Chapter 6

In my room after both Han Sen and Han Yufei found out about the pregnancy.

It look a little longer to get into a meditative state of mind due to being excited at the news of having a little sister.After spending two hours training I went to the kitchen to check on dinner and saw a couple boxes of pizza on the counter.

Jaden: 'I guess they got it to celebrate or because Mother wanted it.'

Going to the living room where I heard my families voice with a couple slices of pizza on a paper plate and after entering I heard them talking about names for a little girl then Father suggested Han Yan to which which made the other two stop and think for a second. To break the contemplative atmosphere I spoke up.

Jaden: "I think that's a good name."

I knew with the fact Mother had stopped in thought she must've thought it rolled off the tongue well and would suit a little version of herself so she nodded in responce to what I said about it being a good name, otherwise if it wasn't she would say just how horrible she thought it was no matter the damage it brought the person that came up with the idea even her son who was sitting with a blank stare on the side probably had his name idea trashed badly.

Han Yufei: "Hey, what about my compliment, it was my idea after all."

Luo SuLan: It's your responsibility to do everything you can for our daughter and me since you caused this though I'm now angry because it's a girl but if it was another boy I would never let you sleep in the same bed as me much less a good morning kiss."

She spoke in a warning tone.

Gulp! He lowered his head and stopped talking before he steeped on a land mine.

Jade: "Do you want me do check on her health with my dojutsu or are you just going to go to the hospital and have them check with there machines?"

Luo SuLan; "Hmm,Whats the difference in the two and accuracy of the information from the two."

Jaden: "You can do both and since its your unborn daughter you probably would've done so anyways. My dojutsu will allow me to see her life force and depending on the strength and flow of it, it will allow me to make at least a 98% accurate diagnosis, and allow me to identify if there are or will be any health problems during the pregnancy and up till 16 years old. Reliable until when she enters God Sanctuary where she can get poisoned and other undiscovered problems and sicknesses or something from somewhere else in the future."

Luo SuLan: "Well hurry up with it then, what are you waiting for are you trying to suffer long time anxiety."

Jaden: "Ha,just stand up straight so I can see your whole body."

Mother who was already in Second God's Sanctuary with stronger senses felt the change in my aura and the atmosphere of the room and slightly rose her guard before noticing it was her son's aura that changed and when he looked at her, with those magenta pink eyes that had a circle in them with one tomoe on the circle in each eye she felt like he could see through her and learn all her secrets with just a glance, and it made her shudder thinking if an enemy had a similar ability it'd be troublesome to deal with though his ability right now didn't make her feel a dangerous feeling she knew it had a few other abilities it would grant when fully matured,but she threw such thoughts away knowing he was the only one in the world with his abilities.

Luo SuLan: "So what do you see is everything fine?"

She may be mischief and may seem to always be light-hearted about everything that was only when things were easy to solve or can be solved without the need to get serious,But when its about her family and especially her children she was always serious and worried for them.

Jaden: "Everything's fine it looks like she'll be perfectly healthy, her life force is strong and its flow is calm and peaceful with no turmoil."

Just looking at the strong and calm flow of her life force and her curled up figure brought my a peaceful feeling to my heart,but it also placed a weight on my shoulders to make sure she was always healthy, happy, and safe.

Phew! Mother released a sigh of relief,but everyone acted as if we didn't hear it because we knew it'd make her snap at us in embarrassment.

Deactivating my dojutsu, it made me realize I could learn the Geno-Arts of others it, I realized later on after awakening my Sharingan Byakugan mix that it was kind of stupid cause people didn't have chakra and that since I couldn't copy ninjutsu but after looking at mother I realized I could see the flow of a person's Geno-Arts so I could copy them and learn them due to the combination of the two dojutsu bloodlines I don't know if this was luck or if the goddess made it like that but it didn't matter anyways it was a good ability especially since you needed to use the same energy circulation method as super creatures to absorb super genes.

It wasn't just Mother that was happy due to the good news it was Father and us two brothers as well which was easy to see just by looking at our expressions.

Luo SuLan: " Alright honey lets go ahead go and get the doctor's check-up out of the way so you don't have to miss another day of work."

Knowing this could go in a bed direction like her dragging us along and having to sit in the hospital room for hours.

Jaden: "Mother, Han Sen and I still have some homework we need to complete, and you know how hard I work. No matter how even if its easy I take it seriously because I absolutely don't want want a teacher to have an excuse to mark something wrong on my papers saying that I made a mistake, putting a blemish on my perfect grades in school."

