Qin Mu Acted Coquettishly

Qin Mu was sent to the emergency department.

The nurse asked the patient's family to pay for his bill. Without saying a word, Tang Ning took the initiative to deposit the bill.

Bai Tao did not want Tang Ning to pay the bill. However, he was a police officer and had nothing to do with Qin Mu. Thus, in order to prevent Tang Ning from suspecting him, he did not stop her.

After a thorough examination, the doctor held onto the report and said to Tang Ning and the others, "The patient must have been unconscious because he took some valium. However, we still need to observe the injury on his head. It's quite serious and there's no sign of bleeding. However, it's possible that he has a concussion."

Tang Ning knew Qin Mu was fine, so she felt a little relieved. "Doctor, is the concussion serious?"

"We don't know yet. It'll depend on when the patient wakes up."

Qin Mu was wheeled into the ward.

It was already late at night. Tan Ning said to Shan Shan and Bai Tao, "Thank you so much for your help today, but it's late now. You guys should go home. When he wakes up, I'll treat you to dinner!"

The 3 of them sat around Qin Mu's bed. Tang Ning looked deeply at Qin Mu's face. She could not believe that if she had not arrived in time, Qin Mu would have already been buried in the sea.

With that, it made him feel like he was still in a dream.

"Qin Mu, you're awake?" Tang Ning placed her hand on his chest with a relieved smile. Her eyes were filled with worry as she asked, "Do you have a headache? Do you feel dizzy?"

Qin Mu felt Tang Ning's presence and realized it was not a dream. In a daze, he remembered hearing Tang Ning's voice on the phone before he lost consciousness. It was only then that he realized Tang Ning must have known he was in danger and rushed over.

Tang Ning was still worried about him!

"It does hurt a little, and I feel dizzy and uncomfortable." Qin Mu furrowed his brows as he held onto Tang Ning's hand on his chest.

Her coquettish tone made Bai Tao, who was also standing in front of the hospital bed, feel numb. In his memory, the president was a tough and firm man. He had never told anyone how his body felt.

At that moment, Bai Tao suddenly received a sharp gaze. He immediately understood what Qin Mu meant. It seemed, as a single man, Bai Tao was indeed unromantic. No wonder the cold president already had a girlfriend, but he was still single!

He had no choice but to change his words. "Forget about it. Since you're still feeling dizzy, give me your number. I'll ask again tomorrow when you feel better."

After leaving his contact number, Bai Tao said to Shan Shan, "It's late, and it's not safe. I'll send you home."

At that moment, only Qin Mu and Tang Ning were left in the room.

Tang Ning thought about what she had said to Qin Mu a few days ago and felt a little awkward.
