Chapter One Amelia's pov

"Amelia get back here!" my dad yelled at me as I slammed the door of his study room. I knew it was disrespectful to do that but I couldn't take it anymore. Two years ago, my mom died of a rogue attack and since then my father has been overprotective of me and hey it sulks, while walking I saw my best friend Cara.

"Hey girl what's up"

I didn't reply and kept on walking she tugged on my shirt for me to slow down my pace.

"Hey what's wrong? Wait don't tell me you fought with your dad again".

"Yes"

She began ranting, telling me that I shouldn't disrespect my dad. Ugh! that's annoying, I wonder what she would do if she were in my shoes, She would have known what it felt like to have someone watching you every single day. We kept walking until we found a cafe and immediately we entered everyone bowed to greet us.

"Greetings mi ladies"

"You may rise" I told them. We chose a random sit and sat there, when a waiter came for our orders.

"What would you like mi ladies" the waiter asked

"May I have a Mocha please"

"Uhm may I have a cappuccino" Cara ordered

When our orders were taken, I brought out my phone to keep myself busy

"Hey there is a party coming up very soon would like to go maybe you could find your mat there" Cara said

"No"

"There would be hand some guys coming over it's gonna be fun you know"

"No am not going"

"Please please pretty please"

"Alright"

"Yea that's great"

In the midst of our talk the waiter brought our orders.

"Thanks" we both said. After some chats and talk, cara decided to go home while I waited for my driver.

"Bye we would see tomorrow"

"Alright"
