Just like that, a legend time had forgotten was brought down by a legend people looked fondly upon.

Ever brilliant Mismp, you shined for sure, shined so brightly the sun took affection for you and willingly followed your commands, you drained the suns of the deep down and plunged many into a darkness where you were the unique source of light.

Dear Mismp, just like your name you have vanished, felled by one much greater than you, however, you can rest happily, even after your absolute defeat, the sun still remembers and adores you.

The sun wishes the best for you soul, may you once again shine.

Luc was confused, he had completely lost the trace of Mismp, the sun had turned red for a moment, shot out an absolutely gigantic beam and then the sun got covered up for a few moment before going back to normal and now it was impossible to find The Brilliant.

He asked around if anyone had noticed him but he didn't get anything only that some people, think, they saw a ball of light move through plains at high speed.

Going back to the great hall, he asked the guy who seemed to know everything and got a strange answer.

"The Brilliant is no more, forget about him" spoke Ignosi, not even turning his head to look at Luc.

"How come? This guy seemed super powerful, he couldn't have just died like that, without even leaving any trace!" uttered Luc, Mismp had casually made a miniature sun, Luc didn't have a good memory but he was certain that characters who pull suns out of nowhere are always super powerful.

"..." Ignosi had started to ignore him even faster than usual.

'Powerful, he says' thought The Ever-Seeking, letting a small chuckle, this guy's attacks were defenseless anyone decent enough could have drained them of their power.

What good did being able to throw devastating attacks do when they can easily be weakened into non-existence?

Mismp was just like a common strong man, capableof exerting power above their peers but unable to develop any true technique and yet, in terms of strength he was by far the strongest of the five, truly ridiculous that the will would put those in Ignosi's way to try and have him prove anything, they are nothing but bugs, ignorant weaklings, they hold the same significance than a particule of dust in The Ever-Seeking's eyes.

"Huum, mister?" spoke a voice muffled by mask.

Ignosi raised to look at the champion who he had been making run errands until now.

"You are still around? I don't have anything for you to do, just sit in a corner in silence" he spoke harshly but she happily did as told, he found it exasperating but at least she was useful unlike some.

As he read an ancient scroll detailing great secrets that he already knew of, he glanced at what that Luc was doing, apparently he was immediately going for the next of the five, Iolidt, Queen of Scales, he had apparently enlisted the help of an earth mage to make a staircase up to the enormous floating island, it wasn't that high in the sky so it was possible.

Ignosi looked at the champion sitting in a corner for a bit.

"Alright, you're too pathetic come here" he told her and she came up next to him, he made what he was seeing project for her to see and started explaining stuff.

"The main challenge with Iolidt, is not her or her numerous scaled spawned but Varantiz, he is not what I would qualify as a strong dragon but he should be a challenge to this guy, if he manage to survive his battle with Varantiz, he will basically have won, all that would left to see would be of whether or not he was the guts of killing a woman who can not defend herself at all" he spoke aloud.

"What would you do, sir?" asked the champion beside him.

"I would just make the island blew up and see if anything survived" he responded.

Luc made his way on top of the floating island, the surface of it was huge but he could see the palace where Iolidt should be at, the palace was surrounded with abandoned, large habitations, Luc took a step forward but was immediately halted in his track.

An enormous dragon landed right in front of him, his neck was extremely long and his head that of a cobra, a pair of enormous on his back and four legs, with his two front legs seemingly able to be bended like that of a human, his tail was almost as long as his neck.

The dragon stood at a length of thirty meter excluding his neck, his scales were a dark grey with a few being black or orange on his head.

Luc expected to hear the voice of a domineering dragon but all he got was a powerful scream that made him fly into a nearby habitations, breaking through the wall covered in bruises, he had managed to activate a shield around him but he had still sustained damage.

He quickly left the habitations and had been right to do so has it was crushed the fist of Varantiz, he turned his head to Luc who was currently in open field and reeled his head back for a moment, Luc immediately booked it, running toward another of those abandoned places to try and take cover from what was about to happen.

Suddenly flinging his head, Varantiz breathed out a green fire in a wide arc, Luc was just in time to take cover, the green fire burned the stone a bit, leaving it melted, Varantiz's breath attack was a venomous fire, the fire behaved like normal fire, however it carried a venom that penetrated through the skin and made its way into its victim's blood stream while still leaving horrible burns.

Bringing down a beast such as Varantiz was deemed to be difficult even for a skilled individual, so for Luc it would especially difficult.

The snake dragon once again let out a powerful scream as it flapped his wings creating a strong wind, he rose in the air and prepared to land right in Luc's hiding spot.
