Hearing footsteps approaching, Nalan Jie turned around and spotted Nalan Su along with Nalan Yanran, Qin Tianlong, and her group. His face immediately twisted in anger, "Nalan Yanran! Did you know what you just did?! You nearly ruined my 40 year relationship with my sworn brother Xiao Lin because of your actions! Without him, do you think you and your father would still exist?!"

Nalan Jie stopped for a moment to catch his breathe and started shouting once again, "No you wouldn't! Nalan Yanran and Nalan Su stared at him with wide eyes. They realized that not only did he catch Nalan Jie's fist, he also removed the poison in his body which alchemists they invited couldn't do!

They soon heard a grunt coming out of Nalan Jie. Both of them helped the old man up as his grey skin miraculously turned back to normal. Even Nalan Jie was stunned. None of the Alchemist he invited could remove the poison and yet with just a single punch, it wad actually dispersed from his body! Not only that, he had also caught his punch with a single hand!

And he looked even younger than Nalan Yanran herself. So young, yet so strong and talented.

Everyone had their own thoughts, as well as Qin Tianlong.

He only removed the poison because of the qi in his hand. However, he left some therefore Xiao Yan could still benefit from it, once he disguises as Yan Xiao. Not only that, he would still have Xiao Yan and Nalan Yanran fight! He didn't have any particular reasons, but it was because of Nalan Jie's cowardly move that he felt disgusted and decided to show Xiao Lin.

Naturally, Nalan Yanran wouldn't dare break the engagement if it wasn't for her being the young leader of the Misty Cloud Sect since the Xiao Family was as strong as the Nalan Family.
