Part 2, Blood Red

As I looked up from my hands for the first time. There in the mirror, I saw red eyes. Eyes that weren't supposed to be that color, eyes that belonged to me. Then everything went black. And when I awoke, I was surrounded by trees, running on all fours. Anger still filling my nostrils and blood dripping down my….muzzle?...My first thought was where the hell am I? The second was why is there blood on me and then I realized, just as I reached a pond of water. There I saw my reflection. Red eyes, black fur all over, all the way to my white-tipped tail?! I slowly lifted my front paws to examine them, which were also tipped in white but had some blood on them. I turned and in a real awkward position, I got a glimpse of my back paws which were also tipped in white and then I noticed something red as well. I twisted and turned to get a better look at it in the mirror of the water. It seemed just near my right hind leg, there was a medium-sized red patch of fur. It was in the shape of a fire symbol. After a good long examination, it dawned on me just what the hell had happened, and then I began to freak out. I am a freaking wolf or werewolf?! I turned into this damn thing that killed someone or something. This is so not good. Clare-bear will never love a beast like me! I began howling in sorrow. Something I never realized I'd be doing. Before diving muzzle first into the water. When I emerged after finally calming. The cold water having a hand in that. I began pacing around in circles trying to determine my next move.

I decided to take a walk and at least figure out where I was. The only positive thing was that the blood had washed off in the pond. I got close to an opening in the thick woodage and there I saw this huge castle-like house. It is the biggest old-timey mansion I have ever seen. Then I got this weird tingly feeling and the ground seemed to get closer than it was before. I looked down at my paws again, thinking maybe I exhausted myself and fell down. Only then did I not see black paws anymore but tan ones. They were definitely dog paws. What the hell is going on with me?!  Then I heard a whistle. "Here boy, c'mere boy, it's alright. Are you lost little doggy?"  Is he talking to me? Who is this guy or boy? He seems about Jenessa's age or maybe a bit younger? Why is he catcalling me….wait, so I am a freaking dog! I approached him slowly. Might as well act like a dog, if I'm going to be one. Guess this can be my life now. I can live with this guy in his huge house. Probably his parents. They must be loaded, I mean who lives in a place like this…aside from serial killers. He doesn't seem so bad. Maybe his parents assassinate people for a living or something.

He began petting me as soon as I got close enough. What's even worse is it actually felt nice, especially when he scratched behind my ear. I could feel my tail beating against me. If this is what it's like to be a dog then it's actually not that bad. "Hey boy, there see, I'm not so bad now am I? Are you lost or a stray? You don't have a collar. You can live with me now." He flashed his fangs. What the hell did I just witness?! "I promise I won't eat you. Now come on, let's go see my brother and tease him about not having a pet dog because he is one." He laughed maniacally.  I followed him into the house. Partly out of curiosity and partly because I was not sure I had the energy to run if he did decide he wanted to eat me. Especially if I was a disobedient dog. We walked through many corridors and then we heard some voices. He led us into what I assume was their living room. It was pretty big. Upon entering, I saw something or well someone I didn't think I'd see for a while. Not until I figured out how to become human again. What the hell was Jenessa doing here and who is that guy?! They look way too cozy and I think they're some sort of cult now. Initiating her into it or whatever. I must, no need, to save her, now.
