Chapter 2: Snow Eagle City

After spending entire noon completing tasks given by Murong Zhu Qin Chen got back home late at night. Her mother was waiting for his return.

"Mom why are you sitting here at this time" Asked Qin Chen.

"Nothing! I just wanted to have dinner with you. After you condense your martial soul tomorrow, I don't know I you'll be willing to eat with me" Qin Chen's mother teased him.

"Mom, I've told you already that I'm practicing so that I can protect you and avenge dad." said Qin Chen.

"Oh, Chen'er you should forget about avenging your father and live your life happily." said her mom.

Qin Chen changed the topic by discussing Tang Min, "Mom did you know grandpa is going to gift that Tang Min a piece of Midnight Moon Gold, when I condense my martial spirit, I'll see what that old foggy is going to me."

"Chen'er he is grandpa you should respect him" scolded Murong Bing." And where did you hear this term from."

Qin Chen replied hastily, "Big brother Zhu was addressing grandpa as old fogey."

Qin Chen slyly transferred all blame onto Murong Zhu.

When sun came out completely, he stopped his practice earlier than usual. He got back into his room and changed cloth after a quick bath because of sweat and sat on dining table in living room.

"Here Chen'er I have made pancakes for you today, but you have to get honey from cabinet."

Qin Chen got up and brought up a bottle of honey from kitchen cabinet.

After breakfast Qin Chen and her mother locked the house and departed to Murong Manor.

Qin Chen and his mother was not living with qin family because there was no Qin family in spirit ascension continent. His father was an orphan and his mother had saved his life once, due to which they fell in love and got married. When Qin Chen was 2 years old his father's enemies found him and chased him until ancient spirit forest and killed him brutally. They dug his heart out and sucked all of his blood out. Obviously, Qin Chen didn't know the last part.

At that time her mother was at the peak of rebirth realm but due to grief failed in 3-3 tribulation lightning, which crippled her mother's martial spirit. After this incident even Murong family also started making distance with this godforsaken Mother-Son duo. There were only three people in whole Murong family who cared for Qin Chen and his mother, they were his third uncle and his son Murong Zu and Murong Zhu respectively.

Although Qin family patriarch Murong Yun still cared for her daughter but his attitude toward Qin Chen was colder than 10,000-year-old ice.

As they got close to Murong mansion they heard a mocking voice "Ho-Ho Isn't that big brother Zhu's servant, what is he doing here."

This was Qin Chen's second uncle's daughter Murong He,

"He'er don't be rude, that's your 5th aunt's son means your brother. Say sorry." Her father means Qin Chen's uncle reprimanded her but even a deaf person could hear his gloating from his voice.

"But what did I said wrong he isn't a part of Murong family so if he works at Murong workshop he should be a servant."

"Sorry little Bing He'er had always been strong headed. I've let you see something disgraceful." Said second uncle to Murong Bing as he snickered inwardly.

At this time there were almost 25 people amongst which five were Qin Chen, Murong He, Murong Shu, Murong Jin and Zhou Ping. Amongst these children Qin Chen have friendship with Zhou Ping, as their mothers were sisters, and both were orphans, so they shared a strong brotherly bond.

At this time a slim but not weak man about 50 to 60 years of age came out of the mansion and said, "Is everyone ready we will leave in five minutes now board the flying bus."

As soon as everyone got on the bus, they started their journey toward Snow Eagle City.

In spirit ascension continent there were twelve main cities and Snow Eagle City. It was named as snow Eagle City because one of the earliest martial emperor's martial spirit was snow eagle.

It was rumored that its royal family have bloodline was a cross between snow phoenix and Lightning Eagle, so it has both lightning and snow element.

We got distracted again. Now we were at twelve big cities, these twelve cities are also called big cities because they have Heavenly Mountain Projection. This heavenly mountain was said to be came from outer space.

Before it came this Kunlun planet was also known as EARTH a planet for mortals where technology ruled. But 10,000 years ago, in 21st century a meteorite Pierced earth like a nail, Due to which whole earth was destroyed because of a massive earthquake. Continents collided and now there only remained two continents spirit ascension continent and fairy continent.

After everything settled downed heavenly mountain projected 24 identical images and disappeared from everyone's sight. Out of these 12 were on Spirit Ascension Continent and 12 were on fairy continent. Humans made cities around these projections, and this is how 12 big cities came into being.

After eruption of Spiritual Energy these cities became holy grounds and humans condensed martial spirits to practice martial arts.

As they got close to snow eagle city, they could see a huge mountain piercing through heaven white as snow. Around it a city was established like ripples through in circles. And in the center in heart of the mountain stood a six-sided six storied pagoda known as Six Dao pagoda. Where they will worship the heavenly mountain and condense their martial spirit.

As everyone saw Heavenly Mountain, they could feel suppression not in body but soul. But when Qin Chen saw Heavenly Mountain, he felt something else like he had seen someone of his kin. Unknowingly his eyes became misty.

"Chen'er what happened why are you crying" As Murong Bing saw her son's red eyes she asked worryingly.

Murong He taunted, "Obviously he is afraid, Quickly, check if he had pissed his pants, Hahahaha" everyone except patriarch, Qin Chen's aunt and Zhou Ping laughed.

"Now stop chit chat and go to Six Dao Pagoda we don't have enough money to stay in the city or whole night." said patriarch.

Slowly everyone made their way toward Heavenly Mountain projection. But only children which were going for worship can enter Heavenly Mount projection. So, everyone stayed outside while children made their way toward Six Dao Pagoda.

As Qin Chen entered the projection something unexpected happened.

Weng!

Ground shook abruptly and heavenly mountain projection lit up.
