Ch 7.

Natsuo died without being able to understand what happened to him at that time. But that death changes everything for him as he finds out that he can actually respawn after dying here. This made him understand that he was not that different from the Survivors of the Ark. That made his life easier in this world and finally, after more than one month of hard work, he was able to reach level 12. 

All stat points after increasing his Levels, he put them into his speed and Stamina stats as they are the most important ones for him in this world for now according to him. He can now outrun many small-sized creatures like Dilo and Compy.

He doesn't need to put his stat points in his Inventory stat because of his other ability which can be called Infinite Inventory. This ability of his is not Ark related ability but his personal ability, the same as his ability to get in and out of the Ark.

This ability of his works, just like its name sounded, it's a Pocket dimension to store things, and the amount of things he can store in this pocket dimension is unlimited. The size of the things he could store also didn't matter as he could store the smallest things to the largest. The time also doesn't exist in the inventory because of which nothing gets aged in this dimensional pocket once placed inside and that object remains in the same state as when it was put inside.

Ark's inventory on the other hand is a totally different case because as time passes in Ark's inventory, the object inside the inventory will either rot or disappear with time. The amount of things he can store in the Ark's inventory is also very limited as it depends on the weight of the object. Because of this, he uses his Infinite inventory as his primary Inventory to store things.

Plus the Infinite Inventory has one amazing ability and that is to take things from the Ark to Earth and from the Earth to Ark. Yeah, Natsuo can take the Items he placed inside the Infinite Inventory while in the Ark to Earth when he returns back and he can also use those objects while on Earth. The same thing happens when he comes back to the Ark from Earth. This gives him the ability to take useful things from Earth to the Ark. 

Currently, he only has one set of kitchen knives and his baseball bat from Earth. He wanted to get other kinds of weapons but the most he was able to get was his baseball bat that his dad bought him as a birthday gift some years ago. 

In Japan, it is illegal to keep unlicensed firearms. They needed a permit from the government to keep one. Plus there are also monthly checkups of the Firearm you are keeping. For every bullet you use, you have to give a report about it because of this reasons not many people in Japan like to own any kind of Firearm. The same goes for his father, as he already has too much work on his shoulders and now he also has to look after some gun. He can't do that.

Natsuo was thinking about getting a sword for himself but those things were very expensive, So, he wasn't able to buy them. 

He can take things from Ark to Earth, but he doesn't go around and saw to the world what alien things he has got or something like that. He also doesn't know where to go and sell those things for some cash. He doesn't know where the black market of Japan is and he had also never thought about doing anything shady like going to the Black market ever in his both lives. 

Plus if he levelled up enough then he would be able to unlock the sword engram that would give him the ability to craft his own sword by himself so why should he go around and waste his money on things that he can craft later on by himself.

So, he didn't sell or show anything he had from the Ark to anyone on Earth because it was not worth it and it might put him into deep trouble. which he doesn't think is worth his time so he throws the Idea of getting rich by selling objects from Ark to Earth for now. He might do that in future but for now, he is not strong enough to think about doing those kinds of things.

Even though he is very strong compared to normal people. As him on Earth is no different in power level than his Ark self. As he levels up on the Ark he becomes stronger and stronger on Earth too. Natsuo has spent more than a month on that dangerous Island to become Level 12. 

His current speed of running at full speed is 28 km per hour and with his current stamina, he can maintain his full speed for 15 minutes and 32 seconds which is impossible for a normal human to even think about doing. His strength and other stats have also increased but not as much as his speed and stamina as he put all of his stats points in these two stats only.

The best way to level up in the Ark is by killing creatures, taming creatures, Harvesting Resources, crafting things, building things, killing bosses and etc. Doing anything that is not just wasting your time on Ark can give you EXP to level up. 

