Assassination Attempt

John had officially declared war on the Confederacy with the excuse of not allowing a faction to be controlled by a Sith. Of course, the republic was under Palpatine's rule but John already had an effective plan to prevent him from gaining more power and controlling the Galaxy.

Around the Galaxy, most people were not surprised as they knew that the Imperium was preparing for war and had a feeling that it would be against either the republic or the Confederacy.

The Imperiums fleet was already mobilized and ready. Each fleet consisted of Capital ships with cruisers and destroyers and some support vessels such as Fleet tenders (which are used to carry supplies such as food and ammunition for fleets), Tankers (used to carry fuel, oxygen, and water), Carriers used to carry fighters, and used as a refuel and rearm for fighters also. Each fleet also had troop transports that carried vehicles and troops used to invade planets.

The fleet composition was proposed by Admiral Hacket who noticed that although the fleets have firepower and defense they have no supporting ships and could be overwhelmed by a great number of fighters or bombers.

John liked the New Fleet composition because it made his fleets even more powerful and be able to handle any situation.

Once Jarvis had announced his declaration the Imperium fleets led by their respective admirals went to invade Confederacy Territory.

Back in the Naboo system, John was on the Space Casino along with Padme and Layla. Kina and Atra were Admirals/Generals in the Imperiums army after learning tactics, warfare, and how to command and lead from Admiral Hacket and Admiral Anderson.

On the Space Casino, John was walking Guarded by 2 Teams of 6 Spartans since his Force Guards were training the Padawans for his Dragon Order. Along the way, many people cleared the way as the massive spartans were intimidating because of how tall they were and the sound of them walking. But a Mandolorian group was watching the group go by waiting for a chance to attack. All around the station were multiple groups of Mercenaries waiting for a chance to attack.

Many of the mercenaries saw the Massive intimidating spartans but figured that they could win by overwhelming them with their numbers. But the Mercenaries didn't know that one Spartan was a one-man army and John has 12 of them so any attempt to harm John, Padme, or Layla would simply be crushed by the Spartans.

John and Layla had already sensed the many watchful eyes on them but assumed that it was people surprised to see the Emperor on the Space Casino so John didn't worry and simply relaxed while he chatted with Padme. Layla had remained vigilant of their surroundings because she had a Gut feeling that something was off and something would happen soon.

After a couple of minutes of walking, they had arrived at their location which was a massive restaurant that was known for its delicious foods and mainly used by the Wealthy people or people who earned enough to buy the food.

John was coming here to have dinner with Padme before he left to join the war and to taste the delicious food that they had. The Restaurant was a Government-owned restaurant so the staff is recognized as Government Workers. Though the restaurant is Government-owned it is mainly run by the Stations administration. Many of the people working in the restaurant are people from one of the many Imperium planets while a very few are people from another factions planets so those who are not registered citizens of the Imperium are not Government Workers and are just regular workers though they have the same pay.

The restaurant was designed with a big open area filled with tables as you walk in and a massive stage for performers to entertain the Customers and had individual rooms that could hold up to 20 people mostly used for people of high class such as Traders or high ranking officials. The room contained two massive tables that could hold 5 people each and had a TV that would display the performance by the dancers on the screen and as well as any important Imperium announcement.

Once John walked in he had seen two droids stationed at the entrance most likely as security droids so he walked past them and approached the Hostess to get himself a booth big enough for his whole group.

"I would like a big enough Booth for my group," Said John

The Hostess was in shock that The Emperor of the Imperium had just walked in and even talked to her. Her mind was in scramble mode as the Emperor was known throughout the whole imperium and was a popular figure known to all. Even though she was used to dealing with people of power she was still shocked as John rarely appeared in public.

John saw the Hostess was not responding so he was about to repeat himself as he know that this must be surprising to meet the Emperor she must be in shock but then she finally answered him.

"Yes we have a room specially made for you if you would follow me I will personally show you, your Majesty," Said the Hostess with a smile though the smile was just to hide her nervousness.

John nodded and followed the Hostesses to the room location accompanied by the 12 Spartans Padme and Layla.

After some time of walking and many people looking at them, they arrived in front of a room.

"This is a room that was personally made for his Majesty by the Government and had never been used by anybody and had been maintained and kept clean by the staff," Said the hostess

A spartan had gone into the room to make sure it was safe and there were no traps set or anybody hiding.

After confirming it was safe John walked into the room with Padm and Layla and was flabbergasted at how big the room was and how exquisite it looked.

