Fruits of Labour

The Large stone hall awaited our guests... Melody, Luriel, Cav, Horzion... and a newcomer, Prine Moro. I don't know what he is about, but I could probably assimilate him into our

' Meeting ' with just a little manipulation... I mean, he thinks I'm like... a deity, right?

Well, whatever. I got enough food for everyone who is supposed to come, and a little extra incase someone else decides to show up.

I expect extra people to show up, there isn't a way that Arch's group led a force this large by themselves, even with my crew.

Asura probably is here somewhere, he's good at managing people at this scale and with the whole barrier thing being halted for a moment he doesn't have anything else to do.

It is what it is.

And that's when Luriel and Cav arrived, they entered silently with exhausted expressions.

- " Luriel, Cav, Good to see you two again. How are you? "

Luriel Answered swiftly.

L - " We are... fine. Its hard to fight Origin, they are much more organised... especially since they have been working together for so long, its a hassle... there is just so much to account for, and its hard to tell people what to do because everyone wants to do there own thing and- "

C - " That's enough Luriel, its been a while since we've seen Cobalt right? We should at least pass on our regards about that right? "

L - " I... guess. Sorry, its just... difficult. "

A - " Well, only a few left to go until we can start our meal. Is Tungston or Edo coming? "

C - " Edo is for sure coming, Tungston... I don't know. I think she's researching in her Lab again. "

Me - " Wait.. Edo? She's here? "

A - " Yeah, she has been a big help. She was also the first to respond to Tungstons call, Edo got a bunch of guilds on our side. "

Me - " Really now? What guilds joined? "

A - " Front Line, Avarice, Autumn Sun, Keter , Half Man's Guild, Adventurers's Association... I think they also might of gotten Black Rocks, and of course her own. "

Me - " Wow, I know none of those. "

A - " Right... Front line is run by Asura, Half Man's guild is a powerful Forge guild, Black Rocks is a Construction Guild... and that's all the important ones at least. "

Me - " Gotch- "

That's when the Door was opened once more by Melody, Horizon, and who I assume to be Prine.

Me - " Welcome, Its good to see you again you two... and you must be Prine correct? "

P - " C-.. C-... "

M - " Yes, its been awhile Cobalt Sensei. "

H - " Likewise, but with normal dialogue. "

Me - " Ah its fine, I'm used to it... anywho, take a seat. Enjoy yourselves. "

I fucking stuttered. My life is over.

I fucked up my first impression with the supposed God King Cobalt... oh jeez... I'll just sit quite... not draw much attention to myself anymore...

Its a shame Rizen isn't here to back me up... he's a good emotional support, even if he doesn't talk much.

Likewise, First impressions go both ways... and he just screams ' God King '. He is tall... only over shadowed by Dice if you count her Extra limb's height. He is frail to a sense, but he gives off a sturdy feeling. His clothes also appropriately give a feeling of regality to him, and to be expected... appraisal comes back saying it's ' Regal Clothing '.

I take a seat... there is ten open seats, yet two remain empty. More guests I assume, I wonder who... actually, its likely Miss Tungston will come, or maybe even Mistress Edo.

In front if me laid a thick slab of steak, a marsh of mashed potatoes, and something I've never seen before. I appraise it, just to quell my curiosity.

Oh... its not of this world... oh, the flavour must be...

Intoxicating....Its... delicious.

Not even the food stalls of Morin could contest with this, and it only comes second to my mothers beef stew.

But... there is more food to be eaten.

A delicious steak as well... its similar in texture to beef, but its not only denser... but lighter, its taste can't really be compared to other meats but... the seasonings are a tad... weird. They mesh well, but in a weird way.

Next... the potatoes. Let's try these out.

| Desc. Its simple mashed potatoes, but it has a unique spice used for it... Paprika. |

Its alright. Its... mashed potatoes. Just a tad bit different with paprika in it, but its nothing crazy like that couscous.

That's the main course, of course... haha.

There is other stuff available too, like... a stew? Oh, now we are talking... its contest time, my Mother's Stew VS my King's Stew.

It... tastes likes mother's... it taste exactly like hers... its... good. I'm glad... this is what I'm here for, to make them proud... and this is my reward for my work this far.

A conversation was going on the whole time while I greedily ate, the food was great in every aspect... and it reminds me of home.

I take a drink out of the goblet I was presented, its Wine. Something my farther never enjoyed, but... its good.
