The Thunderstorm poured down on the pavement,
The Smell of Freshly damp dirt was fragrant,
Spitfire stood Shivering on the road, starring, very Hurt down the street, His Two best friends just left, and Young Spitfire felt nothing was ever going to be the same.
Scott was on the other side of the street,
He lived about 5 miles from Spitfire but would mess around most of the time near Town since he lived aways off.
Spitfire caught, Scott's attention right away,
And Scott rushed across the street,
It's been a while since the two talked in person, only by sneaking phone calls nearly every night.
"Spit," Scott chuckled, walking over to him, it could be a funeral, and Scott would find something to laugh at " I heard about your friends,
I'm sorry bout that,
guess you are stuck with me," He snickered " I'll be your bestie."
Spitfire turned to him,
he smiles somewhat " Unfortunately, it's not that easy,
I'm glad you found me, though," He replies and coils his petite arms around Scott's waist,
The two hugged in the flooding rain for a few seconds.
Scott hugged him back tightly " I understand, Spitty" He scowls, " can I buy you a coffee? go somewhere dry to talk?" he shouts,
over the extreme rain
Spitfire turned loose and stepped back from Tall Scott, "I'd love that."
Scott beams, draping his arm over Spitfire's shoulder.
The rain pounded hard, Lighting Crashed, with the sound of the café door closing.
" Welcome, Can I get you two anything?" A young lady greets them with a smile.
"Yeah, actually, Two medium Coffees, please," Scott says,
and walks over to a Seat by the large glass windows,
Spitfire following, He shivered out of his wet jacket, laying it on the backside of his booth seat.
"You Cold?" Scott asked.
Spitfire nods, "Not really, just wet,
I can't believe this weather, to be honest,
Winter is right around the corner,
I suppose."
Scott dazed outside, "yep," He says, "Well, winter ain't bad, lots to do really!"
Spitfire frowns, "I don't do anything but get bossed around,
and hit if I do something wrong."
"By your dad, right?" Scott smirked, "That fool, I tell you, if I were you, Ol' Adam wouldn't be so lucky."
"I love my dad." Spitfire answers, "And he loves me,
it just so happens, he takes his anger out on me."
Scott shrugs, "I wouldn't put up with it."
Scott Looked at Spitfire,
and the two met eyes instantly,
both stopped talking and found themselves lost in each other's souls,
Scott slowly leaned closer to Spitfire,
Spitfire himself, doing the same thing,
Scott took his hand, cupping Spitfires Chin gently,
Dazing getting very lost in Spitfires Dark brown eyes.
Scott found himself Shipwrecked in such dark, deep eyes unlike himself, and a sudden crush happened quickly between the two,
Spitfire Starred locked eyes with Scott's eyes when, unfortunately, the two were disturbed by the waitress.
"Two Hot Coffees for a cold day." She says,
setting the cups down on the table.
Scott slowly sat back into his seat,
facing Spitfire, who sat silently,
confused about what just happened.
Spitfire bit his lip, glancing at Scott, then out the window,
back and forth, He never felt this way before,
it was new!
Scott sipped his drink, casually, before speaking again,
"Wanna come over to my place?" he asked.
Spitfire, starred at the coffee in the cup,
whirling around and around, looking back up to Scott on the other side of the table, "I can't," he says simply.
Scott frowns, taking another sip, "That's fine." He says back, "Another day then."
Spitfire nods " Of course." He says quietly.
Scott bent a brow, looking at Spitfire, who was very still.
Spitfire's energy changed, and he sat restlessly staring out the window, not even caring about the cup of coffee in front of him,
He had a rough day, and the friendship of the two that grew closer,
made it very awkward, and quiet.
He sat trying to figure out this twinge,
in his heart for actually caring for another person,
and he was frightened if maybe these feelings were true,
Scott would end up leaving him,
and he'd be All alone, all over again.
Scott finished his Coffee setting the cup down,
The tap on the marble table scared Spitfire,
and he jumped, getting back to reality,
He daydreamed out the window,
about something very precious to him.
"Oh, you scared me," Spitfire conversed,
with a chuckle.
Scott laughed back, "I'm sorry, I finished my coffee first, your the rotten egg."
Spitfire smiles, "You're a silly one." he grins,
smiling from ear to ear at Scott, " Your silly, aren't you?
you always smile, you laugh, you're happy."
Scott nods " When Life gives you troubles, Laugh about it." he shrugs
" Why fret over something you cannot control."
Spitfire sniffles, "I'm the trouble,"
Scott looks at him curiously, "Your not Trouble, Your Beautiful." he says Softly.
Spitfire tips his head, looking puzzled at Scott, "Scotty?" He says, Softly Back, "Stop this." He declares, "Don't say that, I'm a horrible person, Not good for you, or my family."
Scott shakes his head, "No... You don't say that,
you are beautiful, Spitfire, inside and out."
Spitfires lips mimered, Looking to Scott "My god." He frowns, confused
" What is this Scotty?,
Why are my emotions stirred,
Am I in love?" he asked, startled.
Scott shrugs, "I don't know, are you?"
Spitfire puts his head down, Then shakes it troubled, glancing back up to Scott, Biting his lip " Maybe?" he says softly,
"Maybe I am, Scotty, Maybe I love you?"
Scott nods, "Maybe I love you back?" He grins, glancing down at Spitfire's hands, Spitfires fingernails were Painted Black, Glossy, and were placed out on the table, elegantly, Scott takes his hand and places it on top of Spitfires.
Spitfire watches, his and Scott's hands, which Scotts was much larger than his own, Feeling the warmth, he relaxed.
"No Scotty." Spitfire says back, positively, "I love you more,"
