[The Tutorial will now begin.]
[Survive the zombie horde.]
Those announcements made everyone present close to Max, panic.
"Kiyaaaaaaaah"
"Zom-zombies"
Some of them were starting to cry
"Why.. why meeeeee? Please save me"
Zombies were starting to appear everywhere, they were walking through portals left and right.
It was complete chaos.
Max, unlike the others, was calm, his mind was as calm as it could.
He looked at everyone who was crying and panicking with disdain.
Because he knew that this was a chance to live a better life. What if he could obtain power that humans had never seen?
He knew that in those types of situations, the only way to survive was by adapting.
A message appeared in front of him.
[You are now able to access your status by saying "Status Window"]
[You have obtained a basic weapon "Old Sword"]
Every single person was given this system and a weapon that could vary like knives, daggers, hammers, and various other weapons.
Max decided to open this status window and it looked like one you could find in a video game.

The stats he had looked normal for the most part except for his charm which didn't make sense to him since he never had any contact with any girl.
He realized that thinking about it wouldn't give him anything. So, with the sword in hand, Max decided to advance and try to kill his first zombie.
However, it looked as if the zombie wasn't taking a lot of damage.
Max taking a closer look at his sword, remarked that it was dull.
But it didn't deter Max, he continued to hit the zombie over and over again until a message popped up in front of him.
[You were the first to kill a zombie in the world.]
[You have obtained a Sword.]
[Your ranking has been updated.]
[You are first.]
[You have received experience points.]
[You leveled up.]
[You have three stats points to allocate.]
The moment those notifications popped up, he knew that he wasn't wrong, if he continued to kill as many zombies as possible, he would be able to gain power that humans had never seen before.
He picked up the sword from the ground, the edge was sharp as if it could cut zombies in a single strike.
A smile appeared on Max's face, founding the situation amusing.
Max decide to assign one stat point to Strength, one to Agility, and one to Defense.
After applying the stats, he could feel the power flowing around his body making him stronger even by a small amount.
Seeing the effects of stat points and his sword, he continued hunting zombies.

[You have killed ...]
[You have leveled ...]
It wasn't easy but he was making small progress.
Taking a small break, Max decided to look around him and see what others were doing. Most of them were trying to hide not knowing the benefits one could gain by killing those monsters.
But the people watching were starting to realize maybe those zombies were weak. They probably thought if he could do it, I can.
However, they were wrong. Many were trying to hit the zombies but they were surprised by how dull their weapon was and how little damage zombies were taking. The new sword of Max was making it as if the zombie were weak but they were not.
Many of them got bitten by the zombies and some changes were starting to appear on their bodies, they were becoming zombies.
Seeing people die around Max didn't move his heart, he knew the world had changed and that it was now normal. He knew he had to grasp this chance at any cost.

'Status Window' thought Max.

As he was updating his stats, a message appeared.
[A Dungeon is forming in the area.]
Reading this Max started to watch around him if he could see a dungeon forming. But nothing was moving. Everything was the same as before.
Seeing nothing change, Max started to think about where it could be, it was then he had a revelation. If it wasn't being seen right now, then the dungeon had to be forming underground and a metro station was close to where he was right now.
Knowing where the dungeon was forming, Max started running toward the metro station trying to be the first to arrive there.
But as he arrived, he saw the face of the person he hated the most in the world, Jake.
"Ah, Max exactly the person I needed. Come with me we'll clear this dungeon together since we need to be two to enter it," said Jake, happy to have found someone he could dispose of if he ever was in danger.
Max saw the look full of malice in the eyes of Jake. He knew something was up but he didn't want to make it obvious, so he played along acting like his old self. "Oh, you... you need my help. But I'm weak, are you sure you need me?"
"Yes, you are perfect don't worry about it. Just enter with me, I will take care of everything."
[You are entering a dungeon.]
As they entered, Max decided to keep and eye on Jake since he didn't know his level yet and how good he was at fighting.
They advanced until they saw the first monster, but it wasn't a zombie.
It looked like a centipede but it was much bigger and scarier. It was moving at a speed unlike what Max had ever seen.
Max decided to act scared so Jake wouldn't know about his strength.
Jake on the other hand didn't hesitate and completely overpowered the centipede. It looked like Jake had been acting the same as Max since the start of the tutorial, killing everything in his path.
"See this Max, I'm stronger than ever before. This is the best thing ever," said Jake, completely immersed in the strength he was gaining.
It seemed as if the power Jake was gaining was starting to change him, he was becoming greedy desperate to have more.
