Part 47

Third Person POV

After school, Justen went home and after a very calm conversation with his dad, Justen was able to see Josh. With a smile, Justen got on his bike and rode to his and Josh's special spot.

Josh, on the other hand, went straight to his and Justen's special spot because he just couldn't wait to see Justen again. As soon as Josh saw Justen, he got up from where he was sitting and ran to hug Justen. Justen smiled and hugged Josh back.

"Couldn't wait to see me again?" Justen asked with a smirk.

"What can I say? I can't get enough of you," Josh smiled.

"Okay, usually when people are this nice they want something," Justen said. "What do you want?"

"Can we go out?" Josh asked.

"Like on a date?" Justen asked.

"Yeah, a restaurant date," Josh said.

"Didn't we do that before?" Justen asked.

"But last time we got the shit beat out of us," Josh said.

"Yeah," Justen said.

"This time I promise we'll be safe," Josh said. "If you agree to this, we're going out of town for our date."

"Well then I agree," Justen said.

"You're not going to ask your dad about this?" Josh asked.

"I probably should," Justen sighed, grabbing his phone out of his pocket.

Justen dialed his dad's number into his phone and put it up to his ear as it rang.

"Hello?" Justen's dad asked, answering the phone.

"Hi, dad," Justen said. "Josh and I were thinking about going out of town, can we?"

"Sure, I don't see why not. But don't stay out too long," Justen's dad said.

"So I have a curfew?" Justen asked.

"What time do you think you'll be back?" Justen's dad asked.

"Maybe around 11:30," Justen said.

"So you'll be home around 11:30 at night?" Justen's dad asked.

"Yeah," Justen said.

"Okay, I don't see why not," Justen's dad said.

"Thanks," Justen said.

"You're welcome," Justen's dad said.

"Alright, bye," Justen said.

"Bye," Justen's dad said before both he and Justen hung up in unison.

"So, can you go?" Josh asked.

"Yeah," Justen said. "I just have to be home by 11:30 tonight."

"Sounds good to me," Josh said.

"Alright, where are we going?" Justen asked.

"It's a surprise," Josh said.

"So, you're just going to take me somewhere without telling me?" Justen asked.

Josh nodded.

"Isn't that like kidnapping?" Justen asked.

"Uhhh.... Is it still technically kidnapping if we're both kids?" Josh asked.

"That is an excellent point," Justen said.

"Alright, get in the truck," Josh said.

"Wait, I thought you said you weren't kidnapping me," Justen said.

"Fine, I'm kidnapping you," Josh said, rolling his eyes. "Now get in the truck so we can go on an official date."

"Only for you," Justen winked before getting into the passenger seat of the truck.
