How to house a Merman

As Lucrecia was sleeping more Kole remembered another thing, that is to prepare a good sleeping area. Lucrecia had been sleeping curled up in the rockpools recently so Kole went out into the ocean near where they lived to collect many things to make a comfortable nest for them. As he collected items Kole wondered how Lucrecia would react once he woke up to see all these new objects.

While collecting shells and rocks Kole found something else that caught his attention. It was small and round and glowed faintly blue. Curious about its appearance he picked it up and held it between two fingers. The object was smooth and cool to the touch. After examining it he realized that the item was a gemstone.

This was an unusual find since gems weren't usually found in watery places such as this, perhaps it floated from another shipwreck. He decided to take it back anyways since Lurecia liked these kinds of trinkets.

He used his many tentacles to hold the items, now he had the decorative items for their home he needed some soft bedding material. He swam deeper to try and gather some seaweed or kelp. He moved through the sea towards the shoreline where the plants grew thicker.

He found a lot of seaweed and started gathering it.

When he returned to the cave he noticed that Lucrecia was awake already. He sat on the side watching him curiously.

''What are you doing?''

Kole smiled. "Just making us a nice place to rest."

Inside the cavern he gathered a large amount of kelp and placed it inside the hollow he had made earlier. Next he took a few stones from outside and arranged them neatly around the edge of the room, creating a large nest area. When he finished he turned to face Lucrecia and presented his work.

Lucrecia seemed pleased by this. His eyes sparkled with happiness as he approached Kole. He put aside his tools and watched him approach.

His fins brushed against his arms as he stood close to him, smiling widely. He pressed himself firmly against his chest and wrapped his tail around his waist, holding tightly to him.

Then he leaned forward and planted a tender kiss upon Kole's lips. Kole responded eagerly at the contact.

Their kisses continued until Lucrecia pulled away. They both looked deep into each other's eyes, sharing affectionate glances before breaking apart.

''You should be more comfortable sleeping in here.'' Kole said softly. ''Ill go fetch you some food''

"I'll go with you" replied Lucrecia.

It was rare that Lucrecia wanted to hunt, so Kole agreed and they both left the carvern together.

The pair swam slowly through the ocean waters, occasionally stopping to watch the fish swim past.

They stayed like that for a while, just enjoying being alone and intimate with each other.

Eventually Kole spotted a school of smaller fish swimming quickly through the water. This reminded him of what he'd seen during his travels and he thought that maybe it could help feed Lucrecia. So he called him over.

Once again Lucrecia followed him without question. Together they searched for prey among the schools of little fish. Soon enough Kole saw one of the larger ones darting through the crowd.

With practiced ease he shifted and grabbed the creature by its fin. Without any hesitation he brought the fish closer to his mouth and bit down onto its body. With a quick motion he swallowed it whole.

After finishing off several more fish and eating their fill they returned to the cave.

Lucfrecia felt a bit tired by time they reached the entrance. He lay in their new nest and quickly fell asleep. Kole laid beside him and rested his head atop his.
