Preparations

Four figures stood outside a large building in the middle of a village in the center of a thriving forest awaiting thier orders they were.

Calla: the kitsune

Onyx: the lamia

Silva: the lycan

Dreani: the dryad

At around mid day an elder in red robes exited the building handing a scroll to Calla "Here is your first mission" he said as he looked into her eyes with some worry "please be careful" he replied before turning around.

"Thanks grandfather we will be." she replied back as all four of them salute the retreating elder.

"What's the mission we have calla?" Dreani asked looking to her best friend for many years.

"Yesss do tell what we are doing." hisses Onyx in anticipation for thier first mission.

Silva just looks at Calla waiting to hear where they will be going releasing a low growl in excitement.

Calla looks at her team of friends before opening the scroll and once the scroll fully opens 4 objects tumble to the ground.

Calla bends to pick them up to see what they are, then her eyes open wide in shock.

"Element stones!!" Calla said with disbelief "why would he gives these, arent they expensive?" she says as everyone looks at the stones in he hands with disbelief as well.

"Why would he do thisss it'sss not like we are helplessss and weak!" Onyx hisses angrily

Dreani looks quizzically at the stone's. "it seems theres 1 for each main element wind, fire, earth and water." she adds matter of factly she then looks at the scroll in Callas hands.

Silva then adds in a gruff voice "whats the mission say Calla?" after he says this he and onyx both looks at the scroll.

Calla looks at the scroll as it reads:

Journey out to the waistlands and discover why the goblins are acting so strangly and report anything you find back to the village.

Take these element stones so you each can learn one of the main elements they will definitly help in your journey. also remember to pack for atleast a months worth of provisions as we know not the duration it will take for this mission.

Calla sighs after reading the message "that doting old fool. well what do you guys think, how should we split these?" she asks while looking at everyone.

Dreani speaks first " I would think that our best split would be Calla fire, Onyx earth, Silva wind, and I will take water. wouldnt you agree that this way we each are complimented best element wise?" she asks and waits for an answer.

Everyone looks at each other then at Dreani.

x3 "Agreed!"

Calla then passes out the stones fire for herself, water for Dreani, earth for Onyx, and wind for Silva. they each crushed the stones then ingested them.

They each began to glow brightly corresponding to thier elements, then small gemstones appeared on thier heads. a red stone that seemed ablaze upon Calla, a yellow stone that seemed to shape the earth upon Onyx, a green stone that seemed to flow with the wind upon Silva, a blue stone that seemed to roar like a river upon Dreani.

They all seemed to gain what seemed like an assortment of coloration on thier bodies coresponding with the colors of thier elements.

Calla gasps at how the sudden energy feels and notices everyone looks to feel the same way.

"Well lets get ready and meet at the east gate in 3 hours and may the spirits guide us all." Calla said as they all began walking to thier homes to prepare for the journey that will change thier lives forever.
