Chapter IX: The Siege On Midburry Castle

Kena looked around for people to tell Him where the main church is but the reaction to seeing him is someone screaming so he went to the village he was in to see what happened to the people he stole shadows from. He got someone, took them to the forest and asked. After a few people screaming there was one person who could be okay and smiled at him. It reminded Kena of Hayden. If this happened before he died to iwao, he would have cried.

"Where is the main church at?" Kena asked. "in midburry, head north for a couple months and you'll be there." The man said "why are you headed there?". Kena got up and said "to get vengeance for a friend". The man smiled and said "I'll come with. They took a friend from me too". Kena looked at him with a disbelief and said "okay" grabbed him and went north with his full speed. At full speed, it would take about 10 minutes.

Eventually they got there he saw a city and a kingdom. He knew what the kingdom was. "What's your name?" Kena asked. "Ezra. My name is Ezra" Ezra said. "My name is Kena." With his hand out for a handshake. They shook as a mist of light surrounded kenas arm and a dark smoke surrounded Ezras.

Kena used his wings and flew. Ezra would catch up and he made it to the castle, he was instantly attacked. but he just punched them and moved. Right now, I'm he used the move the combat master used to make a crater in the ground, he'd level the city to pebbles.

Kena expected an army, but he fought only 20 people. So he went inside to look for the mastermind behind this operation. Eventually he realized he was in the outer castle area. He moved into the inner castle to see 500 of them. "They looked at him. Paralyzed in fear because most of them hadn't fought a demon.

"I'm going to give you a chance. Leave now or you die." Kena said.

Most dropped there swords after hearing him speak. One man was so scared and confused he gripped his sword and ran at kena. "WHAT THE HELL KIND OF DEMON ARE YOU!?!?" The man screamed! "I AM THEIR KING!" As Kena killed him and grabbed his blade. Using demon arts he made the blade better.

"One. Two Three Four. I will let four of you live to tell the world about The Demon King, KENA!" Kena cackled into the sky, getting wrapped up in the moment. He thought about his time in the void, and the times he went insane, thus with so may dead, make him go insane for a little bit of time. Kena ran, smiling, as he killed holy knights left and right. He smiled more as he got notifications and even laughed.

Kena had finally cut through all of them. "WHO'S NEXT?" Looking at the castle leaving the four who lived to tell the tale and the ones who gave up. He used demon arts to look for shadows from humans. He found 947 more.

Ezra had been running to the castle. He eventually thought about his wings and used them. They worked but they weren't nearly as fast as kenas. eventually he got there see his massacre. He wasn't surprised to see one, just not this big he swooped down to a few more knights. There were 70 knights headed for Kena. Ezra went in to fight one. He grabbed him and knocked him out. He took his armor and sword. Now he was headed for the rest.

He knocked out 29 with the hilt of his sword, leaving 50. He did the same to them and screamed at the castle "WHO'S NEXT?"

Kena was in the building as he heard Ezra say "who's next" he got out to see Ezra. "Took you long enough" Kena said. "Try flying here with these wings midway." Ezra said jokingly with a smile. "We still have a job to do. There are 900. Let's see who can take down the most." Kena said happily. "I'll win" Ezra said with a determined smile. *!*
