Shadow's PoV

As I left the café, I could feel my heart racing. That fake was my 'crush'. Yes, I did develop feelings for the hedgehog on the phone, but not that annoying, blue hedgehog. It made no sense. I just acted as if he wasn't that hedgehog, in all honesty, surprising myself. Usually, I would punch him or something, but this was different.

I soon found myself at the flower shop, when did I come here? I must've subconsciously wandered over. Well, while I'm here, I might as well pick up some flowers. 

I calmly strolled into the shop, the bell ringing as I opened the door. 

"Hello, Shadow. Do you want the usual?" Melissa asked, her soothing voice sending my thoughts into an abyss in my mind.

"Ah, I think I'll go with the same magnolias." Maria always loved these flowers, "I'll just get the purple ones." 

"Oh, ok." the tabby cat waltzed over to the back of her store, gently grabbing a handful of purple magnolias then handed them to me. They had a black ribbon tied around a beautiful cylinder vase. I paid with my credit card and then exited the cute little shop. I took out my blue Chaos Emerald and then teleported to a cherry tree. The pink flowers on the tree brightly lit up my area.

I walked over to Maria's tombstone; gently placing the vase right there. I gently sat down on the grass as I talked to her. I did this for a few minutes before telling her goodbye, but I hadn't quite left.

I could feel the breeze blow against my quills. Then I saw her. Her blonde hair danced in the wind as she danced in front of my face. Her silky blue dress blew with every sway, her smile bright and warm. Tears slowly fell to the ground as she walked toward me, her spirit engulfed me.
