Rainning day

It was raining, lightnings were the soundtrack of the battle. Alex was completely surrounded, and he felt wind pass near his face, dodged and turned his sword towards that wind, felt contact with the attacker's flesh and cut his neck, but tiredness was growing each second. He was fighting against 8 people and trying to protect his wife, even if he was the strongest of the world, he couldn't hold.

—Lina, run away. I don't know if I can hold them anymore.— His eyes couldn't stop a tear that was about to drop.

— Lex, you better get out of here alive and find me.— She said, running while looking back at Lex.

Lex had an evident sadness in his eyes, but the hope of her coming out alive still kept him on his feet.

Turning his head back he saw her fleeing towards the forest, the reliever began to take over his body, but kept focused on preventing the enemies from advancing towards her.

With a sword in each hand he fought 4 enemies with each sword, the cuts piled up more and more in his body, but the determination to protect made him able to bear.

When she had already left his line of sight, finally his heart was able to rest, or so he thought. Some seconds after, he heard a scream coming from the forest.

The hope that had grown in his heart made him fall deeper in despair.

Coming from the forest, he saw his friend carrying something that looked like a head.

'No way, it can't be. Isn't her, should be some enemy' Alex thought, he couldn't believe Bradd would do something like that. As Bradd got close, he was walking slowly, Alex couldn't hold, he started crying.

— Lina, Lina, Linaaa...— He kept screaming.

Alex tried to run and cut his friend head off, but the only thing that gave him strength to fight, disappeared right in front of him. His legs couldn't hold anymore, he was fighting for so long, but that doesn't matter anymore. He fell in the muddy ground, he could fell the taste of the mud, all his body was tired and now soaked. He couldn't even move a muscle.

— I'm sorry, Alex.— Said Bradd, his voice was weak.

Alex used every inch of strength left in his body to look up, but he didn't see what he expected. He was expecting his friend to be smiling arrogantly, but instead he was dropping tears.

— I hope you never forgive me.— That was the last thing he heard before getting a sword in his head.

One of my first books, so i'll be glad if ya'll can help me if some grammar mistake goes unnoticed by me.
