The Sellsword

Currently Rai accompany by Belwas and Syrio and some of his men are in the road toward Kingslanding they just passed the gate that separate Riverland and Crownland. These 50 men will attend the Kingslanding for the wedding of the King of Seven Kingdom, Robert Baratheon.

Ser Oswald Wode happily accompanied Rai till the gate this morning, after Rai and his entourage spent a night in his house, new stone keep. The gate too was new, so did all their surroundings, a ring of mountain plus a deep gorge separate the land of near the God's Eye lake.

Today your only way to reach Harrenhal are by the kingsroad, south gate, near crownland, guard by Wode Family, while north gate that dissociate them with Roote house currently guard by Daario.

Last couple months was so busy for Rai and all Hoare House loyalist as they successfully subdued two nobles near God's eye, house Wayn and House Goobrook had near to no choice after seeing huge stone giants stood in front of their houses.

Raizel Hoare than declare himself as King of the Lake, that enrage lord paramount of Riverland, in which Raizel answer with a full set of Valyrian steel, a box of gold coin, a letter stated his loyalty to house Tully. Rai reasoned to not go to Riverrun and kneeled himself in front of Hoster Tully is the new appearance of mountain surrounding his lake bring along huge disaster for their house and small folks.

Robert also questioned Raizel moved, and Raizel answered his action the same style he sent to house Tully, no armor but more gold, and promise to attend the king's wedding.

Both house of Wayn and Goobrook are now the vassal of House Hoare and to make sure their loyalty, Rai used his profound power, in which he keeps promise himself to stop use that in the game. Talk about profound power Rai just got his final breakthrough in realm of god, allowing him to reach Nirvana Stage. Rai used teleportation so much that make his understanding of law space and time become much higher and clearer.

While Rai's brother, Ichigo, pursues destruction and power law, Rai is someone who loved traveling, so he concentrated to find the easiest method to travel. By reaching higher stage, Rai's understanding of space reaches a new level in which he can feel different dimension, other space, variant timeline, and multiverse. When he breakthrough his father came to him, he shared his understanding in the laws and this help Rai a lot, they even travel to another world once, a place that was in constant war, no one cultivate profound energy there, but they use chakra. Rai and Itachi spent a day there traveling across the new world.

To fulfill his promised to the king Rai travel to capital, his journey across his land a lot easier as he already commanded his men to make all road to be paved, the road large enough for four to five carriages run in line, in both side he made irrigation, of course he also made sewage system. New health and sanitary system were introduced in all the Lakeland, as what exist in seven kingdoms much worse than his father kingdom.

Till now Rai is unsure to implement education system, as what his father kingdom face was, human rebellion to have freedom and human right after they got education. So, for now Rai just want to make sure the small folks in his land to be protected, healthy, and their stomach are full.

"I never think paved road to be so much important" Belwas speaks as they rest to eat lunch.

Syrio replied "Not only our travel speed much better, but it's made the journey less demanding for our physic."

Rai just smiles and nods, later one of his personal guard approaches.

"My lord our scout found a group of cavalrymen move toward us; they have no banners." this one is his personal commander, Ser Bruce Wayn, the best swordmen of his new vassal. Bruce can fight toe to toe with Tormund, the best of his first batch army. And since Bruce already a knight and from noble house, he can be a huge help for Rai especially in term of noble ethics.

"Good, it will be your men first real test, stand guard" Rai answered, Bruce immediately acknowledges him.

Then Rai continues "Raizel, the original one, told me that he found the assassin not only from his father, but also from his mother. The father is already death, while his mother currently a lady of noble house in iron islands. As it is impossible to bypass my ward around the castle if you have bad intention, this will be our first encounter.

"Why don't we kill her, my lord" Belwas asks.

"No, that will make the game boring" Rai laugh.

Syrio smiles looking at his lord "you must have a great plan my lord."

"Indeed, although Raizel is not ugly, but in the end it is some one else face, I want to be myself. Later let me be surrounded and get some wounds. This will justify my next move." Rai talks as he sees hundred or so horsemen coming closer.

