9.) Blazing Battlefield!

A leisure day took place as Le Destrucíon sits about, drinking and whatnot. They are surprised by the sudden outburst of a different voice calling out to Gaia, the Life Goddess. Raising suspicions amongst their team and partners. Meanwhile, HellBlazer interrogates a broker who has information on a Teller. The urgency that HellBlazer exhibited showed this Teller person was very important. Just as he's about to get what he wants… two assassins ruin his plans. Challenging him to a duel in order to gain the information of Haydes' whereabouts.

Diablos: "Hmm? I don't know if I already asked this, but is this your room, Joe?"

Joe: "Yeah, it is actually! Guessing the guns being all over my walls gave it away?"

Diablos: "Hell yeah, man. What are you, a collector of sorts?"

Joe: "Sort of. These are my collections, but they're also all made from my energy."

Diablos: "Your energy?!"

Angelos: "So you already have a study, huh?"

Joe: "Yeah! So you know about studies then?"

Angelos: "Yeah, they're quite the subject, honestly. I only know of two classes, though. I know the ranks but not all 4 classes."

Diablos: "I'm a bit oblivious to studies. I'm more attuned to what birthrights are and embody. Mind explaining brotha Angelos?"

Angelos: "Yeah, that'd be easy, my guy!"

You see, studies are a pure essence of energy structured into an obtainable ability. The abilities have a variety as big as birthrights, yet each is far more powerful than their birthright counterpart. Giving the user the ability to use any concept they may have within themselves.

Sanjin: "Stop being a pussy and fight Blazer!!!"

HellBlazer: "Hmph. Why don't you dish out enough power to make me."

*SLASH*

HellBlazer: "Hmm?"

Bujuro: "Dammit! I missed 'em."

Studies aren't with us when we're born either. Unlike birthrights, we must find and obtain studies. As well as master them once we obtain them. Molding them to our liking. Depending on their rank will determine how difficult it may be to master.

*CLASH* *CLASH*

HellBlazer: "I'm surprised you guys are able to keep up while being in my World of Blaze Contract."

Sanjin: "It's quite the hindrance honestly! But my Study of Abolishment helps me rid myself of it with ease!"

HellBlazer: "Hoooo?? Does it now?"

Now there's ranks to studies as well. The higher the rank, the more powerful the study is. But it also means they're much harder to obtain and far more difficult to master. The rankings are: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Super Rare, Ultra Rare, Unique and Legendary. They're ranked in that order of course.

*SMASH* *CRASH* HellBlazer sends them flying with two swift kicks. Crushing them with the force he let out.

Bujuro: "Auugh!!"

Sanjin: "Aaah!!"

HellBlazer: "Show me your studies then, boys! Hehahaha!!!"

Sanjin and Bujuro looked almost like identical twins, but bujuro was a few years older. He had long blue flowing hair that was wavy. He kept it in a ponytail to keep from being in his face during battle. He wore a blue jack that hung just below his waist with his family crest on his right shoulder. Sanjin had a similar jacket that was yellow and shorter in the back. They both had on baggy pants that were thicker in order to easily take shots in combat. Both their shoes looked similar to air forces but had a star in the side rather than a swoosh. Sanjin's hair was spiked up and blonde while both their eyes were sharp and slanted slightly.

The classes differ though. They do correspond with the rankings though. The easiest class to obtain would be the "Stone/Gem" class.

Within the left wrist of Sanjin, there lies a diamond shaped gem that read, Abolish atop it. This was the study itself fused into sanjin from his wrist.

Sanjin: "Rapid Abolishment!!!"

Bujuro: "Endless EXTERMINATION!!!"

*BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM*

HellBlazer: "Hmm. All this to destroy a bunch of decoy contracts I set. They'll be out of energy far before I warm up."

See here. With gem studies there's no fight or riddle or trial you go through like with upper class study types. You simply just have to find them and allow them to fuse to you. You may even choose to diffuse from them whenever you feel like it. Unless you level it up to new heights, then shit becomes difficult.

Bujuro: "It's as if these damn contracts are infinite. They're everywhere little bro!!"

