In a huge office, wall painted with light colours , some sophisticated designs on the ceiling with the fan rotating making a sound that was inconsistent with the quiet environment in the room.

Matthew who was right now standing in front of his father's desk without the demeanor of an arrogant and cool boss which he showed in front of his subordinates was feeling suffocated because of his father's silent treatment.

" Ok, dad don't be so silent say something, hmm. " He mumbled just like a child.

Seeing his son's demeanor and acting like a child James William, his father who was thinking to give him silent for a long time sighed and said, " Forget it , I am not angry, go now."

" Daddy, you are so angry, I just ate with mother it wasn't that big of a mistake."

Hearing this James' temper rose again before it was completely gone. He scoffed," You act as if I am the unreasonable one. You took six months to complete a deal that could be done in three. And still have the nerve to play around.

Ayy, why did I get such a brat while others get diamonds. See the Evans' son he is getting married and above that his business ability is also outstanding. What did I get for a son , a complete brat who can't even coax his girlfriend properly and in business he is still making mistakes. Aiiya what did mistakes did I do ?

Do you know that the old man from the Evans keep boasting in front of me always, so annoying. "

Matthew muttered in a low voice," Liam Evans is thirty this year, so it isn't surprising for him to marry and I have just turned twenty five."

But seeing his father continue rambling like an old man, Matthew knew to shut up and just find an opportunity to slip out. If anyone of their subordinates saw this scene they might be terrified to see their bosses act like this in private.

Ofcourse, it wasn't that Matthew wasn't talented, he just lazed around a bit too much so James would always be scolding him.

Just as Matthew was planning to slip out unnoticed his father stopped his rambling and said," Oh I forgot to tell you that today is Liam Evans bachelor party so go home early to prepare."

" But Dad I am not that close to him."

James interjected, " But I am with his dad. We want you to develop a close relationship just like us. And that old man Anthony Evans personally invited you through me, so no buts because you are going."

Matthew knew he couldn't win over his father but internally he was feeling extremely awkward because he didn't have that much interaction with Liam. Liam was known to be an extremely private person in their circle so he knew his bachelor's party would also be the same and going there when he wasn't that close to Liam while others would be was going to be hell awkward but what could he do when the order was from high command.

As Matthew exited the cabin, he regained a cold face that he was famous for, ofcourse it was a persona he learnt from his father.

Wearing a black suit, Matthew entered Liam's private farm house where the party was going. Oh, he was wrong it was a coed party meaning that the bachelor and bachelorette was being held together.

Inside the party, he was feeling awkward as there were very few people there and he wasn't close to anyone. His eyes wandered around until he saw a man doned in a blue suit talking around with everyone like a social butterfly. Matthew unconsciously sighed a breathe of relief.
