His friends shouted in alarm from behind, rushing to his aid.
However, the distance between Kalsie and the enemy was minimal, and the arrows were upon him before his friends could react.
'You can do it. Just like before.' Focused and determined, Kalsie exerted his willpower, hoping to achieve something that once he felt before.

With no other option, Kalsie raised his sword and swiftly deflected them with remarkable speed.

As he deflected, the sounds of worried friends and shocked enemies were drowned out by the clattering of arrows.
