"What did you just say?" Lynol asked, as Foster's words had sounded like absolute gibberish to him and the others. Of course, none of them spoke English, so that wasn't really a surprise either. But right now, even Foster himself wasn't sure if he was reading that correctly. Obviously, there was no way for him to be back here, right?
In a panic, he turned around, seeing the covered entrance, starting to rip the old newspapers off the windows the moment that he reached it. Beyond the glass in front of him was a black void. There was nothing there, no matter how far he looked. Not that old parking lot that was littered in trash and abandoned cars, not the half-dead trees that nobody had cared for in more than a decade. Not even the skyline of the city beyond the hill that the observatory had been built on.
