~~~(POV: Nathan Opal)~~~
~~~(Location Tatooine, Outside home)~~~
I finish channeling Force Power into Tatooine, and I take a deep breath as I feel tired for the first time since I started training all those years ago on Tython. I open my eyes, and I'm met with jungle-like trees and the sounds of flowing water off in the distance. My back pops as I fall back on the ground and look at the sky.
There are fluffy and healthy clouds, and I take a second to focus my mind. The energy I spent revitalizing Tatooine is quickly regenerating. "Didn't think that would actually work..." That test of my power didn't go as expected. Knowing who I am and where I come from has opened my eyes and mind. Opened them to test the limits of my power.
The strange thing is I feel a strong bond with Tatooine. Healing Tatooine has caused a connection to form between me and the world. While Tatooine isn't conscious, I can feel what it feels. The connection it has to The Force has been strengthened because of me. I lean up from the ground and turn towards my childhood home.
It's undamaged and unaffected by the change. Only grass has taken the place of sand on the outside. My ship is in the same state. Only its landing gear is now covered in fresh dirt and grass. All of a sudden, my holo-communicator goes off. I take it off my belt, and it's Kemro the Hutt. My business partner. It's the best way to put it.
Kemro has a certain look when talking about something worth a lot of credits. "Reports from my men are telling me Tatooine is covered in jungles and oceans. I take it that's your doing." Kemro is one of the smarter Hutts out there. He's the only one outside of Force Sensitives that can comprehend my power. It's why he's allied himself with me.
News travels fast around the galaxy. That's thanks to the Holo-net and the information that gets around. "Yes, Tatooine has been restored, Kemro. I can sense that you wish to do something with my world. Don't make me dig around in your head to find out." He looks a little nervous, and I can feel that his intentions aren't the best for Tatooine.
He looks to his right and the Hologram changes to a Republic General. One by the name of Reylex Gorna. "Nathan Opal, I'm General Reylex Gorna. I'm representing the Senate in talks with the Hutts. News has spread of what you've done on Tatooine. I'm curious if you're open to talking with the Republic about settlement offers on your world." The old me would shut off this Holo.
Given everything I've learned about myself and Star Wars, I shouldn't be so hasty. "That depends, General Gorna. What does the Republic plan to do if settlements begin on Tatooine? While I've restored the world, that doesn't mean I want have it turned into another Coruscant." General Gorna looks surprised that I'm entertaining the idea.
All of a sudden, Kemro takes back the Hologram. "Nathan, the Republic dog is only interested in Tatooine as a place to stage troops and push the Imperials. Give it to the Hutts, and we'll turn into a place that practically makes credits." My anger with Kemro grows. He presumes that deals can be struck further with the Hutts. I already have one deal with them.
They shouldn't presume that I'll continue making deals with them. I lift my right hand just a bit and I reach out through The Force and grip Kemros neck. He starts to choke and claw at his throat. "Don't presume to know what I want for Tatooine, Kemro. The Hutts know their place with me. That goes for you too." He nods his head the best he can, and I let go.
He gasps for air, and the Hologram turns back to General Reylex Gorna. "General, you tell the Republic that I'll consider a settlement, but only if they officially declare war on the Empire. Tell Satele that I wish to speak with her." He looks confused and ponders. I shut off the Holo-communicator not giving him a chance to reply.
There are tasks that I must focus on, and one of the things I need to do is figure out how to track the Star Cabal down... From the games, they were extremely elusive and hard to catch. I should start on Ord Mantell.