Luo SuLan: "Oh, OK just make sure that the both of ya'll brush your teeth and shower before going bed, lets hurry up and go honey so we can get back as soon as possible I don' want to be up there all night."

Father knew he lost and couldn't do anything but follow her.He looked over at his oldest and noticed him releasing a sigh of relief at getting out of going and I remembered no matter what homework he'd have before he completed in school.He knew he'd mastered the way of dealing with some of his mother's antics at least the ones that had an escape route unlike the set in stone serious situations.

Ten months later.

Han Yan has already been born and there were no complications during the pregnancy.Now we have a newborn in the house and Han Sen and I used some of our allowance or ear plugs because little sis can hit some high notes and she loves to perform for the family even in the middle of the night. We both were happy we didn't have to change diapers we did feed her and play after school because she was our cute little sister after all. We saw it all the struggle you can measure it in the amount and darkness of their eye bags.

Two months later.

Little Han Yan is three months old now, Han Sen is eleven, while I'm a few moths away from being twelve.Ring,ring,ring the house phone was ringing which is rare since everyone is usually given a comlink with parental settings activated at the age of six, making my way to the phone since Mother and Han Yan were at the grocery store with Han Sen hanging out at a friend's house and i'm the only one of us home straight after school,picking up the phone I hear.

"Hello is this the Sen residence this is officer Johnson and we need you to come into the police station to identify of a presumed Han Yufei I'm sorry for your loss."

I went to the station without telling Mother or Han Sen to make it easier on them so that after hearing the bad news they wont have to leave the house and can grieve without having to hold it together momentarily like I had to do but that was my responsibility as the big brother and oldest son. I would do anything to make this easier for them, or any troubles that came up in the future.

At the police station.

Walking up to the front desk I tell the officer that was sitting there that I was here to identify the body of Han Yufei he was surprised that I was so young but he quickly took me to an office saying it was a space ship accident and that it was on video. I sat there and asked to watch it alone and he said yes, left the office and shut the door behind himself.

Watching the video I saw that the camera captured everything perfectly and that it was the other person that was obviously unconscious in the driver seat and he ran the red light crashing straight into the driver side right into him followed by an explosion that gave no one any time to eject from their space ship before the explosion killing the unconscious man,father, and three bystanders that were walking on the ground below when shrapnel from the explosion flew everywhere and some metal pieces pierced their bodies, the crash also injured five other bystanders that would be fine after some surgeries and rehabilitation.

I watched the video three times and saw that it was definitely Dad and that there was no way for him to have survived, giving me nothing bed news to tell Mother when I got back home.

The officer came back into the room and gave me a cup of water and asked if it was Han Yufei and if Dad had any enemies to which I answered it was indeed Han Yufei and that he only had a few business rivals but none that I though would kill him.After the questions he paid for a hover car taxi for me to get home.

Arriving home I saw that Mother was in the driveway bringing groceries into the house while brother was also there helping. I get out of the taxi and they were only a little surprised since I usually save all of my money, I walk over and start helping bring groceries in without talking about where I was until the groceries have already been put up and we've eaten supper, however this time I didn't even try because I knew I wouldn't be able to enter a meditative state.

After eating Mother was going to get up to call father to see when he was going to be home but I stopped her and said I need everyone to sit back down because I had something to tell everyone and the mood of the room got extremely serious immediately.They could tell it was important and that it was bed news because I didn't have my usual cheeky expression which made them realize I hadn't shown any good emotions since I exited the taxi.

Jaden: "I've got some bad news to tell ya'll, I got a call from the police station when I got home from school and they asked me to come up to the station, so I did and they had me watch this video that was from a red light, and it was of an unconscious man in a space ship crashing into another spaceship which was fathers' he wasn't able to eject before the spaceships exploded neither of the two survived with three bystanders dead and five injured, I'm sorry mom I didn't want you to have to make the identification at the station and go through that,and didn't know how to bring it up so I waited till everyone ate otherwise no one would have an appetite to eat like me but I still had to eat so you guys would."

Luo SuLan"This ca't be true it can't be."

Mother fainted and both Han Sen and little Yan broke down crying.I caught Mother before she hit the floor and put her in little Yan's room on the twin sized mattress that was for when little Yan was older with little Yan who was crying because everyone else was until she fell asleep placed into her crib. Han Sen was asleep too I had to stay with him in his room on his king sized bed and sleep there for the night which didn't bother me any.
