Chapter one

Usually, in a novel, there's a male lead who supports the main lead without question, even if they end up dying.

Ning Feng didn't end up like that, he gained self-awareness and travels through different worlds—never following the intended plot.

Ning Feng's eyes became cold, "Young master, it wouldn't be advised to attach yourself to such women."

The main lead, the main male lead, Liu Chan turned his gaze, "You're just my bodyguard, why are you minding my business?"

"If anything happens to you, Old Master will have me killed." Ning Feng explained, "Hence, I already investigated her background."

Liu Chan looked at Ning Feng, "Speak."

"Her birth name is Ma Cha, she was born in a small rural village outside of the major city of Bengal, she was sold at the age of eight to a powerful rich second class wealthy family called the Gong's hence her name was formally changed to Gong Cha, but the only purpose was to replace the real Gong family young miss who died of a terminal illness." Ning Feng explained, "She's formally used as a means to ensure the marriage contract with the Du family is still liable, her grades are average and she's currently rather prideful, applied only when she wants something in need, and has plenty of boy toys."

Liu Chan sneered, "How thorough indeed, not like my last bodyguard."

"It's whatever young master desires." Ning Feng replied, "Young master, is there anything else?"

"Ning Feng, how old are you?" Liu Chan inquired.

"Last time I remembered, I was 89 years old." Ning Feng remarked, "But I look like I'm 19 years old."

Laughter came, "Ning Feng, no wonder. You think yourself so old, but you aren't much older than me."

"Regardless, if she's merely like that—I wouldn't bother, she isn't worthy of becoming my wife, to begin with." Liu Chan remarked, "You think my old man would've approved?"

"Unlikely, unless she was carrying your child." Ning Feng said, "That would be rather slim, it's recommended for women not to have children until their twenty-five."

Liu Chan closed the file, "Burn this, I don't want to see it anymore."

Ning Feng pulled out his lighter, setting the file on fire before dumping it into the trash can, letting it burn.

"Young master, I suspected for a moment—-that you were interested in a woman. Perhaps, you really like men after all!"

"Shut up! Who likes men?"

"Me, young master, I do."

"I'd forgotten—-ha!"
