Summer Days *38.5*

Cloud struggled against the braces tying his hands and feet to the chair.

"No point Mr. Strife." Xemnas chuckled and sat down besides him in a normal chair.

Cloud ignored him. Just like he was ignoring the dried blood crusted in his hair and on his face from the gash at the top of his head.

"Sephiroth, the TV if you please", Xemnas glanced at Cloud, "And a wet rag."

Sephiroth came in rolling in a TV set. He set it in front of Cloud and Xemnas. Xemnas took the wet cloth that Sephiroth handed and roughly wiped the dried blood away. Cloud flinched.

Cloud had been here three days now.

Three freaking days.

They've been keeping him in a jail cell in a room connected to his . The jail cell besides him had Seifer in it. Go figure. Only a few minutes ago did they decide to tie him to a chair.

"I thought, Mr. Strife, you'd enjoy watching your funeral." Xemnas smiled his cold dead smile.

Cloud froze,

The TV turned on.

Cloud watched as people in black filed into the room. He watched Tifa and you walk in and sit besides Leon.

Watching this was like an arrow in his heart.

We watched his friends get up one by one and say good bye.

To bad he wasn't gone...

He watched Tifa give her speech. She spoke of when they first met. Cloud closed his eyes and let his mind travel back to that day. He was 6 years old and he was mad at his brothers. Ven had messed up his Midgar Spartans football jersey so he stormed out of the house. Little Cloud didnt have much coordination though and in his blind rage he tripped over the curb.

Next thin he knew his head was lying in the lap of the prettiest girl he had seen.

Cloud opened his eyes and saw Tifa was still trying to talk in the front. He looked away as her words became to hard to understand through the tears.

"Why you broke up with Ms. Lockheart I'll never know Mr. Stife. I'll never know...", Xemnas sighed.

Leon was next, he watched painfully as his best friend said his last good bye.

Cloud and Xemnas watched you aproach the stand.

They both noticed how you refused to look at the casket.

"That's not Cloud..." You whispered on the screen. Cloud grinned as Xemnas remained shocked. "Thats not Cloud!"

He watched your face light up.

Cloud thought happily.

"I guess even your lame clone didn't fool her." Cloud bragged.

Xemnas stood, "I guess not...and I'm so curious on why..."

Cloud's smile began to fade away. Xemnas smiled at Cloud, "I think I may pay young [Name] a visit."

"Xemnas!" Cloud yelled as he began to walk away. "Xemnas! I swear if you hurt her I'll kill you! Do you hear me?! I'll freaking kill you!" Cloud roared.

Meanwhile on screen the guys dragged you away.

"Nice to see you again Ms. [Name]..." Sephiroth stood at the doorframe his dark gray aura sending chills down your spine.

You took a step back.

He took a step foward.

In his hand was his long blade from the video game. You gulped, he caught you staring at the sword and lifted it up.

"Dont be scared. I wouldn't dare use it on you... Besides I'm not allowed." He spoke, his voice was smooth and deep but under it all was venom. He began to walk around the room. You kept your eyes locked on him. "Xemnas was specific. I was ordered to bring you back in one peice." He flipped the TV onto the ground with a crash, you could hear the screen break.

"But he did say if you didn't cooperate I was allowed to use force." He was at the couches, he kicked them all over and scattered the magazines onto the ground.

"I bet you're curious to what I'm doing, you see I'm supposed to destroy things here. It sends a message." He waited for a response.

You gave none.

"So here is my offer, come with me now and I won't hurt you. I really rather not harm a ladies' face, especially one as beautiful as yours."

You still didn't respond.

He sighed, "I suggest you take my offer. Rufus doesn't think like I do."

You turned and sprinted up the stairs. You could hear Sephiroth chase after you.

You ran into Cloud's room and clawed at his window. You got it unhooked then climbed out onto the roof overhang. You were standing outside on the roof when you saw Sephiroth follow you out.

You kept going until you reached the end.

"[Name], you're making this harder than it needs to be." Sephiroth sighed coming closer and closer.

You involuntarily took a step back not even thinking of the consequences, your weight shifted and you could feel yourself falling. You closed your eyes tightly expecting the ground. The sound of a gust of wind enveloped your head.

You groaned and slowly peeled your eyes open expecting Sephiroth to pounce on you.

"What the..." You murmered.

You were laying on top of Vexen's desk in his science classroom. The one you stayed in the night of the dance.

You quickly rolled off the desk and began to run out of the classroom.

You were halfway down the hallway when you heard the sound of rushing air, you turned and saw Sephiroth come out of the classroom.

You picked up speed, but you were still wearing the black dress from fake Cloud's funeral so picking up your speed still didn't make you as fast as you needed to be.

Home.

That's where you needed to go. Maybe Cloud had a weapon laying in his room somewhere that you could use.

That'd be helpful.

But how...

You closed your eyes and thought,

The familiar sound of rushing air enveloped your head again. You opened your eyes.

"Oh my..." You held your breath.

You were home.

On earth.

In your old bedroom.

You looked around your stuff remained exactly how you last left it. After you left for Korea your parents were supposed to pack up all your stuff, but after the accident... They must have stopped.

Your video games were set neatly by your TV. Your computer on your desk, your bed neatly made.

A picture of you and your family on top of the bookshelf.

You closed your eyes a tear slid down your cheek.

You thought to yourself,

The sound of rushing wind occurred again. You opened your eyes in hopes that you would be elsewhere. To your surprise you were in the same spot but besides you was Sephiroth.

"Well where are we now I wonder..." He looked around.

You blinked and when you opened your eyes you were standing in the middle of the road leading back towards the academy.

You turned and began to run to the mall.

Even after you got halfway down the road Sephiroth didn't follow, he was no where to be seen.

The sky had began to darken to a shade of red and orange and black clouds began to roll in, in the distance you could hear the ringing of a bell.

You had made it to the strip mall when you saw your friends running in the distance towards the mall's main entrance.

You began to speed up, "Guys! Guy-"

Someone swung out something solid from a corner making contact to your face. You fell backwards, your head hit the concrete sidewalk and everything went black.
