The city of war

An artilery projectile came then hit the building where Kein and Wen were. The projectile exploded making the building destroyed.

Every building walls and roofs collapsed then burrying Kein and Wen. They are burried under the building's ruin.

"God damn it! Buried again!" Kein grouched as he looking for Wen. "Wen, are you okay?"

"No! Please bring me some excavators to get rid this pieces of shit!" Wen replied under the ruins.

Kein succeeded to get rid ruins that pressing on him. Then he approaches to the damaged iron bars and materials ruins.

"Wen? I will bring you out from there. Hold on!" Kein said loudly.

"Do it quick, Kein. I can't breath here. And my legs! Oh, crap! It is bleeding cause of hit by brick!" Wen answered.

"Are your legs fine? Don't tell me if them broken!" Kein said while getting rid the ruins that caging Wen.

"Yeah, but one of them is," Wen said made Kein stunned.

"What? Holy crap! Alright I will get you out of there as I can," Kein said while accelerating his digging.

Several minutes later, Kein succeeded to get Wen out from the ruins. He carried the man out of that destroyed prison.

Kein brought Wen out of the building. When reaching a hallway, he stopped the steps.

"Hold on. There are soldiers are running to resist this attack," Kein said.

"Find every firearms for me. You lead me. I will shoot every of them who encounters us," Wen said.

"We will go to armory. There must be some weapons in there," Kein said as he continuing to walk.

"No time to find armory. I think there are several soldiers who were dead. We can grab their weapons. Let's find," Wen said.

"Okay. I agree," Kein said while carrying Wen downing the hallway.

Kein saw at least two soldiers are lying on the ground. There were dead leaving their firearms and the other weapons such like knife.

Then Kein took the weapons. He gave some of them to Wen.

"Thank you. This will very useful. The magazine is full by ammo. I can kill every of them," Wen said after receiving a Famas assault rifle.

Meanwhile Kein is holding a Gruppen assault rifle. That firearm doesn't exist in real world.

"Come on. This place is now a battlefield. Gloria soldiers are attacking this place. I hope they succeed to take control this city. Sadly, Narahita has been too far. They have controlled part of Gloria and Roderia, the further country," Wen said while looking at window.

"I think the island country has been controlled by Narahita. It is very close to Narahita. So, it will be first country that Narahita invaded," Kein said while put his weapon against the window.

"Red Reef Kingdom? Absolutely yes. It has been fallen for long. Even before this outbreak comes," Wen replied. "We have to move. Several Narahita soldiers are hiding there."

Kein and Wen walked through the hallway by crouching. They were continuing to walk until arriving at a dry fountain.

"I thought there are no zombie here. But I was wrong," Wen said as he looking at some lying dead body not far of the fountain.

"Are they zombies?" Kein asked.

"Yes, they are. Come on. We must stay away from here. They will awaken," Wen said.

Suddenly, some gunshots heard followed by sound of projectile hit everything there. Kein carries Wen quick away from there.

"Crossfire between Gloria troops and Narahita troops," Wen said.

Kein and Wen were hiding behind a wall. Then they surprised by someone who drove car while taking fire.

"Two of you, come!" It's Helen who said behind wheel of drive.

Kein carried Wen going into the car Helen driven. After that, Helen drove the car leaving the building which is being bombarded.

"This is very coincidence. Finally you come, Helen. I thought we will die pierced by bullets. Were you coming alone?" Wen asked to Helen.

Helen smiled bitter.

"My friend has been taken by them. The Narahita general has taken her. It can't be forgiven," Helen said sad.

"What? Ada has been taken? By the Narahita soldiers? I don't know what should I say. I am losing Ada. But why did they take Ada?" Kein said surprised then frantic.

"But don't worry. They won't hurt her. They have reason to take Ada," Helen said.

(On italic : "Helen, please don't tell Kein about who I am. He will be very shock if knowing who I am," Ada said to Helen when they were inside the Narahita's general's office.)

"Why Helen? Why?" Kein said as he being on impatient.

"Calm down, Kein. The important is we must go away from here. About who is that? We will discuss it later," Wen said trying to calm Kein down.

"Yeah, we will. But, there is problem ahead," Helen said while seeing at soldiers who stopped her car.

The soldiers are Gloria's soldiers. They were at safe area where there are no crossfire there.

"Identity card, please," a soldier said to ask identity from the car's passengers.

Helen gave the soldier a identity card. Meanwhile Kein and Wen were waiting until the other soldiers approaching them.

As the first soldier did, these soldiers were asking for identity card from Kein and Wen.

"So, you are civilian. Are there still citizens inside this city?" the soldier asked.

"I can't ensure that, sir. But I saw a small party of people near a gas station. Maybe they are the survivors too," Helen said.

"Why didn't you bring them? Ah, your car is too small. A Buzzle 996 with turbo engine. I found a car similar to yours, maam. That car is in wreck inside tunnel," the soldier said made Helen chuckled.

"I had used that car, sir," Helen said made surprised the soldier.

"What?" the soldier said curiously.

"So, can we pass, sir?" Wen asked.

"Not yet. You need to be checked first," the soldier said while giving sign to his squad.

"Come out from the car please," a soldier said as he opening the car's left door.

Helen and the others went out from the car. The soldiers then check them.

"Clear," one of them said.

"Alright, you can pass. But this car can't go out. You need to find another abandoned car," a soldier said.

"What? How dare you are," Helen glared at the soldier.

"Sorry, maam. This car might be infected because it be brought from the infected city," the soldier said.

"That's ridiculous! No, you can't take my car! No argue!" Helen said angrily while trying to enter the car.

But a soldier prevents her to do that. Helen fights back.

"Relaxe, maam. We have no intention to rob your car. We are just trying to protect you and your friends," the soldier said.

"But your reason didn't make sense! The car might be infected is impossible! Don't try to separate me with my car! I will resist whatever you will say!" Helen kept on her stance.

The soldier just shook his head.

"Helen, can you put your ego aside? Our objective is getting out here. Then we can think what we should do later," Kein said trying to calm Helen down.

"No for this matter! The car is mine! Don't try to force me to leave this car!" Helen said sharply made everyone clapping their forehead.

"I have known about her include her obsession on car. So, I think she will fight to maintain what she wants," Kein said.

"Alright. I will let you drive the car. But remember, take the risk by your own," the soldier finally made a decision.

After been permitted by these soldiers, Helen drove the car fast leaving the area.

"You're really crazy, Helen. Those soldiers had kneeled before you. I amaze that," Wen said.

Helen just smiled triumphantly.

Meanwhile in heart of a woods, there is a large building frame made from wood. It is building frame which has been built by Asip's party since they entered the woods.

"Everyone! Prepare to pull the logs up!" Asip shouted while looking at the workers who are working on the frame.

"Finally we found area that is fit for us to establish new shelter," Marsha said.

"This will be a great shelter. It probably greater than Peace City," a woman beside her talked.

"Thank you for your help, Alina. Without your help, we can't build this so far," Marsha said.

"Don't say like that. I just want to help all survivors I meet," Alina replied.

When they were busy, two men came approaching the shelter project. They are Thomas and Pierre.

"Asip! We're coming. We didn't find Ada," Thomas said when arriving behind Asip.

"What? You had wasted your time for nothing?" Asip turn his body then facing Thomas and Pierre.

"But, I have recorded this, sir," Pierre said while giving a smartphone to Asip.

Asip was stunned when he saw the television broadcast video from the smartphone

"So, I had treated princess of Narahita like to civilian all this time?" Asip muttered.
