Making Waves

As the King was enjoying his morning stretch on his balcony, the ground began to shake. As he looked over to see what was the commotion, he saw the automaton marching in from the port.

DOESN'T HE KNOW WHAT DISGRESSION MEANS!

The citizens of the capital watched as the large automaton marched to the castle careful as to not step on any citizens.

As Constitution reached the castle, she raise her hand as to allow the Ghost to step off.

Good Morning your Majesty!

Didn't I say come alone?

Well, your Majesty, I wanted you to me the pinnacle of our might in person. Your Majesty, may I present, Constitution.

The King looked into the face of the large being.

Your Majesty, it is a pleasure to met you face to face.

Likewise. I was actually going to bring you up in our meeting. Since you are, you both should know, Demons have been spotted on our border.

Before anyone else could speak, Constitution spun around to see a winged man hovering about ten feet from her.

The Ghost immediately shielded the King while Constitution readied for battle.

I am a herald of Demon Lord Kazuto. In three days, the great master shall claim this kingdom for his own! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

As fast as the demon herald had appeared, he vanished into thin air.

Noblemen Ghost, I am calling upon the Iron Country to help defend our Kingdom.

You got it.

Have your troops ready to fight by sundown. They will never give us three days, we must be prepared to attack.

Constitution and the Ghost raced home. The 451st had been training for the past week and had no idea that they'd be tossed into combat once again.

Inferno! Noble on deck!

Gather round!

As the soldiers gathered, the Ghost took a deep breath.

Get your gear on, we have new orders. Demons will be attempting to claim the Kingdom as their own. Tonight, we get to prove our strength.

The troops cheered as the Ghost went into depth of the plans. The 450th, a special division of the 451st would guard New Ottawa while everyone else would help defend the Kingdom.

As everyone was made aware of the impending battle, New Ottawa locked doors, and boarded up windows. Huey helicopters took to the sky as sun touched the dusk horizon. The Ghost hovered above Constitution as they made their way to the battlefield.

As dusk hit, the field was glowing with red eyes.

HERE THEY COME!

Without another warning, demons began attacking the soldiers of Ashfeld. Knight Haede charged at the higher ranking demon but was forced back by several hundred demons. The Ghost and Constitution crested the hill to see the army the King had ordered to fight, engulfed in a losing battle.

LOOK! THE IRON COUNTRY IS HERE! WE'RE SAVED!

Tell the Knights to pull back.

As they fell back, Constitution opened her entire arsenal. The Demons were no match for the Iron Country's guard dog. As the soldiers of the Iron Country raced into action. The Ghost stayed in the shadows awaiting for the opportunity to strike at their commander. Inferno and his men opened fire their napalmers at the demons. Normal fire did little to them, but napalm was highly effective against them as the gel burned their skin. Inferno tackled a demon and melted him into dust. Tempest rushed passed him with Spencer hot on their heels to find themselves face to face with not a demon general, not a lower ranking demon, but the Demon Lord himself.