Padme and Layla were both surprised at how it looked as it had many pictures of beautiful places from many planets, a couch, an exquisite table, and a massive TV.

Padme and Layla went to the table and sat down followed by John.

"I will have a Waiter come and take your orders immediately Your Majesty," Said the Hostess before leaving to get a waiter.

After the Hostess left two spartans stood outside guarding the door while the rest remained inside.

A few minutes later the waiter had come in and taken the orders of John, Padme, and Layla. John ordered Roasted Porg with Thala-Siren Milk and Portion Bread, Padme ordered Braised Shaak Roast which was a Naboo food with some Thala-Siren Milk, Layla didn't know what to eat so she ordered what Padme got.

The waiter left with the orders and took them to the kitchen. The cooks had prioritized John's Order and made sure everything was right before sending the food to his table. The Cooks had hoped to impress John with their amazing Cooking ability.

After the food was done the waiter took the Hover cart and delivered the food to the front door where he was let in. Once in the room, he served the food to John's group. After confirming that they don't need anything else he left them to eat.

John, Padme, and Layla ate their food and had to say that it was extremely good so good that they finished all of it in a matter of 10 minutes.

The waiter had come back and taken the dirty plates. Before He left John tipped him which made the Waiter happy and grateful. Since the restaurant was owned by the Government the money used on the meal would be paid by the government.

After staying and watching the dancers for a little John, Padme and Layla left the restaurant and headed for the docks where they would leave the station.

On the way to the docks, one of the Mercenary groups had set up an ambush to assassinate John before he leaves the station.

As John approached the ambush point the mercenaries prepared for the ambush. Once John walked past the target location a sniper had shot a blaster at him.

The blaster flew past the many people and the spartans as it approached John. But before it could hit him in the head the Sniper had seen John smirk then Layla blocked the shot with her lightsaber. The spartans immediately got into defensive positions around John and Padme.

Around the station, thousands of droids immediately mobilized and locked down the station and rushed to where John was located.

The other mercenary groups seeing this had retreated while some had taken the chance to assassinate John before the droids could get there.

2 Spartans had taken the initiative to charge at the sniper and arrest him. The two spartans had charged through a group of mercenaries killing them with their sheer force while some got stepped on by the massive spartans.

Back to where John was the group was surrounded by mercenaries on both sides and had no way of escape. So John took out his Lightsaber and charged alongside his spartans at the mercenaries surrounding him.

The Spartans were like bullets moving through and killing Mercenaries leaving no one alive.

Padme was surrounded by 4 spartans protecting her from any harm.

John was with Layla and 4 other spartans charging and killing all the Mercenaries showing no mercy.

One of the mercenaries had got behind a spartan and attempted to engage in CQC(Close quarters Combat) but when he grabbed the spartan by her arm she didn't move at all. He then pulled out his pistol and shot her but the blaster shot was absorbed by the armor. The mercenary now had a face full of fear

"What type of Armor is this??" Screamed the Mercenary

The spartan didn't reply and simply grabbed his arm and swung him from one side to the other until his arm ripped off making his body fly elsewhere. The spartan then left to kill more mercenaries.

After a while, the droids had shown up armed and quickly eliminated the mercenaries but a lone female mercenary hiding in the shadows had waited for the perfect chance and charged at John with her blade ready to kill him.

As she approached John unnoticed by the spartans or droids she brought her blade forward ready to slash but John sensing her coming leaned back and dodged the blade then used his foot and kicked her directly in her chest nearly shattering her armor while she flew back on the ground.

John approached her and could see her holding her chest while coughing up blood. As John approached she tried to use her pistol and blast him but she was too weak to move and John used the force to throw her weapon away.

John was now standing over the Female Mandolorian and removed her helmet. He was surprised at who was under the mask.

Seeing his surprised face the Mandsolorian assumed he knew who she was.

"If you know who I am then you should let me go right now or else you will regret it," Said the Mandolorian in a weak voice

"You think because of your blood I care who you are," said John in a serious voice

"Your blood means nothing to me and clan Kryze can do nothing and will be questioned on this matter and the Deathwatch will be hunted down until nothing exists" Said John

He then ordered some droids to take her away.

Since the battle was over John, Padme and Layla were escorted back to his ship just in case there were any more threats on the station.

John thought that this could only be organized by one person who sees him as a threat and he knew exactly who that was.

'You will pay Palpatine you and the Mandolorians' Thought John while his ship left the dock back to his fleet.