Sanjin: "Keep destroying them for me! I'll cut 'em all off at their damn source!"

HellBlazer: "Oho? Here he coooommes."

Sanjin goes flying at HellBlazer with full speed. Throwing a rapid 200 punch fist-barrage at HellBlazer. HellBlazer blocks and dodges all the oncoming punches. But this distraction does seem to put an end to his constant decoy contract spamming!

Sanjin: "Hah! You're stupid contract spam is over with fool!"

HellBlazer: "So it is. Guess I'll begin the warm-up."

Sanjin: "What!?"

HellBlazer blitzes Sanjin, throttling him with more than 50 heavy punches to the upper body and face. Giving him no breathing room to counter.

Bujuro: "Sanjin!! Tch. Damn! Situational Extermination!!!"

(Now there's the class right above that of Gem-class studies. Literature Studies. These studies are found in books, scrolls, stanzas, poems, etc. Any fucking thing that can be classified as literature. They can also be taught. Same with gem studies.)

In a flash it seems as though HellBlazer's onslaught is halted while the damage sustained by it was reversed. A complete extermination of the situation that unfolded.

Bujuro: "Just in time! Go Sanjin!"

HellBlazer: "Tch! Hmm?"

Sanjin: "Abolishment's Blizzard BLAST!!!"

HellBlazer: "Gah!"

A Grand blast, bigger than two whole mountain ranges erupted from Sanjin's hands. It completely engulfs HellBlazer as it shoots into space. Creating and encasing HellBlazer within an iceberg.

Bujuro: "Got his ass!!!"

(Literature studies can be complex, making them hard to learn sometimes though they're lower class studies. Their ranks can still go as high as Super-Rare. Reading them and understanding them is key to mastering them faster. Becoming more in sync with it the more you understand it.)

Sanjin: *Huff* *huff* *huff* *huff* "God damn bastard…."

Bujuro: … "Hm!? Hey Sanji-"

Sanjin: "Wha-"

Both brothers were hit by a heavy blow to the stomach in an instant.

"Dwah!!"

"Quehk!!"

HellBlazer: "You dumbasses finally let your guard down enough for me to meet the requirements for my gravi contract."

Sanjin: "Ngh. W-what?"

HellBlazer: "Landing two heavy blows in less than a second was the minor requirement needed for me to temporarily control gravity."

Bujuro: "What!?"

HellBlazer: "Gravi rei Apocalypse!"

The gravity on the entire planet began to rapidly increase as the brothers were blown into a crater the size of Las Vegas from US of Earth 52.

Both: "AAAAAAAAHHHH!!!"

HellBlazer: "Damn! They're durable and I need to save power for my meeting with the Teller. Hmm. What to do, what to do."

Sanjin: "Ngh! G-ghrraa!(He's distracted! This is out chance!) Tss *Inhale* T-tch!"

Sanjin struggles to glance at Bujuro who already caught wind of their opportunity.

Bujuro: "Ngh. N-ngh!! Absolute EXTERMINATION!!!"

Sanjin: "Abolish Absorption!"

Bujuro cancels out the gravity effect on the battlefield. Sanjin then uses the theory of abolishing to absorb the exterminated energy.

Sanjin: "Heh! Nice bounce back. Now let's get hi-"

Bujuro: "Sanjin. What's wrong!? Did you see somethi..."

HellBlazer: …

HellBlazer appeared before the two as the cloud of literal heavy gravity approached from all directions. Looking down upon them as he eludes every attack they've used with literal ease.

HellBlazer: "You two fair to me as much as a new pupil fares to his 30 years in grandmaster sensei. It's pathetic."

Sanjin: "Tch!"

Bujuro: "We haven't even shown our full power ye-"

*SMACK* HellBlazer smacks both brothers in the face. Sending them to the floor mid sentence.

HellBlazer: "Shut up ye heathens. Your excuses are gibberish in the night. Just dribble and drool from two fools… I'm callin' in my new recruits for you."

Bujuro: "What!?"

Back at Le Destrucìon's hideout. The conversation on studies grew deeper as Sonya and Joe explained their Treasure-class studies.

