I am Alone Among Them

One month later

Kein has started his life as a refugee who is living inside an office tower which is surrounded by high wall. He doesn't have new friend yet.

Everyone who lives inside this building doesn't care about him. Even they presumed Kein as a suspicious person.

Except Cohen who still care about Kein but he wasn't here for long time. He has gone outside wall to find whatever everyone need like information or supplies.

Kein is now sitting on the floor after finishing his shooting practice. Then several young men and women come to him. They look like want to bother Kein.

They are the member of Spike Rose gang. The gang is famous of it behavior. They like to disturb anyone who presumed weak. They seemly presume Kein is a weak one.

Not only this time, they bother Kein. They have ever bullied Kein by pushing him into sewer untill his wear dirty by mud and polluted water.

"Hello, freak. How are you today? Any challenge for us? You must be still a weak one. You can't against this world with your pathetic face. Wuahaha," a young man with long blonde hair insulted Kein by annoying words.

"Your face reminds me to someone pathetic. The boy dare to express his feeling to me. It's so sweet but I don't care because he is very pathetic like you, Kein," a young woman said while looking at Kein.

The girl has long black hair with his blue eyes. She is very beautiful. But, sadly she is very annoying like the other of Spike Rose gang member.

"Come on, Keira. We don't have much time to deal with him. He is too weak for us to bully," a red short hair young man wearing white singlet spoke.

"Shut up, Billy! You always defend him. What is your relation with this pathetic boy?" Keira looked sharply to Billy.

"Keira, you and Roland always bully the weak one. When will you try to bully the strong one?" Billy looked up to Keira and Roland.

The long blonde hair young man come closer to Billy. Suddenly he punches Billy face untill the young man falls down.

"Roland! Stop it! Why don't you to punch this pathetic boy instead punching our friend?" Keira shouted while pushing Roland to the back.

Roland doesn't reply Keira words. He turns to Kein and preparing his fist to punch him.

"Why didn't you try to go before you regret?" Kein now isn't affraid about Spike Rose gang bother.

Kein stands up looking at Billy who is preparing his fist.

"Wuhahaha, you aren't affraid to us? Sadly you will be injured seriously cause of your recent words," Roland said sharply while pushing his fist quickly to Kein face.

Kein evades Roland punch then hits his back by his right hand.

A sound of a punch heard while Kein hits Roland's back. Roland shouts painly and backs off then attacking again.

Roland attacks Kein blindly especially after him getting a wood stick from his gang member. But now, Kein is not who he used to be. Now he is a skilled fighter after learning a martial art skill from Cohen.

Kein catches Roland stick then punches him on face.

"Argghhhh....!" Roland screamed painly then covering his bleedy nose by his hand.

Roland is still curious. He screams angrily while pounding his stick blindly to Kein. But, like before, Kein succeed to repel Roland attack.

After evading opponent hit, Kein hits Roland cest untill the guy falls down to the ground.

"Aahhh, motherfucker! Kill him, bastard! Why didn't all of you help me to kill this pathetic boy?" Roland shouted angrily.

"Go forward all of you. I will make you enter hospital. Your behavior in this wall made me fed up. So, I will take a revenge to all of you," Kein said with threating tone.

Keira and Billy just staring each other. Meanwhile the other members of Spike Rose gang don't do anything. They don't dare to attack Kein. They fear of punishment by official this shelter if they doing something bad like riot or fighting.

"What are you affraid off? The official? Ah, you are so coward to defend your leader. Maybe you need your senior help? But they will not come in the near future except there is a miracle come to you," Kein spoke while staring at Keira and the others.

"Shut up, you motherfucker! I will kill you next time! Come on, boy! Our revenge will be done next time. This pathetic man will be die soon," Roland spoke roughly while rising up.

Roland and the others go to leave Kein. They go bringing grudge to Kein. Maybe they will take a revenge to Kein next time.

Kein just stares to the gang horde.

"I don't want to kill you while you are living. But if you are zombie, hardly I will kill you," Kein muttered then goes leaving the area.

Several minutes later, an explosion heard. Apparently a big horde of living deads are approaching the wall. Even several of them have climb the wall.

Then gunshots heard everywhere followed by screams of zombies. Every soldiers or civilians who have firearms together are shooting the living deads which climb the wall.

Meanwhile Kein and the other refugee just hiding with hope the zombies attack end immediately.

But, their hope just hope.

The zombie horde succeed to breach a corner of wall. So, the zombies can enter inside wall and attack everyone who is in front of line.

"Aaaaah, son of bitch! I have been bitten! Please kill me before I eat your brains!" a man screamed after getting bitten by several zombies.

"Oh, no! Xuen has been bitten! But I can't shoot him! He is my friend!" another guy shouted frustrated while backs off from his friend.

Suddenly, guy named Xuen commits suicide by shooting his own head. Xuen is now dead. He is no more. But something horrible occured.

Xuen is living again but not as himself before. He has transformed into a living deads.

"Oh, no! Why did he transform into zombie? He has shot his head but it doesn't work!" Xuen friend shouted panicly.

"Here!" someone shouted to Xuen friend.

Xuen friend runs to the guy while attacking zombies which is trying to grab him.

"You are Kein, aren't you? What are you doing here? You will get bitten by them," Xuen friend spoke when knowing who the guy who called him.

"Mr. Wen, they are also inside. Most of refugees were escaping but part of them didn't make it. They were transformed into the living deads," Kein said while his breath up and down.

"Holy crap! Then, where is the other officials. Did they run too?" Wen asked.

"I don't know, sir. I have not meet them while running here," Kein replied.

Wen blows his breath frustrately. He looks like confused.

"We must run too, sir. This place has fallen. The walker has controlled this place," Kein said while seeing at horde of zombies outside this room.

"Alright, Kein. We must go out. We will live in the wilds. Prepare yourself," Wen said while grabbing his firearms.
