Chapter 10: Timeless Sword

Qin Chen's expression remained nonchalant. He didn't answered Evan and passed by his side toward his seat.

Seeing Qin Chen's nonchalant attitude Evan raged, "Qin Chen do you really think you are a genius. As far as I know no one knows about your Martial Spirit and bloodline it can be a s#it of a Martial soul and bloodline."

"Whatever" Qin Chen spat a single word and sat down on his seat without even looking at Evan.

Evan was fuming with rage but suddenly he smiled sinisterly and thought, 'be as smug as you can be, today is teacher liang's lecture I'll see how you can remain in class one.'

At left side of his seat was Da Qian's seat while on his right was a cute girl with blue-pink hair and two ponytails.

After sitting on his seat Qin Chen asked Da Qian about five freaks, but Da Qian shushed him and didn't answer.

At this moment student in front and chuckled, "today is Professor Liang Wuying's lecture that's why he is not answering. You should be careful and don't talk during lecture otherwise, you will know."

Who could it be if not Peng Rong.

At this moment a 25-year-old woman entered the classroom. She had black hair tied in a bun with the help of a golden hair pin which had a purple crystal at the end, gilded black dress.

As she was passing by Qin Chen she glanced at Qin Chen from side of his eyes, it caused chill to run down his spine.

This was their homeroom teacher Liang Wuying. Professor Liang made his way to stage and stood behind podium.

"I see a new face today, introduce yourself." Asked professor Liang.

Qin Chen stood up and replied respect carefully, "My name is Qin Chen, I am from cold crystal town under snow eagle city. I don't know what my martial spirit is. It appears as a round green crystal."

As Qin Chen sat down after answering Evan stood up and bowed toward Professor Liang, "Professor I think it is not appropriate to let someone enter in our academy who doesn't care about its rules. I think it's not fair or us students who entered academy with much difficulty and this Qin Chen woke three months late and entered academy with just his talent. Even if his talent was great, he can apply next year."

Professor Liang glanced at him calmly and then at everyone else.

No one answered.

Professor Liang stated calmly, "Academy is not obliged to answer this question, do any of you think that academy will do anything unfair or do any of you think that they can do better than twenty-four emperors. Hmph I will say this for one and only time if anyone spread rumors after this, I will expel him or her from academy."

After a moment she asked, "Evan tell us what the highest score is, someone got in Kunlun academy's admission assessment."

Evan replied with respect, "83pointes earned by Zhou Ping."

Professor Zhou said calmly, "Qin Chen got 98 points. And he had purple spiritual root so even if his martial spirit and bloodline was king grade, you can imagine spiritual pressure. On top of that to make everything fair he didn't get anything for breaking Zhou Ping's record."

Then she turned toward Zhou Ping, "Zhou Ping tell us what your reward for breaking record was."

Zhou Ping was sitting in the first row, He stood up and replied, "My reward was that I can choose anything from Kunlun's treasury."

Everyone was astonished when they heard this.

"Now sit down everyone. Today I will take a quiz and see how everyone is doing in their studies."

"Li Dong Min, tell us how many types of martial spirits there can be." Asked professor Liang a chubby cute guy with black hairs.

Dong Min stood up and said, "Martial spirits can be divided based on its attribute or its form. If we are looking at form we can divide it into three types, Beast Spirits like ancestor blood dragon's blood dragon, Tool Spirits like my Seven String Zither or elemental spirits like sister Zeng Ning's Thunder spirit."

Professor liang nodded and said, "Ok sit down. Long Ning tell us how martial artist are divided."

Girl beside Qin Chen stood up and answered, "Martial artist can be divided in Spirit Cultivators, Body Cultivators and Soul Cultivators. Most Cultivators choose Spirit Cultivation because body and soul cultivation have very strict requirements."

Professor liang asked another student with blue hair, "Wu Yang tell us about cultivation realms."

She stood up and answered, "Cultivation realms are classified as Body Training, Spirit Sea Opening, Soul Formation, Heavenly Cocoon, Rebirth, Core Formation, Martial King and Martial Emperor. Other than this there is Ascension, but it is not a cultivation realm but a transitionary phase when someone is preparing to Ascend."

Then professor Liang asked a lanky youth with brown hair and pointy ears, "Fredrick tell us about how martial spirits and artifact levels are classified."

Fredrik stood up and answered, "Martial spirits are divided from low to high as one to nine and then there are general grade, king grade and emperor grade martial spirits. There are also unique martial spirits which no one has seen before. As for artifacts they are same as pills, from low to high: Beginner, yellow, black, spirit, profound, earth, heaven, king, emperor, half-step divine artifacts and the legendary divine artifacts."

Professor liang looked toward Da Qian and asked, "Da Qian tell us about Spirit professions."

Da Qian stood up with difficulty and as he stood his flesh jiggled, "Professor, there are many spirit professions, but main professions are Alchemy masters, Herb farmers, artifact refiners, blacksmiths it can be said to be branch of weapon refinement, formation master, Rune masters and most importantly Robbers, ah! I mean martial artists." His tongue slipped at the last of the sentence.

Professor Liang asked again, "So tell us Da Qian tell us what profession you will choose a secondary profession or a robber I mean a pure martial artist."

Da Qian didn't say anything, he stood at his place like a wooden chicken with beads of sweat appearing on his head.

"Da Qian run 30 rounds around teaching plaza after class. Now we will start today's class." Professor Liang said.

Da Qian was on verge of crying, but no one dared to laugh in presence of Professor Liang.

For the next three hours Professor Liang introduced rare spirit herbs. According to Professor Liang when we are outside in the world, we won't always have pills to treat injuries or other things, everyone should know about spirit herbs and plants so they can find something for that specific occasion.

After class ended Professor Liang asked Qin Chen to follow her to her office. Qin Chen obediently followed after Professor Liang.

Professor Liang's office was on seventh floor. When he entered the office, he was stunned silly. A cold woman like Professor liang had her office walls painted in pastel pink color. But he quickly regained his senses. Other than wall color furniture was very simple, an office chair ad desk with lamp and couple of documents, a sofa set and glass table with a couple of side tables alongside walls with vase and flowers on it. Sunlight was pouring through window and wind was blowing curtains with it. Only thing that attracted Qin Chen's attention was cupboard behind office chair, it contained different things in glass covers, there were some strange crystals, rust covered artifacts and bones and nails of beasts. In rust covered artifacts there was a broken sword, clear like glass with starlight flowing through it.
