Mona stared at the Grand Duke's eyes and found sincerity in them.
She was delighted, seeing how the man wanted to know more about her, but at the same time, she was uncertain of what to tell him. She was unsure of where to start, or what to share. Her life as Monarki wasn't that entertaining or admirable. In fact, it may sound disappointing to a listener.
Perhaps her hesitation was visible on her face, and Kyden looked away and spoke reassuringly, "It's fine if you don't feel like sharing them."
Shaking her head, she answered, "It's not like that. It's just that... I wasn't sure where to start..."
"Name."
She met his eyes and found them staring at her once again.
"You can start by telling me your name, your family, your friends....and so on." He wiggled his eyebrows showing his eagerness to listen.
Mona chuckled, the Grand Duke's action cleared her mind and washed away her insecurity and anxiousness.
