Chapter 4

'Ugh, Where an I? What happened, did she leave or will she be there next to me when I open my eyes? Wait, did someone see what I did with my wood style,will I become patient zero a lab rat like the fake background I created?'

'Darn it, I was too rash and in my anxiousness wanted to lay it bear for her to see, all of the insecurities, desire for her to adopt me, and all the other emotions that I was feeling without holding anything back. I wanted my heart to reach out and connect with hers.'

'I probably couldn't repeat what I'd done before with lotus, it was like my strong emotions and desire was pushing each other and in that moment my will power spiked making a breakthrough allowing me to ignore the limitations placed on me by my ability and body which didn't reach the requirements to succeed in creating that white lotus. I have no regrets showing both my ability and heart to her and I would do it all again if i had the to do the hole situation to do again.'

"Why don't you open your eyes instead of being anxious and worrying about thing in your thoughts. You'll get no answers without gathering information from what you see,hear,asking, and concluding from many small pieces of info to see the big picture. Had you opened your eyes first instead of worrying you would've had the answers to all your questions already, plus all that worrying will give you wrinkles in your old age in the future."Luo SuLan spoke up seeing his fore head creasing in worry it was just so easy to read him he wears his thoughts and emotions on his sleeve with no intention to hide it from me in the first place.

My eyes snapped open fast enough it could've rivaled the speed of an assassins' hands.

Looking around the first thing I noticed was that I was in the backseat of a Lamborghini hover car, and I was sitting diagonally across from the most beautiful women I've ever laid eyes on,and the aura she subconsciously released made me think this is what empresses of ancient times were like.

Luo SuLan after stopping at a red light glanced over her shoulder to observe the kid that just became her son that was in the backseat,and saw that all of his emotions and thoughts were clearly visible in those pure and clear blue eyes of his.Looking into his eyes that were looking back into mine I could make out the love a child felt for his mother, me and I could also see his pure admiration for my beauty ,which made me smile thinking the kid had good taste. The most surprising thing to me was that he was placing all of his trust in me and it was like a child that looked op to a superhero that couldn't do wrong but I'd done nothing impressive or even remotely worth it, but I knew I would do everything I could to live up to his expectations.

I'd already started seeing him as my own son just as much as Han Sen, from the moment those blue eyes looked into my eyes there at the orphanage, those blue eyes that were full of anxiousness and had tears threatening to fall at any second. However the attack that struck true that let him truly make way into my heart was the moment when while starring me in the eye he grew me a white lotus from his palm,and it was then that I was absolutely sure without a second of hesitation that I wanted to adopt him and make him my son.If there was was anybody else that saw what he did especially someone ambitious or very military minded they would put him in the hands of someone that can bring them benefits and finding out how he's able to do what he does including the limits of his ability, him showing to me was him placing all of his trust, and even his life in my hands.

"Let's go ahead and do introductions to get to know one another better,we can tell each other a little about ourselves to improve our relationship, and so your not walking into a foreign place as a tourist. We can get the hundred questions about everything out of the way now that we still have a little more than a hour before were home since you've already been asleep for a hour now from making me that beautiful white lotus." Luo SuLan suggested.

Jaden:"That's perfect we can take turns going back and forth between each other telling the other about ourselves and asking any questions we have for the other,and I'm glad you liked the lotus I'd tried to make a rose once before but failed this time though I put everything I had,all my energy and emotions fueling its creation to show how much I wanted you to be my mother."

Jaden noticed Luo SuLan wearing the white lotus in her beautiful silky black hair as a hair accessory.

Luo SuLan:"That sounds like a good idea and it'll make the exchange of back and forth questions and answers more interesting, however we get three passes like a reverse card in the Uno card game but after a person plays their reverse card the other person can't reverse it back. Everyone's got their secrets that need the perfect time,and right situation for it be a good time to speak about it," and showed a smile that contained, a rich young ladies mischief.

Jaden:"All right ladies first."

Luo SuLan:"Hahaha, my little gentleman, alright then lets start with a simple but important question whats your name?"

Jaden:"Alright I'll answer your question then ask the same question with an added part to it, My name is Jaden Senju, so now same question but I also want to know if I can start calling you mother or is it too early?"

She was caught off guard with that question and widened her eyes is shock,and for some reason I felt a little proud accomplishing that it seemed she was caught off guard very often.I chuckled a little at her shocked expression which caused her to pout a little.

Luo SuLan:"Humph! I guess you got a cocky side to you as well,not that I don't like that little cheekiness. My name is Luo SuLan and yes you can call me mother," she saw through the rear view mirror that he had tears in the corner of his eyes but when he caught her watching him tear up he quickly wiped them away with the back of his arm, "now then my second question what is your goals and dreams?"

Jaden: Beating his fist on his chest,"I want to be the most reliable and dependable man I can be to my family and future wife," Being extremely serious.

Jaden's serious statement was followed by a beautiful laugh from Luo SuLan, making the bright light in Jaden's eyes dim a little.

Luo SuLan: "Sorry ,sorry I didn't mean to laugh,and i wasn't laughing at your dream but at how you said future wife to suddenly be taking about that at three and a half years old," Hahaha, "sorry I started to think about it again go ahead its your turn to ask a question."

Jaden:"Alright,instead of a question I'll tell you a little about myself, I have the ability to create and manipulate vegetation,water,earth,lightning, and wood I can turn into a giant sand tanuki which can manipulate sand,metal,wind, and gold, I can also transform into a Water Dragon I can manipulate my bones and use them as weapons, I can also inject some of my energy into ink and create different effects based on what i draw. I have a special bloodline that hasn't awakened yet, then finally I know three Geno-Arts that for some reason I can't teach to others and when I try to no sound comes from my mouth.

Now all that really shocked her she nearly swerved into another lane,not expecting jumping right into his ability, and most definitely not expecting more than the one he already showed.

Luo SuLan:"Never say this to another person or use your abilities in front of anyone unless you can place your life in their hands especially not before you are strong enough,right now you have unlimited potential but that's it no power of your own, don't even tell my husband because even though he's a good man when he drinks with his employees he can't keep a secret when he gets drunk, its one of his flaws."

Jaden: "I understand your the only person I tell and promise not to to someone else without your approval,and Mother its your turn."

Luo SuLan:"I'll go ahead and say something about my self too, I have a husband and a son at home and I wanted my son to have a best friend that he could trust 100% and go to the sanctuaries together with to watch each others back and become fine men together,and I wanted some laughter and joy at the house since most of the day my husband's at his company working,and left that orphanage with another son,"she said with a dazzling smile.

I ended up just sitting there in silence for a while.

Jaden:"Am I the little or older brother?"

It's the only question I could even after sitting there for fifth-teen minutes in silence.

Luo SuLan: "Older by six months from what I saw on the adoption papers. If you want to be known as the reliable big brother watch over him when you can in God's Sanctuary if ya'll end up in the same shelter don't help him with everything just things he can't handle alone or things that could harm his life and you could lean on him too once he reaches a strength that's able to bear the weight of more than just himself."

The rest of the ride was mostly in silence with basic questions like birth days and favorite color just stuff like that, 20 minutes later they pulled up in front of the old house it was a cozy small sized mansion. Then they opened the car doors to cross the threshold and go into their home when reaching for the doorknob the door opened by itself with a little kid the same height as Jaden starring him in the eye while Jaden did the same sizing each other up.

This small exchange caused Luo SuLan to chuckle from how cute the two boys were being, but that just made both boys break their little stare down with Han Sen pouting and causing Jaden's eye to twitch.
