Chapter 37: Arriving at the Mansion

“You’re wearing it to Prom?” Ethel asked, looking at Kerry in concern.

“Oh, yes definitely. Just to stand out,” Kerry responded. “My makeup is also gonna be spectacular,” she added with a confident look in her eyes.

“Do you now believe in Dracula stuff?” Marielle asked with a deep frown between her shapely brows.

“It’s just for fun,” Kerry responded with a giggle.

“But it’s Prom, not Halloween,” Ethel remarked with a disapproving look in Kerry’s direction.

“By makeup, do you mean that you’re gonna wear fangs and Dracula paint?” Marielle asked in confusion.

“Not at all,” Kerry responded with a good chuckle. “You should see the look on your face. It’s precious!” she continued as she studied Marielle’s face closely.

“So, what makeup are you talking about then?” Marielle asked.

“Just some glamourous Hollywood-style makeup,” Kerry answered. “Anyway, that’s it,” she concluded and picked the dress up from the bed to place it back into its cover.