Rai brought along 8 servants that take care the carriages of presents for the royalty, and 40 guards, aside Belwas and Syrio. They sure are outnumbered but normally Belwas and Syrio, that already enhanced by Rai, could easily face their attacker. But he will let the new guard to have some experiences, as he too need to act injures by attacker.

Rai does not want to many witnesses, so he orders the carriages run away, and order the guard to charge the attacker. It will give the guard lesser opponents as Rai can't stand watching his men dead. This act also in another effort, to make name for Syrio and Belwas. Not a monster but a great warrior, as it is normal for a great knight to kill dozen people in a war.

Soon each guard find their adversary, some attract two men, while Bruce already kills one and draw two more, as the guard number much fewer, around 80 horsemen still charge toward Rai, Belwas uses his elephant to divide more. This war elephant was bought in Astapor, as a horse not possible to carry Belwas.

Syrio do not mount his horse as he stands still with both of his sword unsheathed. All of this gives Rai ten horsemen to entertained. Rai while ride his horse, run circling Belwas and Syrio, he uses bow to kill and run.

After five minutes Belwas and Syrio almost kill all attacker, so Rai decide to start his act, the horse start slow down. Soon five horsemen reach him, Rai falls from the horse while defending from their attack. Rai quickly get up and prepared to meet the attacker. He uses terrain to help him avoid full contact with all of five horsemen at the same time. Rai kills one while allowing himself to get injured.

Soon this event was close down as all attacker was killed, no one from Rai's side dead, just some guard wounded, just like Rai is. Except one, Bruce, still in a sword attraction with a man. From their style it is clear that the enemy are band of sellswords, they sure can fight, but not to charge as cavalrymen.

Rai immediately act so that the guard looks worried for their lord, now Rai stand with Belwas's help while watching Bruce fight.

"What do you think of him Syrio?" Rai Asks.

"I am sure normal Daario will find him a worthy opponent, while me, I am the best swordman my Lord."

"I can kill him with one swing my lord, even without your bless" Belwas wanted to be listened too.

Syrio continues "He knows even he kills the man in front of him, it is impossible to escape, so he delayed as much as he can, in hope you intervene my lord."

"Go stop them than Syrio." Rai orders.

Syrio move forward to stop Bruce's fight. He used both of his swords to disarm both Bruce and the lone attacker. Bruce that already new the pro of Rai entourage, just sight, he picks his sword walk toward Rai, and stand guard near him.

While the man shock, he believes himself quite good, he may be not the best swordsman, but there should be no one disarm him, especially this quickly.

"Pick your sword, our Lord wants to meet you" Syrio speaks without looking at him, as Syrio walks toward Rai.

As soon as the man get closed to Rai, once again he feels pressure, just like from Syrio, but this one he understands it easily, Belwas, a ten ft giant, stand before him.

"Speak prisoner" Bruce moves forward, he positions himself between Rai and the man, as he wants to protect as lord from sneak attack.

"I notice all of your man are extraordinary Lord Hoare, it seems no one from your side dead." The man speaks.

Seeing Rai keep quite he continues "I live as sellsword, this is just to get money, no personal matter Lord Hoare, I do not who is paying, as I just get invited by one of the dead bodies there" He point toward one of corpse.

"My guard use better armor and horse, it is normal for them to be safe, as it is my intention while ordering for their equipment. But I intrigue, seeing your swordplay, I believe you could harm my guard's commander while you surround him with other." Rai speaks for the first time.

"Thank you for your high appraisal of me, but although I may harm him, he too could land mortal attack if I get to focused on attack. I already sensed my side lose as soon as my sword broken from the first clash. So, I act vigilant. I may not know who after your life Lord Hoare, but the leader of this attack usually stays at the inn of kingsroad. That all I knew." the man replies.

Rai smiles "I would find the master mind for sure, but I am more interested in you ser sellswords, tell me about yourself."

"I am no ser Lord Hoare, just a lone mercenary, my name is Bronn."
