Chapter 2: A Date To Remember!

-

*Rinnngggg...

Calvin groaned as the sound of the alarm woke him up from his slumber. "Ahhh... What's the time?" Calvin mutters and looks at the clock. '3 am... That's way too early... Why did I set the alarm so early.' Calvin thinks while rubbing his eyes. Suddenly Calvin's eyes widen as the realisation hits him. 'Today... Chrisley... Me... Date!' Calvin thinks with a shocked look and quickly rushes into the bathroom for a quick shower.

After showering, Calvin goes downstairs to the kitchen and starts preparing a meal to eat during the date. 'Let's just make some burgers and milkshakes.' Calvin thinks and starts preparing the ingredients for the meal. As Calvin was preparing the meal, he smiled slightly as he thought about Chrisley. 'My first date.' Calvin thinks with a sigh.

Calvin continued preparing the necessary things for the picnic for the next few hours. He didn't realise the time as he was lost in his preparation, and he didn't notice that it was already 10 o'clock. Calvin looks at his wristwatch and glances at the things he did. Nothing too fancy, but at the end of the day, Calvin was satisfied with the result.

'Chill Calvin, stay calm and cool... Take a deep breath... Calm down.' Calvin thinks trying to calm his nerves.

He was wearing a red thin t-shirt and brown shorts. He wore a simple sandal shoe and had his hair slicked back like usual.

"Here goes nothing," Calvin mutters and packs his things. He packed the food in a basket, inside the basket, he kept some forks and plates just in case they needed those things and a picnic mat. 'I guess I am ready.' Calvin exclaims proudly and carries the things to his garage. He passed by a few exotic cars until he reached his destination. Calvin looked at his bike collection and frowned. 'Which one should I ride today?' Calvin looked around his bikes and finally decided to bring his Hayabusa on the date.

Calvin puts a passenger peg on it and puts the mat in the tank bag. He then puts his basket into the right side case and eyes it carefully before he nodded in satisfaction. ''All ready to move," Calvin says and starts his engine. He waited a few seconds to enjoy Hayabusa's engine sound before moving towards Chrisley's house.

The ride was unlike any other. Mainly because Calvin was not used to such an experience, he never went on a date even once in his life so Calvin was pretty nervous. He takes a deep breath to calm his nerves down which seemed to do the trick and he smiled. 'Let's go.'

After riding for half an hour, he finally reached Chrisley's house and saw her standing with Liz beside her, they were standing just outside the gate. Calvin takes a deep breath and stops his bike in front of them. "Hey Chrisley, hey Liz." He greets them with a wave and Chrisley waves back. "Hi!" Chrisley says walking towards him. Calvin gets off his bike and glances at Chrisley.

Since the weather was hot, Chrisley was wearing a white t-shirt and jean shorts. She had her blonde hair in a bun and was wearing sunglasses. She had light lipstick on her lips. Calvin notices Liz walking towards them and looks at her with a smile.

"Woah... Is that your bike?" Liz questions with a marvelled look and Calvin rubs his forehead with a grin. "Yeah... Dad got it for my birthday." Calvin says and Liz nods her head. "I am super jealous Chris... You get to go on a date on that." Liz gushes and Chrisley laughs weakly at that.

Liz then whispers some things into Chrisley's ears and then said. "I'll leave you two alone now. Have fun on your date~" Liz waves and winks at Calvin with a thumbs up. "Ahh... Sure, Liz." Calvin says weakly and bids her. After Liz was out of sight, Chrisley looks at Calvin and starts. "So? Where are we going?" Chrisley questions and Calvin rubs his head. "I was thinking of a picnic," Calvin says and Chrisley adopts an interested look.

"That sounds cool... Where will we go?" Chrisley says with an excited tone making Calvin chuckle. "That's a... Surprise." Calvin says and smirks at her. "Let's get moving," Calvin says and gets into his bike. Chrisley nods and follows him. "You sure this thing is safe right?" Chrisley asks with an unsure tone but Calvin waves her off. "Yeah... Don't worry, I am experienced." Calvin says and Chrisley nods her head with a smile.

Calvin starts the bike and starts heading towards his picnic spot. "Wahh... This is awesome!" Chrisley exclaims enjoying the sensation of the air hitting her. "You like it?" Calvin questions and Chrisley answers, "I love it. It's my first time riding a bike." Chrisley says and Calvin nods his head. "Ohh... Wanna learn how to ride one?" Calvin questions and Chrisley adopts a scared look. "Nahh... I am fine." Chrisley says with a cheeky chuckle and Calvin nods his head. "That's fine..."

"So? Where is the place we are going to?" Chrisley questioned again and Calvin chuckled. "You won't leave me alone until I answer right," Calvin says and sighs. "We are going to the river on the outskirts of the town," Calvin says and Chrisley nods her head. "Ohh... When will we reach?" Chrisley questions and Calvin shrugs his shoulder. "I don't know," Calvin says and Chrisley sweatdrops.

"You know the route though right?" Chrisley questions and Calvin nods his head. "Yeah..." Calvin says and Chrisley smiles. "That's good." The rest of the way, Chrisley and Calvin conversed about random topics.

After riding for a little while longer, they saw the river and Chrisley excitedly pointed at it. "There it is," Chrisley exclaims and brings out her camera and starts taking pictures of the scenery. "Yeah... Let's find a good spot for a picnic." Calvin says and Chrisley nods her head.