Today he is thinking about taming his first mount, a Parasaurolophus, which is also called Parasaur by Ark players. The reason for this decision of his is because he was finally able to create 15 simple kibbles using Dodo eggs and also because he was finally able to craft a Parasaur saddle after killing many Dodos and Dilos for their hides and stuff.

He tamed Dodos very easily as just knocking at the back of their head with his backhand slap did its trick. He had to practice this move on many Dodos which made him kill a huge amount of them for no reason but practice makes you perfect and now he can make them unconscious in one slap. By seeing his progress he can say for sure that those Dodos' sacrifices were worth something in his life in the end. 

He was thinking about taming Dilo next but every time he tried to knock them out, most of the time they died because of how hard he hit them with Club on their head.

It's not like in the game where if you beat some creature with a club it won't be killed and only will make it unconscious. He tried on many Dilos but in the end, he failed to make even one of them get safely unconscious. Even those he was able to knock out, died because of brain damage. 

Because of this, he wanted to wait until he became level 21 and then look for big tames. As at level 21, he will unlock the Tranq arrow Engram. Tranq arrows will give him the ability to knock out creatures without killing them and making sure that they are not very injured.

But during his experiment, he found that he could create something like Tranq arrows manually a day before yesterday.

However, he won't be able to craft this new kind of Tranq arrow directly with the help of his Ark crafting system as it can't be registered as an Engram. He can register things as Engrams but those things have to be totally new things that are not already in his Engramatrix.

The new arrow that he was able to create was, in the end, just the imitation of the real Tranq arrow in his Engramatrix because of which he can't register that thing in his engram list.

Because of this, he had to make this new kind of arrow manually and since he had this kind of arrow, he thought about taming something like Parasuar. He doesn't know if he will be going to succeed or not but he won't know until he tries.

Pasasuar is a herbivore Dinosaur. In nature, it is very docile but it's a powerful mount and can even battle with Utah Raptors. It's like the horse of the Ark as it can also run very fast because of its strong big muscular legs. The weapon it uses for fighting is the long curved crest on its head which can be used like a big horn to Ram into something.

Though it's Herbivores, they are still dangerous to him. This world is similar to the Ark game but is not as same as the game. As everything here is a real living creature. If he attacked the Parasuar, it might attack him back instead of running away because of this he has to prepare many things before going for his Parasaur tame. 

So after he made his preparations and checked things to make sure everything was ready. He ate his breakfast of four boiled Dodo eggs which were far tastier and Nutritional compared to Earth's Chicken eggs. He had cooked them in the Cooking pot which was outside his little hut. 

He went to look for the Parasuar. Everything is already in his Infinite inventory, now the only thing left is to knock out and tame a Parasaur. He went out of his considered safe zone. Well, on this Island he won't have any safe zone until he doesn't create his own fortress. 

But because of him being a low-level survivor, he doesn't have the authority to use those engrams. In Ark, engrams mean blueprints but These Blueprints are locked until you level up and unlock them. Because these Blueprints are added directly into the Survivor's Ark system they are called Engrams. And the whole list of Engrams is called Engramatrix. 

There are other ways to craft without using Engrams in the Ark and that is by obtaining External blueprints around the island but it is easier to say than doing it. Because for getting those external blueprints, he has to get Artifacts from the most dangerous caves on the Island that are filled with every human's nightmares. Giant spiders, Giant Scorpions, Giant Centipede, Giant snakes and even Giant bats are filled within those caves.

Plus Those are caves, so of course they are going to be dark and have many small places in the cave system. In the game, players can see where to go because it's a game but in real life where everything is far bigger than shown in the game it is totally different picture. He can also get lost in there and would have no way of getting out of that place unless he killed himself which is not an ideal thing for him to do. After all, dying in real life is not the same as dying in the game. 

He will feel the kind of pain he would have never thought existed in the world. Thankfully every time he respawns, the Ark made him forget about the experience of his death or else he wouldn't even have thought about coming back here after his second death. The only things he remembers about his death are some pieces of memories and nothing else.
