> 235. [ DaSH: "She will be back! I know it! And when she's back she will sing for us again!" ]

"Daru, keep it low! I am doing an important experiment here."

Daru peeled his eyes away from the monitor and looked at Okabe's direction. Okabe is in front of a TV staring at the alpaca man on the monitor.

"What you're doing is not important, it's pointless." Daru said as he turned his eyes back to the monitor and continued typing.

> 237. [ DaSH: "You have no taste! All her songs are meaningful and inspiring. It's not her fault you can't understand it." ]

> 238. [ Verzy: "That's right. Though she's not the best Vtuber, she's the best singer among them." ]

> 239. [ DaSH: "Ahhh! What do you mean not the best?! She is the best, the cutest, and the embodiment of Moe!" ]

"Let's be honest, this is embarrassing." Ruka blushed in embarrassment after he reads Daru's comment.

Let's catch up on what happened these past five months.

After Ruka came back from the internet cafe, he thought about what he would do to get money the fastest and he thought that Mewtube has it. Being a Mewtuber is a profitable job and the only difficulty you'll face is that you have to keep producing interesting content.

To do this, Ruka decided to be a Vtuber. There are no one of the sort here and it would be popular with it being unique. He would be the only one doing this for a while and he would be said to be the creator of this genre.

Also, this would make it easier to hide his identity as he will be using a Virtual Avatar in his livestreams. Hiding his identity is important.

Anyway, he prepared all the equipment he had to use by February. He got all of this using his weekly allowance that he saved up.

For the content he made as a Vtuber, his first video was an introduction. I mean everyone needs an introduction if they are meeting someone for the first time right.

He still remembers that he only had over 400 viewers on his Livestream at that time. At that time he introduced himself just as planned, as the first Vtuber.

~~FLASHBACK-KUN~~

A 3D modeled animated character can be seen in the Livestream. It was a girl(?) with white gray hair tied in twin tails wearing an oversized lab coat over a grey t-shirt with a panda print. She had royal blue eyes and a chopping board for a chest. Her outlook immediately screams of eccentricity.

{ A/N: I'll call Ruka's Vtuber Avatar 'she/her' cause that makes sense more to me. }

"Hello everyone! I know that you came to watch this due to your curiosity! I mean who wouldn't when the title is 'The Most real Anime character'. It's title screamed at otakus like y'all to watch this Livestream."

Random Bystander: [ I just clicked on it accidentally but was this a new anime? ]

Random Passersby: [ Me too, I clicked on it accidentally ]

"Mou! You guys hurt my feelings! I thought you were interested in me, even for just a bit! Now you're saying it's accidental?!"

Random Passersby: [ Did she just reply to our comments?! ]

Random Bystander: [ You're not tripping! She did reply to us in real time! ]

The cute girl wearing a lab coat had a smug look on her face as she said, "Of course I do! Did you expect this to be just another unknown anime?"

"I will introduce myself! I am Origin! A mad scientist who blew up her own reality to pieces! Fear me, everyone! Hahahaha!"

DaSH: [ Who is this cute thing?! ]

Random Bystander: [ I declare that starting at this moment that I am your No. 1 Fan! ]

"Oi! I'm not cute, I'm beautiful!" She said in mock anger with her arms crossed.

"Anyway, don't you all have a question for me. Like where I'm from or something."

Random Passersby: [ You're not really a mad scientist right? How can you be a mad scientist, you're small! ]

Origin No.1 Fan: [ You can't argue that she's cute though. ]

"What?! You do not believe me?! I am a great scientist in the fields of Astrology, Quantum Physics, and Mechanical Sciences! I even made a working Nuclear Fusion Reactor all by myself, emphasis on Fusion not Fission!"

DaSH: [ That's quite a hard thing to do. You must be a great person then. ]

Random Passersby: [ You believed that nonsense? If she really built one why don't she say how she built it. Or rather why didn't we know about it? ]

"Pshh... Of course you wouldn't know about it, idiot. I just said in my introduction earlier that I am from a different reality and that I destroyed it, of course you wouldn't know about it." Origin said sarcastically.

Origin No.1 Fan: [ Hahaha! There you go you idiot! Don't take things too seriously. ]

DaSH: [ You're right. Maybe it's Origin-chan's lore background. You took it seriously dude. ]

Random Passersby: [ My bad. ]

"Oi you pigs!! I didn't say that I didn't make it, I said that it doesn't exist anymore! It was destroyed!"

DaSH: [ Hai, Hai! It is as you said, Origin-chan. ]

"You're not taking me seriously! I swear to Tesla's ass that I will torture you guys if I see you IRL!"

Origin No.1 Fan: [Oohhh! Origin-chan my address is ****** by the *****. I am in the apartment room 016 on the second floor. You can come anytime. ]

Random Passersby: [ What a masochist. You need therapy. ]

"Gross. I would never approach you even if you're the only human left on Earth. I'll ban you from chat for ten minutes."

[[ Origin No.1 Fan has been banned by livestream administrator for Ten Minutes ]]

DaSH: [ You deserve it! That's for sullying Origin-chan! ]

"Anyway, back to my self introduction. Aside from my love to do experiments, I also love singing! It was a pity that no one ever heard me sing in the past cause... you know, I'm 5 miles below the ground."

Random Passersby: [ You can sing? I doubt it. ]

DaSH: [ Can you sing for us, Origin-chan? I would really like to hear it! ]

"Really?! Okay! I'll sing this song I made while I was making the Singularity Machine! This is the song I sang as I watched the timer before the end. Don't cry okay?" Origin said while preparing to sing.

"The name of this song is 'Racing Into the Night'."

"That was nostalgic. I really liked Yoasobi's songs and I thought it was just fitting that I sang one their songs first in my debut."

It was also what kept him going in him last life. Thinking about what would happen after he died if he decided on suicide kept him alive. Alas, he's still dead but not by suicide.

Ruka thought with her eyes closed, as he was also thinking about what he accomplished these past months. He thought that what he did will be enough to ensure their safety no matter the unforseen circumstances that ever come their way.

It is now July 9, 2010, over two weeks before the day when everything's gonna change. It is the start of Okabe's travel through the Worldlines.