"Find it fast." Chrisley commands and Calvin smiles weakly. 'Chrisley seems like the dominating type.' Calvin thinks and chuckles slightly. "What happened?" Chrisley questions after hearing Calvin laugh. "Nothing!" Calvin simply says and Chrisley shrugs her shoulder.

"Hey... That seems like a good spot." Chrisley says pointing towards a tree. It was surrounded by grass and the river was flowing a few yards away from it. "Yeah... That place seems good." Calvin says and parks his bike near the tree. "The first one to the river is the boss," Chrisley said and ran towards the river as soon as she got off the bike.

"Huh? Hey... No... It's not fair." Calvin shouts and starts running after her. "I win... Now I am the boss." Chrisley says with a peace sign making Calvin sigh. "But... But... That's unfair." Calvin reasons but Chrisley ignores him and takes off her shoes and gets into the water. "Wow... It's chilling." Chrisley says and starts walking around.

Calvin smiles and decides to join her and takes off his shoes. He walks into the river and lets the water run over his foot. "Ahh... It's very nice." Calvin says and kicks the water towards Chrisley drenching her. She looks at him with an evil look and says. "Now you've done it." Chisley smirks and splashes a large wave of water at Calvin who tried running away but wasn't able to.

"Hey... I didn't throw such a big wave at you." A drenched Calvin whined. "Take this," Calvin shouts and starts splashing water at her. "Ahhh... You won't win." Chrisley also shouts and starts splashing water back.

The two of them kept playing with the water for a few more minutes before both of them got tired and got out of the river. Both of them lay on the ground and panted while laughing. "We didn't even set the picnic mat," Calvin says and Chrisley nods her head. "Your fault. You started the whole water splash thingy." Chrisley says with a frown. "What? No... You encouraged me by splashing back at me." Calvin defends and Chrisley shrugs her shoulder. "But I am the boss so I am right." Calvin sighs at that.

"I'll set the mat fast..." Calvin mutters and walks to his bike and takes out the stuff he brought. He walks around the place trying to find a good spot to place the mat. He finally finds a suitable spot and places the mat and the basket on top of it.

Calvin looks at Chrisley and motions her to come over. "Come sit here," Calvin says while patting the mat and Chrisley nods her head and crawls over to the mat. "You wanna eat something? It's lunchtime already." Calvin questions while looking at his wristwatch. "Ohh okay." Chrisley shrugs and nods her head.

Calvin smiles and brings out the basket's contents. "I made these burgers and some banana milkshakes. I hope you like them." Calvin says and hands her the basket. "Wow... These look good." Chrisley marvels and picks a burger from the basket. She takes a bite and her eyes widen. "It tastes good. Good job." Chrisley says and gives Calvin a thumbs up.

"Glad you like it," Calvin says and starts eating himself. After they ate the food. Chrisley lays on her back and sighs in contentment. "I'll just take a nap for some time," Chrisley says and closes her eyes. Calvin simply chuckles and follows suit. Both of them slowly lost consciousness and drifted off to sleep.

After a few hours, Calvin slowly opens his eyes and glances at Chrisley, She was sleeping very peacefully. He slowly graces her cheek and sits up. Chrisley looked very innocent as she slept, uncaring of the world around them. Calvin softly smiles and taps her cheeks slowly to wake her up.

"Hey... Wake up!" Calvin whispers trying to wake her up. It did the job as Chrisley slowly opened her eyes. "Huh? Did I fall asleep?" Chrisley questioned as she rubbed her eyes and Calvin nodded his head. "Yeah... I did too." Calvin answers and Chrisley nods her head.

"We better go back home," Calvin says and Chrisley nods her head. "Yeah... It's getting late now." Chrisley says and Calvin looks at his watch. "It's 14:30!" Calvin informs and Chrisley nods her head. "I'll pack these up... You go and wait for me near the bike." Calvin says and Chrisley nods her head.

Calvin quickly packs the things and walks towards the bike where Chrisley was waiting for him. "All set to go?" Chrisley smiles at him and Calvin nods his head with a smile. "Yes, boss." Chrisley chuckles and watches as Calvin puts the stuff on his bike. "Let's get moving then," Calvin says and gets on his bike. Chrisley wordlessly gets on the bike and Calvin starts the ride back home. The ride was fun with light jokes.

Calvin stops the bike in front of Chrisley's house and Chrisley gets off the bike. "It was fun today Chrisley," Calvin says and Chrisley nods her head. "Yeah... I've never had this much fun in a while." Chrisley admits and smiles at Calvin. "Thanks for the date," Chrisley says and looks at the ground. "Call me if you wanna meet up again," Chrisley says and Calvin grins. "I'll surely do."

"Okay then... Return home safely... Bye!" Chrisley says and watches as Calvin starts the engine again. "Bye Chris!" Calvin bids and drives his bike away. 'Chris.' That name sounds much better when Calvin says it.

Chrisley had to admit, today's date was nothing special. 'I don't think I can count it as a date.' Chrisley thinks with a giggle, most people would mock her if she tell them that that was how her date went. But Chrisley had fun on her date, and it was all that mattered to her.

'Calvin...' Chrisley slept with a blonde-haired guy on her mind that night.

Calvin got off his bike and walked out of his garage with a sigh. 'It went better than expected.' Calvin thinks and walks into his room with a tired groan. "Uhh... I need a shower." Calvin says as he stretched his back. He walked into his bathroom and took off his clothes and showered.

Calvin winced slightly as the cold water hit his skin but quickly got used to the new cold and starts washing. Through the splashes of water and soup, a small but visible smile can be seen on Calvin's face. 'What a great day it was.'
