a pocket dimension.

" Is— is that a domain?!" This time the Sect Master himself stood up and uttered in shock. Su Mu was at the level of intent, how was he able to jump directly to form a domain.

Behind him, one elder collapsed, as the other gasped in shock.

A disciple to have formed a domain?! He wasn't even 18 years old. The hurtful thing was that, domains could only be formed by ones own comprehension. No amount of resources could aid one in forming his or her domain... or so they thought.

" Hehehe seeing the shocked faces of those old fogies it was worthwhile teaching domain expansion to the idiot." Yang Chen smiled .

A second later, the huge black ball of darkness disappeared and Lin Langtian's body smashed unto the ground.

An elder from the Heavenly Sword Mountain rushed to check up on him, and immediately relaxed after seeing his beating heart.

"Winner. Su Mu!" The judge announced after a while of silence before Su Mu walked off the stage with his cocky smile. If one looked closely one could see a trickle of blood at the corner of his lips. He was quite injured from using the domain.

His domain worked on the concept of absolute death, however to save Lin Langtian he had to bring back his soul from the land of the dead.

" I'm never using this technique again until I meet a real enemy." He muttered to himself before taking his seat beside Yang Chen.

" You can stop pretending in front of me. I know you're badly injured. " Yang Chen chuckled and Su Mu spat out a mouth full of blood .

" I'm fine. I'm just exhausted ." He uttered before resting on his chair. " Who knew he would suddenly achieve the enlightened sword heart in the middle of the fight." He coughed out some of his internals while speaking.

" Next match, Mu Chen vs Yang Chen. Arena 1" Immediately the judge announced the next match, the crowd broke out in uproar.

" I guess I'm next. "Yang Chen smiled and slowly walked to the stage under the watchful gazes of the crowd.
