You walked out of the school putting the note back into your bag and began to look for Roxas, Cloud, and Tifa. Roxas was sitting on one of the school benches so you made your way towards him.

“Where did Cloud and Tifa go?” You asked.

He stood up, “They had to go to Seventh Heaven for something. The summer opening is coming pretty soon and everything has to be perfect.”

You nodded and the both of you began to walk in the direction of the mall. It was silent for a moment before you cut through it with a question.

“So what’s wrong with Ven?”

Roxas sighed and glanced over at you. He then looked back to the ground and back up again. He let out a small forced chuckled.

“Where to start?” Roxas scratched the back of his head than began, “Almost a year ago our mom and little sister Marlene died.”

You covered your mouth to stifle a gasp. You didn't know Marlene was their sister and you definitely didn't know she died along with their mother.

“I'm so sorry Roxas.” You mumbled moving your hand.

He forced a sad smile, “It’s OK. What happened was my mom had to go pick something up at work real fast and I was at Hayner’s house. My mom told Cloud and Ven they had to watch Marlene while she was away. Cloud had to go to football practice and Ven had baseball practice. Cloud left for football and left Ven alone, and that made Ven pretty pissed off. It was an accident. Ven just wasn’t watching Marlene very well and she ended up falling and hitting the corner of the wall. It cut her forehead, but it wasn’t even that bad. Our mom came home around that time and her and Ven had this huge blowout. She wrapped Marlene’s head up with a towel to stop the bleeding and then took- well…she to take her to the hospital while Ven stayed at home…”

Roxas paused and he stopped walking, “They never made it to the hospital though. The trolley it…I don’t know but it crashed and they-”

He stopped talking. His jaw was clenched and so were his hands. He took in a deep breath and relaxed.

“Ven blames himself. For both of their deaths and so does Cloud. Cloud doesn’t play football anymore because of it. He won’t even play a game of catch [Name], and you don’t know how much he loved playing that sport. He was so good at it too! Neither of them have been the same since that day. Ven is…he’s just gone [Name]. He doesn’t talk to any of his friends anymore, he won’t play baseball either, all he does is hang out with Seifer and his stupid gang!” Roxas yelled then calmed down a bit, “Cloud is starting to get better. Tifa has been helping him a lot, and now he has you too…”

He looked up at you and you could see the absolute pain and grief in his eyes. You reached out and wrapped him into a tight hug. He tensed at first but after a moment he wrapped his arms around you and returned it.

“They’re wrong though. It’s not their fault because it’s mine.” He murmured, “I always was the one who watched Marlene but that day I went to Hayner’s house instead. It’s my fault.”

You pulled away from him to look him in the eyes, “It is not your fault. It’s not Ven’s or Cloud’s either! None of you knew what was going to happen!”

Roxas sighed and gazed down at you, “Cloud says you remind him of an older Marlene. I don’t really see it but…”

You just stood there. He forced a smile and began to walk again with you in tow.

“Come on we need to get to the mall.”

You both arrived at the mall entrance and were stopped by and all too familiar face. He was tall and wore his signature suit and dark sunglasses.

“Hey Rude. I'm going to SkatePro and [Name]”, he pointed at you, “is going to Around the Worlds.”

Rude held out his hand, “Pass?”

Roxas dug through his bag and brought out a laminated mall pass with a picture of him on it. Rude glanced at it then opened the door. You tried to follow Roxas in but Rude stopped you before you could.

“Pass?” He asked again.

“She didn't get one from Larxene yet Rude.” Roxas said coming back.

“No pass, no entrance.” Rude said crossing his arms.

You bit your lower lip and gave Roxas a worried look. Roxas sighed and thought for a moment. He straightened himself than began to walk away.

“Well alright. I'm just gonna go then. I’d hate to be in Larxene’s way when she finds out SOMEBODY didn't let her new employee in for training.” Roxas shrugged.

Rude flinched then turned to you with a sigh, “I’ll let you in this once. Get a pass though.”

You nodded and gave Rude a bright smile before running in. Roxas smiled and you tackled him into a hug. You didn't noticed the blush on his face.

“Thank you! You're a genius Roxas!” You cheered and let him go.

“N-no problem. I umm have to go. I’ll see you later [Name].” He said before walking away.

When you entered Around the Worlds you noticed that it was much more crowded than last time. People were everywhere moving tables, fixing chairs, re-decorating walls, and just putting up finishing touches. You fought your way through the crowd towards the two red heads you saw sitting at the bar.

“Hey guys.” You said smiling at them.

Axel turned to you and gave you a wink, “Hey babe.”

Reno turned with his jaw wide open, “That is so not fair Ax!”

Axel just smirked and shrugged, “All’s fair in war and love. Got it Memorized?”

“It’s Love and War Axel.” You giggled.

“See even [Name] agrees with me.” Axel’s smirk grew.

Axel was wearing a white button down shirt with black formal pants. Reno on the other hand was wearing a pair of baseball pants and a white t-shirt that read ‘HBA All-Stars’.

“What are you dressed for Reno?” You asked curiously.

Reno turned back to you, “I'm going to baseball practice. The one Axel should be going to!”

Axel just shrugged, “I gotta work bro.”

Reno looked at him skeptically, “Since when do you put your job before the team yo?!”

Axel glanced at you for a moment before returning his gaze back to his brother, “Sorry bro. Let me know how many laps you had to run though, OK?”

“Laps?” Reno questioned.

Axel pointed to the clock above Reno’s head, “According to that clock you’re 7 minutes late already.”

Reno’s eyes shot to the clock then he jumped out of his seat grabbing his bat bag in one swift movement, “Freaking… Bye [Name]!”
