Chapter Thirty-four

"There is a mole in your organization," the Colonel glared at Jim. "Someone let the enemy know this Bo was being transported by us. I don't care if he's dead, but I have three dead, and a very good Military Police Officer who is still recovering from the experience."

"That doesn't make the mole one of my people," Jim reined in his anger. "Your people picked Bo up in front of the detachment. No one attempted a covert action. As for how they knew he was being transferred, Bo called his lawyer. At least he said it was his lawyer, but he didn't change his actions after the call. I think he called his friends at the camp and told them what was going on. It's standard procedure to transfer prisoners to Thompson. Even with the old detachment, we didn't have the facilities to hold people for very long. The sniper and his mate could have been waiting for any vehicle going south, or someone watching the transfer might have let them know what vehicle he travelled in."
