After School

Yuki walked home with Ray she was usually home alone since her mother had died and her father mostly worked. They opened the door then went inside. He sat her down then asked "How are you feeling?" Yuki looks at him "A little sore but I'll be fine...."

"Is there anything I can do to help? Just say the word and it's done." Ray asked. Yuki smiles "I'm fine" she responded as she kissed his cheek. Ray blushed "What was that for? Not that I'm complaining or anything." He said as a smile appeared on his face. She smiles "because you're cute and we're dating."

"You think so? Thanks." He said then laughed a little. Ray's tone shifts to a serious one "Yuki, starting tomorrow things are going to be different between us." He stated. She looks at him "if you mean we're going to be nice to each other because we're dating then I know." Yuki stated. "But I would have still wanted to treat you better even if we weren't dating that was the reason I entered the Music Room to see you." He said. Yuki replied with "Okay."

"So where do we go from here? I did all the things I said I would." He asks. She smiles "we date and stay close." Yuki stated. "I like that idea. I should be going now, you probably have stuff you need to do." He says then starts to walk to the door but for some reason leaving Yuki alone just doesn't feel right. She didn't understand why he was leaving but she guessed he had stuff to do "you can stay if you want."

"Alright, I will." he replied as he walked back to where she was. "Are you here alone every night?" He asked. "my mom passed away when I was little and my dad works a lot so I'm usually home alone...." Yuki said.

"I'm sorry about your mother. Don't you get lonely being here all by yourself?" Ray asked. She nods "sometimes I do but I have my pet cat...." Yuki answered. "Pets are a good way to ease loneliness. I don't like the idea of you being here without anyone else in the house so how about I come over after school and keep you company?" He asks. "ok" she replied

"Good, I have think about your safety, I do worry about you." He stated. "I know" Yuki stated. "So what should we do now?" He asked as he looks at her for an answer. She smiles "just rest" Yuki stated."Okay, then." He replied. "Would you like me to help you up the stairs or should we stay here?" He asked. She looks at him "I guess we can go upstairs..." He stood her up, wrapped his hand, Yuki's waist to support her then walked up the stairs. She blushes and walks upstairs with him.

He puts her on the bed "You should get some rest, Yuki." Ray advised. He notices a particular bruise, gently lifted her hand then said in a soft voice "They really hated you didn't they?" She looks at him "It's fine Ray...." Ray speaks up "You've been enduring this for so long, if I had told the truth sooner maybe this wouldn't have happened." He said as he rubbed her bruise slowly with his fingers. Yuki looks at him "I'm fine Ray it was just a little scuffle...." Yuki stated.