Sonya: "Yeah treasure studies are quite the ordeal. But the common mistake is to think any one class of study doesn't hold all ranks. They do. There are legendary class gem studies out there guys."

Tailee: "Yeah."

Joe: "Indeed."

Sonya: "But ours are ultra-rare Treasure class studies. Treasure studies are found in temples and ancient ruins and worlds. They have traps and God-class guardians within each but the find is always worth it. Once you find it, it binds itself to you for eternity. Naturally increasing the sync over time. They feed info to your brain directly so you can practice its essence and make up. The minimum for mastering it is 2 years."

Meilee: "I see. That's incredible. I get to go out and find one more study since I already have one passed down from my folks."

Taishin: "On moms!"

Tailee: "Yeah. Though our family study is strong as shit. It's also a Treasure class study."

Sonya: "We're the same then!"

Joe: "Indeed. Our mother gave us our studies as she kept them waiting for us."

Angelos: "Well damn. That's pretty neat guys. Studies truly are fascinating!"

Diablos: "Hell yeah they are my guy! It's crazy we still have two open slots!"

Angelos: "On broooo! This is great to have learned."

Sonya: "They're truly the pinnacle of strength in our fair Omniverse."

Diablos: "Seems so. Crazy to think HellBlazer has such a strong stu-...Hey, Angelos?"

Angelos: "Yeah?"

Diablos: "He's calling us."

Angelos: "Yeah brotha. Let's go."

Sonya: "Who's calling you?"

Joe: …?

Diablos: "HellBlazer. He says he has enemies on his back and needs to get going. He wants the two of us to handle his light weight."

Joe: "Heh! Your first mission handling his left overs. Good luck man!"

Angelos: "Thanks! GRAND LIGHTx100! Insta travel!"

Diablos: "We'll be back!"

Tailee: "We'll keep some cold ones for your return!"

Diablos: "Thanks!"

Angelos and Diablos blast off at speeds far beyond natural light. Honed in on the coordinates sent by HellBlazer.

Angelos: "You ready for this?"

Diablos: "Yeah man. Let's get this done so we can continue drinking and getting to know them."

Angelos: "Alright coo!"

Angelos hone's in more sharply and speeds up his travel.

HellBlazer: "I'll be getting out of here now."

Sanjin: "What you bastard! I'll be getting that info on Haydes you bitch. Stay and lose to us!!!"

Bujuro: "Yeah you bitch! Hold it right there!"

Bujuro and Sanjin leap out towards the leaving HellBlazer. Only to be blinded by a massive beam of light and two kicks that emerged from them.

Bujuro: "Ngh!"

Sanjin: "Argh!"

HellBlazer: "Hmmph. Handle them guys. I'll see you back at base."

Both: "Right!"

*FWIP*

Sanjin: "Ah!"

Bujuro: "Damn! He's getting away!"

Angelos: "Don't go worrying about him y'all. The fights in front of you now."

Diablos: "Yeah. Now let's make this quick man. I got something back at base I need to be doing."

Sanjin: "Oh, you bet we're gonna make this quick. He's not getting away from us!"

Angelos: "But he is. And you're going to the next stain right here, right now!"

Bujuro: "Tch!"

*FWIP*

Diablos: *Glare*

Bujuro rushes at Angelos in an attempt to blitz him, but is hit head on by a heavy, flying haymaker from Diablos. Stopping him in his tracks.

Bujuro: "Augh!"

Sanjin: "Hm."

Bujuro: "Tch! Guess we're gonna have to take them seriously. They're no mere average Gods."

Sanjin: "We'll kill them all the same."

Bujuro: "Right."

Angelos: "Their presence grew sinister. Let's not underestimate these Demi's."

Diablos: "Don't worry. I won't. I'm going one hundred percent."

The two duos size each other up as the tension builds. Their presences becoming, visible as their energy builds. The planet erupts and storms of gravity left by HellBlazer disperse into the atmosphere. New storms of massive proportions break the lands. Only one spot remains untouched…. The battle field!

The planet erupts, it's lands and seas quake, the skies break and scream and it's core rattles. All as the fighters rile up and rev themselves for battle! The time until Death's revival, 45 days!
