Chapter ten:

Today was Jack's training day with Eden and Sam and Dean Winchester was out on a case and Jack and Eden was alone in the bunker.

"Ready Jack?" Said Eden and Jack nodded his head yes.

They then went to the training room. "Okay, Jack... Now everyone is fuelled by something. One feeling or motivation is at it's core. Fear, anger, joy and greed, anything really. Michael is fuelled by loyalty. Lucifer is fuelled by passion, which can sometimes be anger. My father God is fuelled by pride. They are at their most powerful when they are fighting with their core being." Said Eden.

"And what are you fuelled by, aunt Eden?" Replied Jack Kline. "Protection... I am at my strongest when I protect myself, my world, or those I love." Said Eden. "Well, what's my core being?" Replied Jack Kline. "Sorry Jack. I can't tell you. You gotta figure it out on your own." Said Eden as she hoped up on the table.

"How?" Replied Jack Kline. "See that pencil? Move it with your mind." Said Eden. Jack then tried to move the pencil but nothing happened. "It's not working." Replied Jack Kline.

"Well that makes sense. Jack your power isn't raw power. It comes from your core. You can't control your powers without it. Find your core and you can do anything. Even move a pencil." Said Eden. "You're a good teacher." Replied Jack Kline and Eden just chuckled to herself.

(Time skip.)

Jack Kline tried again and again to move the pencil but nothing happened. Maybe his core was to be evil after all he did hurt people and did bad things. His mom thought that he was good but now she is dead. Dean Winchester knew the truth Jack Kline is evil.

Tears then ran down his face. "Aunt Eden... I know my core." Said Jack Kline. "Is that so?" Replied Eden as she appeared right behind him. "I am evil." Said Jack Kline as Eden just laughed to herself. "Oh, Jackie... Give me your hand... I want to show you something." Replied Eden and they were then someone else.

They were in a dark pit and the ground was covered in blood. The air smelled like burning flesh and blood. In the middle of it all stood a woman covered in blood. "Aunt Eden... Who is that?" Said Jack Kline.

"Her name was Lilith... she was the first demon. Born out of anger and pain. Lilith loves pain and loves hurting people. She wants the world to burn for no reason but to hear the screams. Her core is being evil.." Said Eden and Jack looked at the burning people and Lilith. Then the scene went away and they were in the bunker.

"No offense Jack but you are not like Lilith... you're core isn't evil. You know how I know?" Said Eden and Jack shook his head no. "Because when you looked at what she did you didn't smile... You know your past sins were just that... sins. You understand right and wrong. You feel horrible about what you did and that means no matter what you have good in you." Said Eden.

"Then what is my core?" Replied Jack Kline but Eden just disappeared.

(Time skip.)

Jack Kline threw the pencil across the room in frustration. Eden wanted him to find his core but Jack didn't know what it was.

Jack then stopped for a moment. He hurts people whenever he is afraid and could open the gate way for Asmodeus because he said that God wanted him to. And Jack stood up to Asmodeus for hurting the Winchester brothers. Jack could only use his powers when he was protecting himself, or the ones that he loved.

Eden said that Jack Kline was like her... And she was right.

Jack's core was protection.

Jack then smiled to himself and moved the pencil around with his mind.
