Those words still circled through your head from your day with [BOC] a few days ago. You sighed and picked up your tray.
You were finally back to work and today, with your luck, you were working your least favorite area.
Atlantica.
It used to be one of your favorites until, that is, you got locked in a freezer with the uniform on. Since then the whole Atlantica thing had been taboo.
"Waitress can I have a refill? It's Iced Tea." A man asked, he had a bluish purplish aura around him.
"Yes sir, no problem I'll be right back with that." You gave him a dazzling smile and took his cup, but the minute you turned your smile fell. You just weren't in a smiley mood.
And all the auras weren't helping, you thought they were supposed to go away after awhile but they were still very much there and very much annoying.
You walked through the kitchen's double doors.
"Iced Tea please." You handed the cup to Alexis, a hostess with an orange green aura which turned out to be a really weird color combo. She smiled and took the cup to refill it.
"Hey babe." An oh so familiar voice said.
"Hey Axel." You replied nonchalantly.
He stood next to you in his Olympia soldier uniform and frowned. Axel took off his helmet and held it under his arm. He looked at yo with concern.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"Nothing I'm fine, why?"
He raised one of his eyebrows at you, "Well for one you didn't call me Ax like you normally do, two you aren't smiling ear to ear unknowingly making every guy you look at weak at the knees, and three yo-"
You waved him off, "I didn't ask for a list on why [Name] isn't acting like [Name]. I'm just not in the mood."
His frown deepened and he sincerely looked concerned.
You forced a small smile and sighed, "Im sorry, I've just been a little stressed lately is all. Forgive me Ax?"
His frown faltered but remained present, "Course. Just tell me if you need anything, Got it Memorized?"
At that time Alexis came back with your drink.
"Thanks Alexis, bye Ax." You waved and walked away. You forced a smile on your face hoping to convince him you were fine.
You got to the double doors when the out door opened in towards you, the door failed at knocking you over but they did succeed in making you stumble and spill the iced tea all over yourself.
You just stared at the empty cup and your damp bathing suit, Axel rushed over.
"Hey are you alright?"
You ignored him.
"I need those steaks done now!!" Larxene's voice crackled out.
Larxene had a neon yellow aura, and what you had noticed recently was that yellow aura's meant happy and energetic people. But Larxene had proved that theory way wrong.
She had always been unpleasant to be around but when she found out how you and Leon were such good friends she had really blown her top and out done herself in finding new ways to torture you everyday.
"[Name] what do you think you're doing standing around?! And what is this mess?! I want this cleaned up now [Name]." She yelled with a glare then turned on some poor unexpecting chef who apparently wasn't making her steaks fast enough for her.
"No." You replied.
Axel and the rest of the kitchen froze to stare at you.
That included Larxene.
"Excuse me?" She asked through clenched teeth.
"You heard me, I said no. You're the reason the mess is there", you turned to look her in the eye, "You clean it."
The entire kitchen was now on the edge of their seats waiting to see what would happen next.
Larxene cackled out a laugh, "Who do you think you are? And what exactly are you smoking to make you think you can boss ME around!?"
"I am sick and tired of this, of everything! The way you treat people around here is sick and cruel Larxene. We're people not dogs."
Her mouth fell open, she closed it quickly and jutted her chin out, "Well-"
You cut her off, "Why are you so mean? Do you get a kick out of watching people get hurt?"
"I-"
"You know what, whatever okay? I'm through with this, I quit." You pulled off your name tag and dropped it by her feet.
"Sorry." You apologized mainly to the other workers, then stormed out. You didn't even bother to change or grab your stuff.
You walked out of Around the Worlds and just walked through the mall wearing only a swim top with swim trunks covered in Iced Tea. The only regret you had was that you left everyone else to deal with her rage. That and the poor guy would never get his Iced tea.
You could feel tears building up at the corner of your eyes. You were falling apart, piece by piece. You sat on the edge of the large fountain.
A tear streaked your face but you quickly wiped it away.
A hand rested on your shoulder you jumped and quickly turned.
It was Seifer, of all people why did it have to be him?
"Are you ok?" He asked, he had a tan aura around him.
"I guess...", you calmed down a little, it seemed like he meant well.
He sat down beside you, a little two close for your liking but when you scooted away he came closer.
"Listen, I should get going..." You started.
"So soon?" He asked.
You just nodded and tried to stand but he grabbed your wrist.
"Let go." You tried to wiggle free.
"Just listen for a second alright-"
"Let me go now or I'll scream." You growled, you were well past your breaking point now.
He didn't let go, you took in a deep breath to scream but he pulled you towards him and pressed his mouth to yours.
He forced his lips to mold to yours, you used your free hand to try and push his face away but to no avail.
He pulled you even closer tangling his hand through your hair and keeping his grip on your hand tight.
You fought and fought until you realized all the effort you put into getting away was useless, you never knew Seifer was this strong. Seifer bit your lip hard and you cried out in pain.
